Naira devaluation has nothing to do with P2P trading but government printing of more Naira than the increase of good economic assets in the country. All fiat currency including USD will eventually go to zero like Zimbabwe if they keep printing more currency which will continue inflation. The opposite is Bitcoin which does not devalue because it has only 21 million and does not increase but reduce now at about 19.7 million as 1.3 million is lost.
The IMF International monetary fund gives loans to third world countries and issues conditions like devaluation of currency, increase of taxes, lowering wages, and other general re-structuring of the economy. This is what Nigeria went through in 1986(I was 19 then) called the SFEM with IMF. This SFEM in Nigeria devalued the currency overnight from $1 to 3 Naira to $1 to 50 Naira in one week and we thought it was bad then but now it is $1 to 780 Naira.

Print which money? The issue is that the inflow of dollars is very low into the country. Nigeria needs to be a production based country to attract more dollars. It's as simple as that. Air peace is bringing in dollars to the nation we need more investment like that

Actually both printing money and foreign investments and other index like unemployment, consumer commodity and several other fiscal policies play a big role in devaluing the naira. The truth is P2P has no much influence on the naira issue if it does how does affect it.. They keep saying it does but the truth is they can't even explain or back up their claims... Also our economy is hardly digitized which makes it hard for us to compete with other economies... All this P2P ban and crypto is all nonsense... And funny thing is people keep buying into it..

Receiving payments can be instant depending on the sender’s bank…but incase it takes time, try sending your crypto to the Fintech app and convert to Naira directly at whatever rate available there. When the desirable is not available, the available becomes desirable.

Wrong update. These fintechs will block any inflow of USD from personal accounts. A safer method is to send usdt to your fintech account, shop for a bit and withdraw balance as naira.
For now, some fintechs companies still allow inflow from personal accounts.
Majority of scamers on p2p are 9ja, in future they may not have any wallet to trade with.
