This was actually accurate for me. I have a very girly/feminine style because wearing colorful clothes makes me happy, so I tend to stand out in a crowd. On multiple occasions people have told me I look like a Barbie. I take it as a compliment

black clothes are terrible, they shed lint everywhere, it gets on your bed in small black spots, especially after you sleep you see a bunch of them on the sheets, it collects a bunch of hair when you go outside, even when you use a lint roller it comes back after an hour. how does anyone wear black shirts like that?

@@luigigreen_ Exactly. The hair especially if you have furry pets or a girlfriend who sheds everywhere. The only black I wear anymore is leather because it doesn't collect lint or hair like fabric does and that is only boots, belt and wallet.

I've identified my aesthetic and fashion taste as somewhere between scene and emo, but I call it "makeshift emo" or "makeshift scene" because really I'm just using whatever I have in my wardrobe that my family's bought me and like 5 things I've managed to pick up at various Hot Topics

I often wear oversized shirts and comfy yet baggy pants, or oversized sweaters and shorts. I'm a bit hippy like, and loungewear like. I try to make my outfits match, and look cool, and make them very comfy like. sometimes, I wear a bit of "kidcore" and or "Weirdcore" outfits. the key to a good outfit, is to make sure you love it, it fits you right, and you can fully move around it it!
My style is generic T-shirt and shorts. Fashion is overrated. Just don’t look homeless.
Sure you will need an outfit to go to a party or fancy event and you need to dress to the nines, but for everyday stuff it really couldn’t be less of a big deal.

The cosplay one is so true 😭 I always feel like I can’t cosplay without showing it off somewhere, especially because I make my own cosplays and soak up praise like a sponge. But then when someone actually compliments me I get nervous.

I go from classy to biker to straight up homeless on a cycle so i can avoid my friends if i want. I straight up jumpscared one of them when i told our friend to hurry up to come join us and the first one admitted she had straight up filtered me out of her contiousness because of the clothes.

My style has only gotten more tomboyish as time went on, and now that I have short hair, I can confirm that a bunch of people think I'm male. It's funny, but it gets annoying when people persist in their belief that I'm male.
i just knew there was going to be emo so I clicked on the vid to see if it's accurate and I'm really glad there's an actual emo, not some e-girl and the description isn't like: "you just wanna die". Damn stereotypes are everywhere and a lot of people mistake emo for many other subcultures/styles.
