Bad song... I speak Stronomy is better.
It’s not bad and it’s all about the live performance. If I was going for my favorite I would have suggested Words of Wisdom.

My favorite is I Speak Astronomy, not only because of the insane riffs but also Tatiana’s voice gives me chills every time. In my opinion the best display of Tati’s clean vocals ever!

Honestly, every Jinjer video is a good choice for a reaction, because, they do not have any bad songs. They are such incredibly talented players, and, they draw from such a deep & diverse set of influences, that their music never gets boring, or, stale. Tati is a vocal POWERHOUSE, and, also, a brilliant lyricist! My personal favorite track by Jinjer is "Bad Water". It's a different sound for them. A slower tempo, melodic groove, gives it an almost stoner metal vibe. It's got a palpable early Tool influence, and, it's got only clean vocals by Tatiana.

sit stay roll over is probably my favorite track from them. my neck gets such a workout everytime
There is various cellphone footage (e.g. ua-cam.com/video/jeLco8sPh6s/v-deo.html) of them doing this song live including concerts that I think were from the tours that were used in the production of the official video. Not that the audio is super clear in a cellphone recording but even on those you can hear the band absolutely slay live.
In any case enjoy the Jinjer journey - they literally don't have a bad song and there are so many to enjoy: "Who is Gonna be the One (official live)", "I Speak Astonomy (either live or the official video)", "Captain Clock (Live at Ressurection Fest)", "Just Another", "Perennial", "Outlander"...the list goes on... and if you're tempted for the really heavy stuff "Ape" and "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" and killer tracks.
Whatever you do have their lyrics available as this band write incredible lyrics in additional to their fantastic musical abilities.

I saw Jinjer live in South Africa last month. Absolutely fantastic show. They are still touring. Check out their website to see if they are having a show near you. Definitely do not miss them.

She's not struggling because she is vocally trained. The growls are a vocal technqiue called vocal fry and it is what is used in metal music. That is why they don't hurt their voices. It's all about the technique. And Tatiana is a beast at it!

Ladies, I got sucked down the Jinjer rabbit hole about 9 months ago and I can not get enough of them. Tatiana Shmailyuk has amazing vocals but if you listen to the band they are the reason that I stay in the rabbit hole. I Speak Astronomy is freaking awesome as well as many other stongs by them.
Ha ha! and people said y'all weren't ready for Jinjer. Luv that y'all are just as blown away by them as I was. Please react to Jinjer- Scissors & Exposed as a Liar. Both songs are earlier ones when the band had different members. Keep rockn ladies! \m/
Jinjer - Outlander is one of my favorites, Perennial too.
It's worth pointing out that you can see Jinjer doing their thing live on their North American tour coming up in September/October. They are the headline act and have concerts in both Canada and the US (over 40 gigs booked!). Would be awesome to see a "live" reaction to the band. I so wish they would tour my area of the world (New Zealand)

There are to versions of I Speak Astronomy that are really great. The studio video is beautiful. Tatiana's performance at Resurrection Fest last summer is also amazing in its passionate intensity, but the most impactful part is the end. There is a pause kinda like in this one near the end but she keeps on singing after the pause in that one. What I'd recommend is watch the official video, but then switch over to the last minute or so of the live performance after that pause ua-cam.com/video/4HW-ACeiUMI/v-deo.htmlm00s. The pause is right at the 19 minute mark.

I'd recommend a concert video next - either Who Is Gonna Be The One or Captain Clock. The most impressive switching between cleans and growls is the Beastarium recording session of Destroy, before they had a record label. The song isn't Tati's, being a legacy song from their former singer that Tati reinterpreted to fit her vocal skills.

Too many amazing songs to choose from
For live Jinjer, "Who's Going to be the One," "Captain Clock," or "Outlander" (best Ukrainan band 2014 studio over live footage) are my faves. "Perennial" or "Ape" are great from 2019's Micro album. "Cloud Factory" official video from ~2014 album is great. Recommend you guys check out their song lyrics on Genius. Good stuff. I love that she writes about the environment, aging, rebirth, and getting politically active- not the usual metal themes. Got tix to see them live this fall.

You know, I think you do get it. I hope you react to some more Jinjer - I recommend "Perennial", it has a lovely video too. If you want to go to Jinjer's harder stuff, "Ape" and "Sit, stay, roll over" are both excellent.
I really enjoyed your first two Jinjer reactions, very positive and warm, if slightly baffled. I was shaken the first time I heard Tatiana's growl and I've heard a lot of metal over many years. She gives me goosebumps.

Try Cloud Factory' by "JINJER".. TEACHER TEACHER is about the cruelness and 'Pompus' authority of some Catholic Nuns.. When Tatiana stomps her foot, and says: Teacher, Teacher... Self-proclaimed Preacher!! She's rebelling against that Nun.. In turn, gets punished again.. In the end of the song when she says: I smile at you... A last effort of rebellion as she's leaving the school..
