I just "discovered" Jinjer a couple of months ago and every reaction and comment you guys have is right on the money. They ARE their own genre and untouchable in every way as a band. There is nothing they cannot do it seems.
Totally agree! The drama level and the level of presentation of that drama is just perfect. The really tell the fucking story. And the music fits the story being chaotic in dreadful moment and melodic and gentle in other part.

One thing I noticed watching almost all the reaction to Jinjer is that everybody takes for granted that the lyrics are in English. And they have good lyrics. And English is their second language, maybe even third, as they are from Ukraine, and usually their second language is Russian.

Just a curiosity about me: I've heard that song a little before it was released, watching their live performances on UA-cam, and I was kinda already used to the song. But when the EP finally came out, I remember I listened to it on my car and blasted on the max volume lol (with the final sound quality it was 1000x better). I was almost breaking my neck and smiling listening to that shit, while driving hahahh

i'm saying this band is on the level of tool in terms of talent balance... this is the only 2 bands i can think of where i can say that ALL: vocalist, guitar, bass, drummer component/member of the band is EACH on the elite level.... there are no other bands that are so talented across the 4 positions
