Guy Hagi… Inaccurately predicting the surf and weather half the time... I used to see him out Kewalows all the time. I remember an epic south swell one year that he said was non existent. Bastard was probably thinking that if he tells us all the waves are small, there will be less competition out there...
Can you show people to the different ways to pop up on a surfboard please? I'm a beginner Surfer aggressively trying to move from soft-top to longboard and eventually down the fun shapes and hopefully one day not too far in the future shortboards but I know the pop-up is very different when doing it on shortboards. I have watch UA-cam videos on the chicken wing method and jumping from the thighs which is very hard and planting toes into the pad and stepping forward with the dominant and I just want to know what do most professional Surfers do and what do you like to do? For the pop-up. Thanks!!!!
