Good morning 🌞from Massachusetts. It's nice to wake up and get this Notification 😍💞🐒🐵👍🏽My favorite beutifull monkey's. To see them develop and learn and play. 💞🐒..And Kyle is the best😍.. Patient, kind, smart,,and handsome💞.. Keep these great videos coming.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Hi Kyle. I no this an older video, what an awsome program u have and I wish I could volunteer I would travel from New York. USA and bring a blanket and just sit with these babies and play. I’m new and last night did a power watch on all of your shows. The baboons were cute also. A huge thank u to all who that make this possible for these gorgeous babies have a safe place to live. ❤️🌺🐒♥️🐵🥰
I JUST FOUND THIS CHANNEL ABOUT A WEEK AGO, BY ACCIDENT, BUT IVE BEEN BINGE WATCHING EVERYTHING SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING..... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS, I WISH I COULD AFFORD TO VOLUNTEER, IT WOULD BE AN ABSOLUTE DREAM.... I DO HAVE TO SAY THOUGH THAT I FEEL HORRIBLE FOR ALL THE BABIES GETTING HURT "THROUGH THE FENCE"
Shasta is the kind of best friend every girl dreams of....she had her girl Frenchies back through thick & thin until the end!! #goals I know this is an older video but I like to go back and rewatch the previous season it episodes. Sadly that’s all we will all have now that Kyle is no longer going to be filming at VMF 😢!! I’m thankful we have so many videos to watch and look back at these precious souls get a second chance at life. I personally am thankful for all I learned about monkeys wild and humanized and the trauma it causes the monkeys when they live with humans. I had my mind set since I was a little girl to someday own a lil monkey maybe a little marmoset but thanks to VMF and Kyle I saw the damage and trauma and if you truly love animals you couldn’t possibly do that to them. Now would I foster or care for one that was unable to return to wild due to disability, injury or being raised by a human and also can no longer survive in the wild due to humanization. I wish Kyle well and truly hope to see more videos in the future of him working with primates...I even loved learning about baboons when he shot a couple videos at CARE! Thank you again Kyle for all you have done for these lil guys and also all the entertainment & knowledge you gifted us with, you truly are a talented man and I have no doubt you will go far in life. 😊 🐒 💗 🐵 💗
Hi Kyle I want to say thank you so much for sticking with this for the ones like me who love an care about the monkeys well as for me since I was 9 years old all I wanted to be was a veterinarian for exotic animals an I am now an I do what you do take care of ex pets in the USA an kyle you keep me sane seriously in what I do the story has me laughing an the personalities of the babies an the adults that you catch on film tickle me to no ends an sometime you guys help me in typically emotional part that we have to deal with in our job so want to say thanks again an I also enjoy seeing the journey with you An the team with the vervets an it a god sent an angel for them an its great so I can't wait till the next video 🙊🙈🐒🐵🐵🐵🙊🙈🐒🐒🐒🐒🙊🙈🐵
I just love All you guys do for these amazing animals! My heart especially goes out to the blind monkeys because my Dad was blind and it was amazing how fast his other senses kicked into over drive and truly made him seem super human much like animals once they figure out their home they are pretty much same as ones who can see. I even had friends growing up who said we where lying about Dad being blind because of how fast he got around and even cooked some amazing meals. So many people are quick to want to put an animal down wild or domestic just because of something like blindness, amputation or other things that makes them different but the body is amazing how it adapts and eventually the injured ends up thriving. I love that you show how normal the monkeys are and how much you do for these guys, all of you at VMF are true angels on earth. Bless you all and love to all those gorgeous monkeys!
Be still my beating heart! The cuteness meters handle broke passed, insanely adorable and Immeasurable cuteness! These monkeys have gone through so much abuse and no one really knows their true stories. All we can do is make it easier for the VMF to generate revenue. Thanks Kyle for the awesome footage!
Sometimes I wonder (when a baby is introduced to a possible foster mom for the first time) if it triggers reliving a traumatic excruciating memory of when their Mom got hit by a car and died. And that perhaps this might be another reason why they scream in terror. I’ve seen some of the foster Moms urgently comfort them in that moment, and that’s why it made me think of this possibility. That perhaps the foster Mom somehow knew. Maybe they talk to each other about these things? It’s genuinely tender to observe how loving the foster Moms really are to the babies. They must know on a deep level of your profound compassion to help all of them. To their dear minds, it must feel like a terrifying pandemic that all of these Moms had died such traumatic deaths. Thank you for availing to them profoundly safer environments. They must immensely appreciate your inordinate kindnesses.
@@thereseember2800 No you don't. I've read articles that no human can remember before age 4, it's called baby amnesia. They went on to explain that you might think you remember something but it's only a made up thing.

OMG my girls Bell and Vera. How sweet they are. And Gabe is a doll. And what's with sucking on Diane's ears Gabe and Bell? Silly babies. As for Buffy, ever thought she's in love with you Kyle? It gets me how Bell feels her way along. And Diane certainly is not letting that one leg stop her. My gosh she still leaps and runs. Then there's my Vera. What if she loves her bankies? Thank you!!! I just love keeping up with these amazing monkeys. Thank you, Kyle, for doing such a great job with filming and narrating. I just love this style of video. *QUESTION:* Do the moms know that the babies have special needs like blindness? In the wild are special needs babies rejected or cared for by the troupe?
You really caught some good footage of the blind baby in the box/kennel being introduced through the fencing to other monkeys. What you caught her with the baby moving her head from side to side was her using her listening skills to investigate her surroundings. It was some excellent example footage, even if you did not realize right away what year were catching but because there was conversation and other noises in the background at different levels of volume (perhaps in distance too) as well as your voice which was closer she was listening on one side and then twisting around to hear with her other ear and then turning back so that she could then determine from that same ear the difference in the sounds when she was facing forward. Even human children without vision will do something similar and its a ways to get a more dimensional picture of what is around you instead of thinking the sounds are all coming from the same place. You can think of it as the difference between look at the 3d world we live in rather than a 2d world where everyone and everything is flatten like on a picture. That is why when you are working with them it's important to make some noise, whether it's just conversation to them or to others or to yourself, shuffling your feet, tapping parts ot the structures or furnishings and so on so they hear the movement. I am not sure how good humans are at doing this but clind animals such as monkeys, dogs, cats and to some extent squirrels and rabbits can be contained is a small area of a room and introduced to it through should such as people making some noise as they move around, what certain things sound like when tapped or banged into, the size of the areas by talking as your moving around and making noise with your feet. If you do this they are much better oriented to a room when let out of their confinement and into the greater space. They still have to move from area to area to learn things by touch but they usually have a good aide of where at least bigger objects are as they have already done some mapping by sound. Having a monkey leave a kennel in one corner of the room and immediately head for a set of climbing bars on the other side of the room so they can get 'up to a safe place' before you can even pick them up and take them around to introduce them to things is a much better way of them learning to cope since, as time goes by, there may not be humans around to introduce them to new spaces all the time. What can be done with hearing can be pretty amazing when its needed to also take over for sight. Sadly in humans its not always as good as it is in most animals that are a step ahead as they are born to rely on all their sense to a much greater degree. Is there no way to put fencing in that the bandits could not reach through and pull a leg or tail through in a fight at least on the sides of the enclosure teh bandits could get to. I know that would not be idea on the sides where you want them to be able to interact with potential new moms and other monkeys but the bandits don't get to them from that side do they? More like a mesh screening on the walls that the bandits come up to - so that they could still climb on the fencing on the inside, and yes the bandits could sitt scale the mesh I am sure but wire mesh with 1/8th in opening or even smaller would make it nearly impossible for any part of a baby to be pulled through or bitten through. They could still see through it and of course it would allow air through but maybe save a few babies from same nasty bites. Do you have much chance to observer babies as they age out in the troop? Have you noticed if great friends in infancy equates to still being so in the juvenile years and, at least with the females, and does it continues on to adulthood or does troop ranking sometimes end up separating friend or when there is a clearer delineation between males and females in adulthood and the friendships were of mixed gender does this server to separate them at this point? At the rate Vera is going she may almost be too old to need a foster mom and the way she is rejecting them that may be what happens. It's interesting that the adult females have to know by now that if the enclosure opens up there is a baby inside and if you feel like a mom you better get in there and they are aren't gathering around even to take a look at here. Can she manage without a foster but just many juvenile friends or is there a risk that the adults won'r accept her even if the juveniles have? Maybe is she gets a few good juvenile friends and they are cool with the moms maybe she will be. Maybe Vera is just into being emancipated at a young age and thinks there is no need for a mother figure in her life. Makes you wonder what really did happen to her that she rejects mother to such an extent.
I was curious about the interaction between two of the monkeys. They were touching lips and tongues. In humans, we would call this kissing. But what is the nature of the behavior? What is it intended to say or convey?
Kyle, I was reading through the pet ads online a few days ago and someone was trying to regime 4 yo Male vervet. He had been defanged and neutered. They listed him as needing a large enclosure for himself only because he had a nasty disposition. I was thinking yes, I wonder why. I felt so bad for the poor guy. I would get him if I could ship him off to y'all there but, I doubt if I could swing the cost or get the permits for it. I left a comment for the person of what I thought of them, that's all I could do.
Poor Vera all she wants is loved. Is she gonna be the 1st adopted by a group of juveniles? Isn't that how the apocolypse starts? I hope she finds a momma soon.
I'm so confused. I'm sorry you guys. I wait anxiously for the video on Fridays (that extra day seems like forever lol) and I'm a huge fan of this channel. No one will recognize me tho because I don't make any comments etc. I just watch the videos and enjoy watching kyle tell the story but I feel like I've been left in the dark!!! Lol I started today's video earlier but got side tracked and when things settled back down and I started watching it again I noticed a conversation going on the left side of the video and realized people were talking about the video etc. I tried to join in but didn't know how. And when I started reading the comments someone said something about the premiere to something???? So I'm just really confused as to what all is going on???? There was obviously a live chat. How did we find out about that? And the premier to.......?? How was that announced??
Ok pam...if you subscribe to ververt forest on you tube and u ring the bell so they will notify you like 12 hrs in advance there will be a premiere at 0930 EST 🇺🇸 on Fri a.m.....then log on too the vid a min or two before 0930...and either text like on your phone or puter....hope this helps
Yea looks like skrow is the way to go with Vera. Poor little girl. I thought she was never going to integrate with a troup. This look like some good signs. What are you going to do about the parasites on the monkey in sickbay? Won't all the monkeys become infested?
Hey Ky;le, I was wondering why you allow young males into the baby enclosure. Is it to let them become fami;liar with troop members. Do the young males like to play with the babies?
Could someone please send me a link to the next episode, 22, I am going crazy not knowing what happened to Vera and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks in advance
Katherine Morgan hi Katherine, the show is a weekly episodic, meaning one episode comes out per week, if you subscribe to the channel you will always be update on the latest episodes. Also you can check the playlists on the channel to see if you’ve missed any. I release a new episode on Friday every week. Episode 21 is the most recent episode, episode 22 will be out on Friday. ✌️
Baby Lola from Cambodia, part of the Amari Group if I'm not mistaken has a horrible arm injury from a dog bite supposedly but I'm noticing how some of the VO's will actually harm the babies in order to get good ratings and views. It is truly disgusting. But baby Lola has no use of her arm and there's bone actually showing. It's been 6 or 7 days. I see this monkey with the cast and cannot help but wish that baby Lola could be helped by you guys. I have no clue how far away you are from her or anything like that but she won't be helped where she is just recorded 24/7 and no help given to her. It's so sad it makes my heart 💔😭
I always look forward to these videos. Everyone there does a amazing job taking care of these guys!!! I was curious if they are sterilized when they come in?
Gosh there is a huge need for education in the SA school system regarding shooting small animals with pellet guns. The children need to view videos on what happens to the babies and what they go through i.e blindness, brain damage and suffering to death. It’s a difficult lesson to teach.
When a banner pops-up, do we leave it so it will count as a $ maker for the channel? How long does it need to be there? I watch / let play the ads, but want information on the banners also.
I wish I had a million dollars to help build facilities like a kitchen with hot water and a giant dish washer, and industrial size washer and dryer. It would make it a lot easier for the staff and volunteers to wash and sterilize everything. I am just dreaming of being able to donate that much money! There are those who can help but don't, which breaks my heart. Wish I was a millionaire I would totally help as much as I could.
'Your' monkey community seems much more peaceful than the Cambodian one(s) but when that little one was so badly injured that she had to have her leg amputated, i thought again.. The babies are feral , all are of them are, and you didn't share any filming of conflict . so i'm wondering , do you think you monkey communities are more peaceful? Cuddie's brain damage, sounds like Frontal lobe damage at least. Does anyone from the troop help her, will she tolerate assistance? At least she's in a community...

HI. me again.
When the foster moms and their adopted child are ready to go out, how does the child know to get on her belly so they can leave?
instinct and we dont let them out till they do
@@VervetMonkey Thanks for the reply. I figured it was instinct, either that or Mom whispered "Sweetie, it's time to go...let's go see your family!"
Another Stephanie form
Australia hahaha damn woman you must have some loot
I was curious about the interaction between two of the monkeys. They were touching lips and tongues. In humans, we would call this kissing. But what is the nature of the behavior? What is it intended to say or convey?
Will that foster mom who is taking the blind baby know how to care for her and will she figure it out?
Kyle, I was reading through the pet ads online a few days ago and someone was trying to regime 4 yo Male vervet. He had been defanged and neutered. They listed him as needing a large enclosure for himself only because he had a nasty disposition. I was thinking yes, I wonder why. I felt so bad for the poor guy. I would get him if I could ship him off to y'all there but, I doubt if I could swing the cost or get the permits for it. I left a comment for the person of what I thought of them, that's all I could do.
Ugh, that sucks. Where do you live that you saw this ad so casually posted?
Poor Vera all she wants is loved. Is she gonna be the 1st adopted by a group of juveniles? Isn't that how the apocolypse starts? I hope she finds a momma soon.
Heather Longacre 😂
I'm so JEALOUS lol I wanna play with monkeys too
Oh one more thing where do you get your surrogate mothers from were they once babies in your compound?
❤️🐒❤️🥰
I am wondering why certain babies seem more prone to thrush... is it underlying medical issues? Is it very contagious?
nancy j Milner it’s a yeast infection. Their immune system is not developed also could be from antibiotics.
@@Teewriter seems like we have had it more this season...
Cuddy has one over on Derek Zoolander....at least she can hang a Louie.
I do hope vera finds a mommy
This is cool
Glad to see you help the monkeys . You need to shave .you have a handsome face. Keep up the great work dude.
Yea looks like skrow is the way to go with Vera. Poor little girl. I thought she was never going to integrate with a troup. This look like some good signs. What are you going to do about the parasites on the monkey in sickbay? Won't all the monkeys become infested?
I asked this question before now with the adoptive mom's not lactating what benefits do the babies get from them? Very curious
They learn how to live in a troop
How do they survive if they are blind in the bigger enclosure?
they have a special enclosure
Wish I could volunteer to take care off the babies. But I’m too old I think
we never to old
Vervet Monkey Foundation how does one get from retirement in Missouri to you?
it would have to be air travel
Every time Felicia leaves the intro enclosure, does someone say “Bye, Felicia”?
Dude, yes lol! That's exactly who she's named after. We also had a Deebo but he passed away.
how much longer with Django have to wear the cast?
Do the babies you've released seem to remember you all? Or do they become "wild" pretty quick?
I think I remember Kyle saying some of them remember if they keep seeing the people who used to care for them.
I'm just curious why is there so much thrush in your compound? I love watching your babies oh how I would love to care for one there so sweet ❤️
We all have Thrus
We all have Thrus
We all have Thrus
We all have Thrus
We all have Thrus
16:35 ...... 18:10 .......💙
Goddamn kids with pellet guns.
When does Django's cast come off?
How do blind monkeys survive
Hey Ky;le, I was wondering why you allow young males into the baby enclosure.
Is it to let them become fami;liar with troop members. Do the young males like to play with the babies?
What about artists painting pictures of monkeys with names and sell them or auction them to help support you? Just an idea 💡
if we could only find a good artist
What or who are the bandits?
I always look forward to these videos. Everyone there does a amazing job taking care of these guys!!! I was curious if they are sterilized when they come in?
Males only are vesectomized at around 1 and half to 2 years of age.
@@kiki29073 Thank u for answering 😀
Thanks very much. All the males are vasectomize at 2.5 years of age.
They're called BANDITS for what reason?
sounds better than the fairies
Gosh there is a huge need for education in the SA school system regarding shooting small animals with pellet guns. The children need to view videos on what happens to the babies and what they go through i.e blindness, brain damage and suffering to death. It’s a difficult lesson to teach.
Im afraid its mostly the adults
She’s crying because lonely
Have you ever have a male that wants to be a dad to a baby ??
When a banner pops-up, do we leave it so it will count as a $ maker for the channel? How long does it need to be there? I watch / let play the ads, but want information on the banners also.
Banners only count if ya click on em, otherwise I don't think they do anything, but I'm not 100% sure.
@@VervetMonkey Well then, I will starting click them for the foundation.
Kale what can I do to get a shout out buddy
I wish I had a million dollars to help build facilities like a kitchen with hot water and a giant dish washer, and industrial size washer and dryer. It would make it a lot easier for the staff and volunteers to wash and sterilize everything. I am just dreaming of being able to donate that much money! There are those who can help but don't, which breaks my heart. Wish I was a millionaire I would totally help as much as I could.
What episode did trisha come in ?
not sure - will take awhile to go through all the videos'
@@VervetMonkey ok thank you . Do you know which season , maybe
@@VervetMonkey ill look , you guys are so busy. I just thought you might remember. Thank you
Por favor traducirlo en español
'Your' monkey community seems much more peaceful than the Cambodian one(s) but when that little one was so badly injured that she had to have her leg amputated, i thought again.. The babies are feral , all are of them are, and you didn't share any filming of conflict . so i'm wondering , do you think you monkey communities are more peaceful?
Cuddie's brain damage, sounds like Frontal lobe damage at least. Does anyone from the troop help her, will she tolerate assistance? At least she's in a community...
Is there a place. To go see from ,num'1. ¡My$ays
Sorry I m looking for ha'
