No reading into it.....that little baboon knew and wanted to comfort you guys....bless your hearts...I’m so sorry....God Bless and keep you all and your furry charges you care for...💔
Vervet Monkey Foundation i wish i could donate but at this time im getting back on my feet after a car accident and being out of work for almost a yr. However here soon hope to be getting back to work and id love to help maby only $5 a month something like that im a single mom now but i figure if everyone just gave $5 imagine what could be done for these babies. There's something in their eyes that touches my heart and very soul. I feel such a connection i cant explain it it must be in our DNA for sure lol.
April London I feel the same connection! And as for $5 a month, you’re exactly right, even that especially if everyone subscribed donated $5 a month, that would make a huge difference and would basically allow us to never need financial help again! Thank you for watching!
You're definitely weren't reading into it. Animals frequently know when you're grieving. My cat stayed with me after my other cat died in a traumatic way. She was still a kitten but barely left my side. I can imagine a baboon has an even greater understanding of grief with their mental capacity. I know this was three years ago, but thank you for sharing this with us.
It's so sad when we lose animals.. babies especially... They crash so quickly... So proud of you guys for all the hard work you put into these amazing creatures...♥️♥️♥️♥️.
I just watched this older video. Beautiful souls here 🫶 One of the stories that touched my heart was about the baboon and also, Holly getting a second chance at motherhood to 2 babies after loosing her first 💞 Then permanently, Nora became her permanent daughter. How very healing and joyful it must have been for her and even you all who were grieving 🙏🐒
I could watch your channel 24/7 bcos you don't torture and abuse the monkeys. So sad how alot of the other channels exploit these beautiful creatures. Thank you for very informative and awesome videos!
It's so wonderful to see that there are still people who give everything to help these amazing animals. I've been working in Spanish animal welfare for many years, seeing and experiencing so much that has influenced my whole life and mind. Sometimes I think that I can not take it anymore and then I look into the eyes of our dogs and know that I can and must! Every life is lovable and uniquely wonderful and I do not regret a second. You are wonderful people and your work is characterized by so much love for these monkeys .Thanks to you all, I'm really looking forward to the next episodes. Rest in Peace little ButterBean.
Menoah thank you for all your hard work, I know it can get exhausting, everyone here goes through it, especially when it seems like there is so little support around you. But there are people all over the world who value the work you do and it’s great to hear that you have the care and compassion for the animals that do need you. Thank you for watching the show and I hope to see you around here more often. 🙂✌️
Sorry for your loss too. It's very hard to see animals in your care die. I had a dog that I was very close with and I loved him so much. He died aged 16 beside me one early morning on Thursday, 22nd March. It was the saddest day in my life.
That’s was the saddest story I’ve heard from you god gifted people so sorry butter bean didn’t make but he did have you guys that loved and comforted him while he passed. Thank you all for loving these animals
Animals are more perceptive than most of us give them credit for. My cats do the same thing when I am down...they try to reassure and comfort me. Gotta love 'em!
In humans they call that a Sucking Chest Wound & you're right, there's not much of anything you can do... Just to know that you did your best & that little baby knew it was loved right to the end! 😔💖
Animals actually know before we do. They have a higher sense of perception of sensing when something is wrong with someone. Just like the can detect when something is wrong with a human and when a woman is pregnant before she even knows herself.
I absolutely believe the baboon felt your pain. That those comforting hugs weren't just good timing. All of you at the foundation and that little baboon have great empathy. Some of my favorite stories about primates surprising us with their social side are about baboons. First is that some groups are raising wolves and feral dogs. I think adopting the children of a creature that can eat your children is amazing. I don't think the baboons were thinking "I can train this thing as a tool to help me.", that just helps this behavior continue. I think it started with "Oh my goodness that's puppy. That's cute puppy. I want that puppy." The other is about how a group of baboons lost all their most violent members when they caught a human disease from fighting over scraps from a restaurant. A new culture emerged in the group. The all-remaining males that were left were the more laid back, didn't like fighting and now they we finally able to relax around each other, show their bellies and even groom each other. These were pro-social behaviors never seen before in the male baboons and these behaviors and attitudes were passed on to the next generations. So basically they have a changeable culture like humans.
Seen this so many times but it never gets old. Kyle did some great presentation and narration. Your videos now are also superb - just a different style. Both are great and it's lovely to watch Kyle again. He has a very humane, expressive demeanour. X
I do dog rescue here in the states and when one passes away it is devastating but we have to keep going to save the rest so I totally understand this. Thank you so much for all you do for these beautiful little creatures.
I'm so sorry for the loss. I know that not every traumatized and injured baby can be saved, and you've all worked so hard make sure the other babies survived, but it was still so heartbreaking to see. But at least he had great people to love and care for him in the end. Also, I have no doubt that the baby baboon sensed your sadness and was comforting you. There are so many documented cases of animals communicating with, caring for, protecting, grieving for, and even empathizing with those of other species. And I try to never doubt an animal's emotional capacity.
Kyle you are one heck of a story teller! I can feel ALL the emotions coming through my laptop. Well Done VMF & RIP 😰 Butter Bean we will miss you. Safe travels my little one. 🐒
I am so sorry the little one died, but at the same time I'm so pleased he was with VERVET and not with these vial people who hurt these little ones,I think the little baboon new and felt your upset , and was comforting you both, such a beautiful spirt.💜 thankyou for all the love you give the little ones 💖
Ahhhh man Kiel... My heart sunk when you told the story of baby monkie expiring and not breathing. I got emotional brother, maybe one day I can go and volunteer some time of mine and help you guys out. Namaste
Kyle, you are a true hero to these magnificent creatures. This story had me in tears of utter despair for Butter-Bean, yet in AWE of the baboon's ability to empathize with you. Your work has a profound significance...thank you.
Aww, it's such a somber feeling to hear of little Butter bean's passing. Unfortunately death is a part of life. It had to cut so deep watching him struggle. Yet, by God's amazing grace, a baboon of all comforters was sent to help ease the sorrow. Humans fail to give credit to how observant animals truly are. Butter Bean's short life leaves a beautiful imprint in enriching our lives. You ALL are so loved!!!!
Im watching the years of videos i missed before i was recommended your channel. Priceless - the sadness of the baby that died, the baboons reaction, and the little guys face as he hangs on while the femoles check out his nether regions. 😅
On the past 6 months I've watched these monkeys from all over the world get injured and died and I never thought I could feel sad and cry on the internet about something so far away that I had nothing that I could do about but it is true feelings that brings us all together that makes us feel good about but there is still good in this world and people do have empathy towards animals that we care about you're a good person Kyle I hope this makes you stronger in life.I think it is up too you keep up all the good work all you guys are doing a phenomenal job and I don't think I could do all of that type of work I would like to hold my little baby monkeys that's very cool but I don't think I could do all of what you guys do maybe 80% of it keep up the good work thank you for everything you do for helping these little monkeys out
What a great-looking medical area! The monkeys are so fortunate to have a fully-stocked area for them. The VMF has planned and implemented it well. Poor little Idris. But an amazing improvement in them both. Thanks for sharing this video.
swamp5050 I’m so glad you found us too! Thanks for watching. Have you checked out the VLOG entry video that I posted up a couple days ago? I think you might enjoy it. 😊✌️
I just found you today, I'm watching your pass videos! Sorry lil Butter Bean didn't make it and you had to watch, I've been with my pets as they've passed, it's soul crushing to say the least. Don't think I've gotten to the entry you mentioned, but I intend to watch and follow all your video's. I have all due respect for animal conservation organizations such as yours who help and protect animals! BTW, the lil Baboon was beyond cute!!!
This place looks amazing. I wish I could volunteer here. The baboon comforting you all was beautiful! Primates are really fascinating and complicated animals.
Kyle, you are so kind. Just hearing the heartache in your words about Butter Bean made me lose it. Bless you all for all you do to give these little ones a way back to where they are supposed to be. Dillon is my favorite because my oldest son is named Dillon and your descriptions of him are hilarious!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awe! While this vid was heartbreaking, I'm so glad to have been able to experience the beauty of life, death, compassion, & love by watching the sweet little baboon baby's expressions & interactions with y'all. 💕
No judgement, only love and understanding of your loss of ButterBean. I felt it all through you story and comments. You and your staff and volunteers are complete angels that I love and appreciate every single day. And although I know you won’t and cannot comment on the situation, and completely respect you for that, I need to say that I question the vet due to Butter Bean’s small stature. It makes me sad. No need to respond. I love your dedication and work. In my mind and heart, you weren’t looking too far into the baboon’s reaction. It was completely real.
I love how you share the stories. I'm so sorry about Butter bean, at least he had love, and he wasn't by himself. He was with people who loved him. Human or animal no one should pass alone. The story about the 2 babies and Holly coming in and holding those babies with all that love touched my heart. How could I not feel the baby Baboon love & understanding of what you all were feeling. What a blessing. 😢😢😢this was some sad yet happy tears. Thank you so much for sharing.
So so sorry for the loss of precious butter bean but at least he was surrounded with love from you guys. I absolutely believe the wee baboon felt your sadness along with his own. I'm so happy for the babies and their new mama's. Thanks for sharing and all the great work you guys do!!
Merlin is doing so well now & has improved so much...Good job Timmy !! Yay !! So sad to hear this about Butterbean😪...Thank you to the VMF for making Butterbean's last moments in his life comfortable & filled with love....Wow, Acorn is huge!! Nice job Holly hugging Nora & Shemesh & lip-smacking !! Sweet!! Dylan is just like a toddler, messy & with a dirty face!! LOL Thank you for another awesome video & for sharing it with us!! 💞Vivi💞
I'm a monkey video addict, and the scene with Holly working her charms on the two babies is amazing. She has "assertive love." She knew just how hard to push them into hugging. So sweet.
Oh no I'm so sorry that Butter Bean passed away but I am thankful that he experienced the love and care u all showed him in that few days of his life.😢😢
First allow me to send my deepest sympathies to you all for your devastating loss. No Kyle you weren't reading to much into the demeanor of the baboon. Animals feel and sense a great deal. You were so right in sending it's feelings. It was so sweet the love it showed you both!
Im so sorry. It is so apparent how much u love these animals. Why you care for them and do what you do. So sorry for the loss, but God blessed u to keep moving forward. You, your staff, all the beautiful creatures in your care, are in my prayers. We affect people in ways u cant possibly imagine at times. You are special, u are also affecting these monkeys... you are blessed.
You are also absolutely right about your little baboon friend...his eyes spoke volumes 💗 When humans cry it must seem so visceral and similar to how they mourn. Beautiful sentient beings 💖
I live in Norton VA just want to say I feel so proud this week about the information able to pass on while I was in the hospital this past 2 weeks and nearly died ( well I actually did on or about about April 23,2018. That’s not what made me feel better though I was finally well enough to have my iPad and watch episodes I had missed which I missed so much I did not realize at this time how sick I really was, well there I was around 2:00am and one of my nurses had came in to check my vitals an my nurse heard one of the babies calling to their mother and my nurse said oh I love those baby monies and have always wanted one I said no that’s not right because these babies are taken from their mothers in a very cruel way I explained a few of the ways and explained about your foundation and how your foundation works I wrote down all the information I could find on you sites. I went on to explainable how many adult orangutans are killed for 1 baby. Well I actually changed his mind on the fact the he wanted a Vervet Monkey or any baby monkey so I was very proud of the information and knowledge I was able to pass on due to your foundation. I also made sure I told him about how people can volunteer to help I wasn’t sure on how a lot of that part of the foundation worked..I mentioned that someone with a medical background might make a good volunteer this os where my story ends..I have recovered from deaths door (literally). All I can hope is that in my own near death might have saved one of theses ever so precious babies I hope it helps at least one Vervet Monkey
Thank you, that is an incredible story and it's amazing to hear that we were on your mind at such a difficult time. Sharing, caring and educating is what its all about and your love and guidance will definitely help the monkeys. I hope you continue to feel better and better each day. :)
7:31 am I hearing things or projecting what I wanted to hear?! But I heard a soothing “I’ve got you” after he said the babies calmed down after they realized that she wasn’t going to eat their little faces.
Another amazing video , but this one gave me a strange feeling ,, fire and water in one dish , heartbreaking & heartwarming video ,,,, RIP baby ,,, and what a sweet moment when babies find out the something that they don't want , exactly is the samething that they need , indeed they find out that the monster is the angel , and then .....thousands of thanks for sharing this moments with us ,,, good luck guys , do enjoy of your job , you've the best one
Hello to NewYork's Moon ,, thank you my friend , I'm doing well ,,I hope NYC'MOON be beaming as always ,, as always glad to see you ,, as always seeing your comment made my day ,, as always it's kind of you about my comment ,, as always I wish you have a great weekend ,, as always Vivi
I am so sorry for your loss with butter beans I know you guys love all of those little monkeys you guys are heroes in my eyes love you have for these little creatures I wish I could be over there to help unfortunately I am in America way far away

I burst into tears with that little baboon. What a sweetie.
Nora lip smacking back… oh, be still my heart.😍
You did your best for little Butter Bean; Animals seem to know when humans are sad, and the way that baby Baboon hugged you was just what you needed.
I am so sorry for your loss...at least he didn't die alone and was surrounded by loving caregivers cradling him.

My eyes are wet and a lump in my throat for the loss of butter bean. Animals sense sadness vibes and it was so lovely to see the baboon show empathy.
That baboon baby is so beautiful, you can so readily see his soul in his eyes. What a fantastic story you shared.
MadHouse736 * I completely agree. And thank you for the compliment, I’m glad you’re enjoying the show.

Yes. Baby baboon is very loveing & affectionate. They remind me of dogs in that they can Sense the environment. Vetvets are more aloof.
msfigy such a true observation, vervets are way more aloof, they remind me more of nervous cats with severe ADD
May God bless you and these beautiful innocent animals 🐒🙏
JUST FOUND THIS CHANNEL, SO DIFFERENT!! YOU ARE AMAZING HOW YOU HANDLE THE MONKEYS! I SURE DO ENJOY YOUR CHANNEL!
07:10 lol..for a bit there it looked like Holly was going to have to be a foster mother to twins!!
Your sharing is so precious! That baboon is adorable!
This place looks amazing. I wish I could volunteer here. The baboon comforting you all was beautiful! Primates are really fascinating and complicated animals.
Sad but I too could see the calmness he was communicating to you 2.

I'm a monkey video addict, and the scene with Holly working her charms on the two babies is amazing. She has "assertive love." She knew just how hard to push them into hugging. So sweet.
Im so sorry about the loss of the baby monkey. You are a kind and beautiful man. Thank you for all that you do. Bless you.
Oh no I'm so sorry that Butter Bean passed away but I am thankful that he experienced the love and care u all showed him in that few days of his life.😢😢
You guys are amazing!
Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the show. :)
You all did such good work for Butterbean - I know your hearts are aching - sending much love to all of you.
absolutely love these videos...4th time watching
First allow me to send my deepest sympathies to you all for your devastating loss.
No Kyle you weren't reading to much into the demeanor of the baboon. Animals feel and sense a great deal. You were so right in sending it's feelings. It was so sweet the love it showed you both!
Rip baby butter bean 💔 i was rooting for you and now you’re in a better place.
That baby baboon is so amazing
Eyes are stinging listening about a baby butter bean.😢 That lil baboon knew what was going on. He felt bad right alone with you guy's. ❤
You are also absolutely right about your little baboon friend...his eyes spoke volumes 💗 When humans cry it must seem so visceral and similar to how they mourn. Beautiful sentient beings 💖
Aww holly did so good with those two. They were so adorable holding on to eachother so tight.
All I can hope is that in my own near death might have saved one of theses ever so precious babies
I hope it helps at least one Vervet Monkey
Thank you, that is an incredible story and it's amazing to hear that we were on your mind at such a difficult time. Sharing, caring and educating is what its all about and your love and guidance will definitely help the monkeys. I hope you continue to feel better and better each day. :)
Very cute babies love to play with their friends. Thank you for sharing Bless you all love this beautiful animals
