I have a ton of tape emulator plugins, including Waves's J37, but this is something different. Arturia always goes further and deeper than most others.
it's by far my new favorite with the one made by Softube that was more modern and subtle, i also have the include with Reason Studio and there not compet with this J37 it's a marvelous plug in.
not neutral but terribly sweet and efficient when you have some sound that have a bit of sterile midrange and too much high frequency, this thing give a little massage to all the harshness of my Rode NT2-A take same for my AKG C 451 B and also some VST that are a bit to bright and if some of the musician i meet want a Simon & Garfunkel or Beatles David Bowie vibes, this thing deliver a lot behind a Trident EQ or even a Pulltech emulation.
@d-zone, really, because I only have 3 three effects that i got for free, and they took off one hundred dollars of my price. Also it was on a discount on my account yesterday.
@@joshuasmith9499 Not sure which part was unclear. I have the FX Collection 5 and V Collection X, and they're "offering" me $50 off....Free to new customers, so loyalty does not pay!
I would love to see Arturia making creative plugins not something that has been made a thousand times! Just make plugins that we actually want to use not already have!
@@kirkegodfrey414 of course I know them, cold fire is a distortion what’s so special? Fragments is cool but granular plugins is also nothing new or groundbreaking special 😅
So, Craig tells me I'm out of my mind? Er... Not everybody is a paid producer / sound engineer. Not in 299 years that I am going to pay for FX, which comes free with Reaper. Thanks, but no thanks.
The vast majority of listeners listen on their phones or completely unbalanced headphones usually of compressed to hell audio streams, I'm sure they don't give a hoot if this plugin was used. Save your money, go buy yourself dinner.
Yes indeed make shitty music for shitty deaf listeners cause they wont know better anyway, great advice. Alternatively you can try to push the art forward

overpriced for those of us who bought the last bundle IMO
I may be wrong ,but isn't it free or at a heavy discount for you.
@@joshuasmith9499 NOPE, hence my comment

Arturia makes the very best plug-ins for audio curmudgeons!

have you looked at their plugs like ColdFire, Fragments etc? and their own delays like eternity? Brilliant and REALLY useful

If we all had that attitude we may as well just stop producing music completely.
