@@ACommentFromUA-cam honest answer bowling balls are tools. I don’t miss those balls because I have plenty of tools that get the job done. I signed with SPI because I believe them to the best for me and my channel
I feel like the Night Road is pretty sensitive to oil..you need to find the friction in order to make it work..looks like a late block ball for me when the lanes are a bit drier and u still need a clean front with enough hook in the back end..
It seemed more like speed management for Luis. The double he threw he was much slower. But I also agree that the axis rotation is what was making it so speed sensitive. Awesome video tho!
Come on Luis, you gotta know by now what to do when the ball doesn’t hook without changing balls haha. U know all the numbers on every ball…but… better luck next time! Fun video for sure. Thx to both of you guys for the entertainment
I actually really really liked this !!! .. You need to do more like this Darren! .. it shows you just how bad people like me are compared to you, and, a lot of what we do wrong (ie: throwing the ball in the wrong place, with wrong rotation, etc..) .. this actually helps me bunches. And so cool to show just how good people like you are. There's a reason why you are a "PRO", and it totally shows! .. it is like me playing golf with Tiger Woods. I am a very good Amateur player, but I can't even hold Tiger's sports drink. HUGE difference between even "good" Amateurs and the guys that do these things for a living at the top of the ladder. It is really fun to watch too. And Jessie, this shows just how good YOU are. You're pretty damn good yourself!
I don't think you response it completely true. Have you ever heard of Tom Smallwood? He was an amateur until he got laid off from his auto worker job and took a chance on the PBA and won and then joined the tour. This guy Luis Napoles is not a great bowler. If you watch his release really close he never gets behind the ball like Darren does, his release is no better than lower average league bowlers in my opinion. I've bowled with Pro's in Japan and beaten them in a Pro Am but not in a pro tournament, I would get my @ss handed to me. I have beaten Japanese Pros in tournaments in Japan mostly on base where I know the lanes really well but they are probably not higher lever Pros either. I'm a youth coach in Everett, Wa and I know there's several high schoolers in our Saturday league that throw the ball as good or better than Darren. I won't be surprised if this one kid in our youth program ends up on tour in a few years, he's really really good.
@@dougmiwako - Oh, I agree there are some really good amateurs out there. However, for every 1 of them there are 1000's of me. I will never be a great bowler, and certainly not of pro caliber. But it takes even a great amateur player to be as good as a professional. The same is true in golf. I am a very very good amateur player, but I still don't compare with the pro's. I know, I have played with some of them. Even though I hold course records at a couple of my local courses, I still cannot hold a candle to pro players. They are simply on another level. That doesn't mean there are a few great amateurs out there. Look at Bobby Jones, perhaps the greatest amateur golfer of all time and one of the greatest players of all time, in general. There are those people like that. But for every Bobby Jones there literally millions of me, who are great amateur players but could still never measure up to THAT level of play. I probably could have if I had begun when I was 3, like Tiger Woods, but I didn't start until I was 30. He had 3 decades head start on me. There is also the passion and dedication factor in it all. I had the passion and dedication to become a pro, just started too late. It takes a tremendous amount of passion and dedication to rise to the level that people like Darren perform at. Just ask him, he has spent thousands and thousands of hours practicing, studying, thinking, rehearsing, competing. Very difficult to rise to that level without doing so, as your competitors ARE doing so.
Bro, do you ask those who are working at the bowling alley to turn off the music they play so you can record? Every time I’m bowling and trying to record they always have music playing.. kind of annoying.
When the lanes get like this I just slow hook it a little, by holding the ball lower in my stance, and it really helps me. I love the urethane burnt house shot imo
Darren, my name is Gabriel. I love your videos. I'm a vegas local, I've been bowling for 2 months and would love to bowl against you in a video!!! How can I make that happen my friend?
My dad bowled back in the day in reno and different places as a pro am bowler, and so i grew up bowling all the time. now i beat him just about every time.. but i do need a new ball lol
is the original Zen entry level i had someone tell me to buy ether the original pearl Zen or the Hyped solid are these true entry level from 1 of the storm brands
Let me get some of this action. I’m in Vegas and bowl all over. Lefty. I’ll take a purple ball if/when I win 😂 And you always have good content. High level entertainment on this channel. I appreciate it.
Great vid! Subbed to both channels and it's great to see the friendly competition. Learn a lot from both channels and this was a fun interaction. Keep up the great content! Sign tear and un-sub! Had me rolling 😂
Darren I watch your videos everyday and they have been a lot of help to my bowling game. I am a total and permanently disabled veteran. I do a bowling league on Friday nights in my city. I don’t have a ball drilled for me all my balls are used that I have found on Facebook. But anyways enough about me. Your videos have inspired me never to give up on what makes you feel good in life. I actually just bowled my first 600 series this past Friday night. Hopefully someday I will find a ball for myself. Don’t get me wrong the used balls I’ve found have been ok. Well keep up with the tangy vibe man and the sloppier the better. Good luck with all your future bowling tournaments and keep the great content coming. Oh and for all of those watching click that subscribe button and turn on that notification bell. The tang stang is coming and he’s running on all cylinders. Good luck and god bless tang nation.
Just some constructive criticism. Overall love the video and the idea, but I think having the score live up on the screen or up on the screen for a few seconds after each frame, would make the video not only easier to follow, but certainly add some production value to it. Yes it would add time needed to edit, but just a thought on how to upgrade and differentiate your content. Also would be cool for you to keep your record and show it at the start of the vids, if you're going to continue with the Bowling Challenge content series. Keep up the good work regardless!
This is why both channels are blowing up. No editing or fake games. Actually is helpful in showing the limitations of the Night Road.
2handers + Urethane + House Shot = TIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT down lane lol
The collab we’ve been waiting for! Good looking out on this one Jesse! 220 Avg bowler next!
+1 for 220 avg
+2 for 220 avg
Don't worry. He's getting this smoke
@@DarrenTang play 2 handed with 220 average bowler
But spares must be made with the 20lb ball lol
I love that Darren just continued saying different incorrect pronunciations of Luis’ name😂😂
Yeah, and there's still plenty of ways to mispronounce Louis Nipples' name for the rematch.
jeez I threw the ball terrible but had lots off fun doing this! Def need a re match!
Damn! Spoil alert!
Your honest answer, do you miss the jackal ghost and venom shock some?
@@ACommentFromUA-cam honest answer bowling balls are tools. I don’t miss those balls because I have plenty of tools that get the job done. I signed with SPI because I believe them to the best for me and my channel
2 of my favorite bowlers against each other! Heck of a video. Darren should do a bracket of the losers for an ultimate rematch!
Do an after lesson rematch.
Jesse editing the crowd gasp on the sign tear was perfect lol had me crying 😂😂
Darren, you guys on tour are amazing. The pressure on The Amateur must have been immense!!! The [ 7-10] in pocket was insane.
I was so excited when I seen this match up. I had to pull over and watch this asap. 2 of my favorite bowlers.
were you driving at the time lol
When the notification came on during my drive I was so excited 🤩
can’t believe luis didn’t shoot 279 like he does in every one of his videos🙄
This is the comment on the week on the internet!!! After watching this o thought this guy must bowl dozens of games to make his videos
Exactly right
Love seeing Luis on the channel. Great vid!
LOVE IT! Glad you guys collab'd! Nicely done.

This is way funnier than I anticipated. Darren brought out Lou's Statler to compliment his Waldorf.
NOW THIS IS THE MATCHUP I WAS WAITING FOR!!!
AND STFU ABOUT THE POKEMON CARDS!! i knew i shouldnt have compared that electrify GO to it. god-mfing dammit
Continue this Darren! This is a really interesting and love the challenge videos!
2:27 Me walking after the gym for the first time
This was the FANTASY MATCH ‼️ I WANTED TO SEE‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥
You got some weird fantasies man…
IM SO GLAD YOU GOT NAPOLES ON! Hes non stop talking about you and wanting to get similar subs to yours
Who wouldn't want to get paid more per video? Isn't that the idea why people do this in the first place?
It seemed more like speed management for Luis. The double he threw he was much slower. But I also agree that the axis rotation is what was making it so speed sensitive. Awesome video tho!
His axis rotation was definitely having the ball push past the break point
I like how all the UA-cam bowlers are having friendly matches. Great sportsmanship!
Lois Napolis, Luis Naples, Luis Napolish, Love the comedy guys! lol That lane looked like it had some serious hang down lane.
It was so fun to watch! Big fan of you both!
I absolutely love this and you two are my favorite UA-cam bowlers! Pleasant surprise. I can’t wait to see more of these.
I just started bowling and I can’t stop watching you , I love you alrwady bro keep it up , ur energy is amazing
I opened UA-cam and instead of seeing a million shorts I actually got a good recommendation for a UA-cam video. Take my subscription!
Good stuff guys I watch both of you. So cool to see you guys go head to head.
Glad we witnessed 2 great youtubers. LETS GO
That was entertaining. Really good look right here. Nobody acting too big for their britches. Loved it!
I newer to bowling. Can you make a video explaining how axis rotation effects ball motion please!
Come on Luis, you gotta know by now what to do when the ball doesn’t hook without changing balls haha. U know all the numbers on every ball…but…
better luck next time! Fun video for sure. Thx to both of you guys for the entertainment
What a match! I really hate when the ball just doesn't hook
I've seen Luis get a 300 outta the box with a new ball. He is amazing. I love his channel
2 of my favorites! Glad to see you guys together!
How does it need to come off the hand for access rotation? And how does it need to come off the hand for forward ball motion? What's the difference?
Been waiting for this for awhile!
The more I watch you, the funnier you are! Keep on keeping on :D
I have the opposite problem. I have a lot of forward roll naturally and not much axis rotation.
I'm a no thumb bowler and all I can do is get behind the ball. Need to work on getting more axis rotation
Wait so you want more or less axis rotation for carry down? In general

I love how entertaining I find this
Awesome...hope more content like this..
Yo! It’s good to see Luis on the channel
Oh that guy. About time someone humbled him.
That was fun! It’s great to see you both going at it… Luis Naples 😅: Can’t wait to see the rematch!
Hey I know that random guy Chris @6:24! Awesome fella. Bowled Kansas city open with him!
Its awesome to see you 2 bowling together
this was a fun vid. Thanks to all involved
This is like when your favorite tv shows cross over!
"woohoo" that shot is so underrated 😂🔥🔥🔥
This was an AWESOME video! Great idea to do some collaborative videos with other great bowling contributors on the UA-cam scene! That was fun.
Finally!
And thank you...BOTH!
Loved this collab between 2 bowlers I watch! Rematch pls
Yessss, been waiting for this collab
Fun video. What town and house are you bowling at? It would be fun to do an episode.
Bro, do you ask those who are working at the bowling alley to turn off the music they play so you can record? Every time I’m bowling and trying to record they always have music playing.. kind of annoying.
I now completely understand the difference between axis rotation and ball roll. Thanks
This is pure comedy.
This here is the best!!!!! I love both of you!!!!
You guys are two I watch the most on UA-cam what a great video. Well played guys now we need to know what you won.
Omg, that was funny to watch. Felt like Saturday night league!
@LuisNapoles What’s with the wonky back swing? It’s like your a glitchy video game. Straight back and forward.
You GOTTA do 220 Average Bowler now
"no high rg balls with the urethane carrydown."
Nothing is written in stone. Play what you see my friend
I live in Vegas and would like to pay for lessons, is that something possible to set up?
Wow, that Lewis Naypols guy is pretty good
Awesome to see you guys do a show together!!
It finally happened!!!! Lets goooooooooooooooooooo!
What pattern was that?
What’s wrong with dual angles?
Glad I got see this collab so sick Darren !!!
When the lanes get like this I just slow hook it a little, by holding the ball lower in my stance, and it really helps me. I love the urethane burnt house shot imo
Like seeing those collabs and cool to see you guys having fun!
I just started watching both of you last night 😮 what a coincidence
8:45 I hook at my spares just to FEEL SOMETHING
This is a great series of videos lol.
I watch both channels and really enjoyed the trash talk in this one. Lol
What was the pattern?
Dawg the bm is real, but im here for it. Dtang side note - can you make a vid on how to play in urethane carry down situations? Asking for a friend
Luis is the man!
You Rock Luis!!!! Love your channel.
Darren, my name is Gabriel. I love your videos. I'm a vegas local, I've been bowling for 2 months and would love to bowl against you in a video!!! How can I make that happen my friend?
We need more of these 2 together
I actively hate bowling and this is quite entertaining. I’ll watch some pro matches after good job ❤
My dad bowled back in the day in reno and different places as a pro am bowler, and so i grew up bowling all the time. now i beat him just about every time.. but i do need a new ball
lol
5:54,, this is exactly why you bowl with/against a pro, extracting his or her knowledge!!!!👍
In this situation what are the benefits of staying more behind the ball?
Did anyone notice how Luis got us all with “the circle game”
is the original Zen entry level i had someone tell me to buy ether the original pearl Zen or the Hyped solid are these true entry level from 1 of the storm brands
Fairly high performance. Really just depends on where your game is at.
I think you should get that random UA-camr Packy to challenge you!
Let me get some of this action. I’m in Vegas and bowl all over. Lefty.
I’ll take a purple ball if/when I win 😂
And you always have good content. High level entertainment on this channel. I appreciate it.
This requires a rematch for the benefit of both parties. I want to see this on different lane conditions.
Yes!!! About time this happened
Can we get bowling lessons from you? We live in Vegas and we always see you at southpoint. If yes how much?
