I like the information here, but I would like to see the basics of how the hand needs to position itself thru the swing to get to the outside and then finish. A frame or segmented analysis of how the hand is working at getting to outside through the swing would help us to try and emulate the correct method of release….. thanks

My scratch league just started on a really short 26' with low volume last night and I was just working on this so it's cool this ironically popped up in recommended. I was playing essentially straight up the 2-board going right up the back of the ball. My comfort zone is usually high axis rotation but that simply will not work on super short patterns. This is solid advice.

I have been starting with my hand on the inside of the ball and trying to finish on the outside with varying results, gonna give this a try on my next practice session, thanks for the tip!

Great video, really like the level of detail you went into. Makes it sooo much easier to understand. Don't think I've seen another channel cover this as well as you did here. Thanks!

Belmo is a master of axis tilt, axis rotation, rev control, loft and ball speed control - All whilst walking diagonally across the approach.

I started playing consistently about a year ago and finally got back into bowling after having surgery done. Used to a lighter ball but looking to go for a second heavier ball in a couple months. Looking forward to seeing how my game improves with the tips from your videos

I always have my ball hook early, never even thought about throwing it "forward" definitely gonna help me get over my 170-185 average

I'm looking forward to using this advice, tomorrow. I usually play pretty forward, but find that my ball deflects a lot when I hit the pocket, leaving the 5 pin. Maybe playing a little more of an angle will help the ball drive through a little more reliably.

Thank you for that vide! I’ve watched many videos on axis rotation and that was by far the best explanation. I can’t wait to work on this on the lanes

References is great to come back to. Your video make me realize your concept is like the guys who teach golf on UA-cam. The plus is how you include your bowling journey. I hope your reach as many subscribers as the golf guys. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Love this video. Made me feel less guilty when many years ago I used to almost "spin" the ball to get it get down the lane when bowling an evening "C" squad at a PBA regional (southern region) when the lanes were completely scorched. At that time, I felt that was my only shot, as I didn't throw with a lot of speed or loft to get through front part of the lane.
