I’ve owned the Joker Ember with curly birch scales for a year and a half. I’ve used it camping and bushcrafting. Came wicked sharp and easy to strop back after use. Due to heavy use, I lightly sand and rub in boiled linseed oil into the birch once every six months. Makes the burl pop and look amazing.
It really is an amazing knife. Way under rated. I’ve been looking at the micarta one. May consider getting it. Because, well, I’m addicted. Haha! Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.
I like the Ember... But those sparks were pretty weak imho. Now I don't know if it was the rod or not sharp blade spine or technique.i tend to never use the fero attached and keep it for emergency...eg forgot my usual fero... But nice knife
They were not as amazing as they should’ve been. It still had the coating on it and I wasn’t doing my best. Nice catch! It works great now. I also don’t use it much, as I have a dedicated big one. Thanks for the comment.
I have this and it's smaller brother joker nordico .... it is a little bit shorter and has no extenction of the tang in the back ... I find it more comfy for carving and it does all the same tasks as the ember ...also comes with a firesteel or not, as you want. Amazing knives .... the biggest ine I have from Joker is Joker Nomad, convex knife that cuts like hell ...5 inch blade (12 cm) so it is large and heavy but occasionally I take it out on longer overnights in the wild :) amazing knives
Joker Ember, by MILES! The Ember is something you won’t be at all afraid to use, but could also pass down to your children and feel proud about it. Thanks for commenting!
Hello to South of France. I ve use Spanish Knife for long long time, and are very good quality, Muela, Nieto, Joker, Aitor, are for me thé n'est choise. Thank's you for your vidéo.
That is a nice looking knife and sheath! Plus the fire starter included. Perfect for the survivalist enthusiast and outdoor adventures. Where can you order this sweet Knife?
Looks almost like my caström no 10 (k720) 😂, makes sense now. Ive got the lynx in MoV steel( flat grind and a bit smaller, great as allrounder and for food prep) and the nomad in böhler n690 steel (great big knife with convex grind ) I like the Joker more than the caström , great quality at a pretty low price level
Hey just subscribed. I watch alot of channels like yours. I see u have 23 subscribers. With all respect I just want to offer some advice to get more people watching. I do part time marketing and a lot more. So get in ALOT more close ups on the item being reviewed and of the item like this knife doin the work and tasks it does. Let's see those feathers and carving and the cuts.!! Get in there!!! And we need to see you enjoying the video so don't be afraid of showing yourself doin the work or talking. It helps us to get engaged with u and the vid. Show us what the gear does whether review or a day hike etc.etc. and get ur self in the vid not so far away like this one!! Do this and people will eat it up!! But good energy which n this one keep it up! I hope I'm not overstepping just wanted to lend a hand if u want more subscribers and views. Be well.
Only 1 real issue, it's a bit thicker blade, for a scandi edge. 3mm max is where scandi edges perform. I would also like a ballbearing steel, or Vanadis 4 Extra, Cruwear etc Even O1 would be a better choice for a scandi edge blade. That being said, it's not a bad knife, it's just could be a lot better with cheaper options like a couple of steels I mentioned and a thinner stock.

The Ember is one of my favorite bushcraft knives. I liked it so much I bought two of them! One with walnut handles and another with micarta.
I completely agree. It really is a good dang knife. I should consider a couple more. Hmm! Thank you.
It's a great knife. I have the flat ground version and I enjoy it very much.
Very nice! So similar to my Casström Lars Fält knife. 😊

I bought that same model with micarta scales. Used it all summer and WOW what an amazing knife. Thanks for the awesome review.

This is great advice! I sincerely appreciate it. When I can finally get around to filming another video, I will take all your pointers. Thank you!!!
Is the bushcrafter the best joker bushcraft knife
I still believe the Ember is too-tier Joker. 😊
Heck yeah!
😁
I don't know about yall, but 2:39 when he placed the stick on the river rocks and started cutting down on it really gave me cringe.
Then I was successful! Hehe!
It would've been good if you told us "how much it costs"
That would’ve been good. You’re right! Thanks for the idea. Cost varies depending on where you look. From about $100-$150.
