That's the best way to do it, Demo them both! I really liked the concept of the Yamaha unit; I rode it, Another guy was there doing the same thing and he bought the Yamaha and I got the Bosch! Nice to have a choice! Im interested on what you choose! Keep me in the loop!
chills996 I recommend replacing Magura(extremely spongy feeling and noisy) brakes for Shimano Saint immediately. I also had to replace SLX shifter, I got Shimano XTR shifter which is HUGE improvement. All other components are good!
Great review (wind noise was annoying but...). I kept researching different brands, models and styles of ebikes and ended up trying several different e-bikes at local dealers. Based on your review I looked for a dealer which sells Haibikes and was able to try this specific model (2017 all-mountain). Absolutely loved the look and the feel of it, such a well balanced and smooth ride! I tried sduro (Yamaha) and xduro (Bosch). Both are fantastic models! I felt like Bosch was just a little quieter when shifting but maybe I was imagining? Ended up ordering the xduro even though it costs a little more! Will pick it up in a few weeks when I'm get back from a business trip. Excited! Thanks for your review!
Great review! exactly my thoughts! The Bosch motor is the best and so are the Magura brakes and not to mention the XT derailleurs, oh and dropper post! This bike has all the best comp and at a great price. Too bad it looks like crap. The Levo looks much better to me but the brakes, the Shram gear and the weak motor is such a turn off. Why would I want the weaker motor?
