I watch so many of these Megavalanche and Mountain of Hell races from winning runs. It's a whole different experience from what can effectively be called a 'real-world' view! Because it is a whole different world once you get behind the Top 50; it becomes more of an adventure and about the experience :)
@@Daz555Daz Probably because you didn't show much interest to what was happening outside your borders. No disrespect but the Megavalanche has always been the biggest one of its kind and has always attracted a big international crowd.
ive seen some other videos of people doing this, and they go down that snow/ice no issue at all. its dope as fuck. the trick is to not lock up the brakes and to have a foot on the ground to help you turn. you essentially drift like a car, front tire points where you wan to go, rear tire sliding a bit, and your foot for that 3rd point of stability.
I think all mountain bike races should have an ebike class. They could have all the ebikers group start before or like 20 minutes after the regular riders so no one complains about them getting in the way or it's unfair etc. Of course the ebikes would have to meet certain power and top speed under power specifications. I think mid drives or front/rear hub motors should only be allowed and only one motor per bike.
