They lure insects and even some small animals in with an aroma that they're attracted too, the rim of the plant is coated in a really slick waxy substance so that when what ever poor creature get's to close they slip inside and climb back out where they are slowly digested in the fluid inside to provide nutrients for the plants.. Nature is scary.

I mean, the 150 was a baby, so it doesn't matter as much as it could have. Even if he let the baby grow up, then knocked it out, and tamed it that way, it wouldn't get the taming bonus. Believe me, I've tried.

Syntac, don’t know if you noticed but one of those beavers was a parent. I know you don’t get bonus levels but beavers and even theris have babies now you can claim for some easy early game wood since they auto harvest and you don’t need their saddles (for those who are unaware of that fact).
what i noticed with rafts, when a box on it breaks, the bag is stuck inside the raft itself. i am not even sure if breaking the raft will give you the bag back. also, the plants are probably pitcher plants. or something like that.

They attract insects and mice with a sweet smelling kind of dew, they then fall inside because the edge of the plant is super slick, and then they get slowly digested and drown in digestive enzymes. They're neat, but terrifying. One big enough to catch a human would be genuinely terrifying.

I noticed in the last video that you mentioned wanting another cryopod mod...I run an ASA server and we use Dino Depot. I am sure you have probably been told about this mod before, but I wanted to strongly recommend it to you! It is a very good mod that has a lot of config settings. You might want to alter the level and crafting requirements of the engrams like I did, but it's not a big deal. If you want any help with it (though I'm sure you know what you are doing), just let me know ^^ (haven't watch this episode yet so I have no idea if you have already picked a new cryopod mod lol) Thank you for all your videos, they have been an inspiration to me when it comes to running my own server! ^^
I added the catamaran mod, lost enough rafts and they have more durability and are more manoeverable. The Sunken World is cool too it adds more varieties of fish meaning less piranhas, some have cool abilities. Love the series so far, getting high level tames is so much easier on the Centre.
I have a crested gecko (Beef) who dropped his tail, they are one of the few species who do not grow their tails back so he is forever a frog butt 😭 A good chunk of people name their cresties after random foods, so I vote in that direction!

Pitcher plant, they secrete a tasty nectar on the top of the leaf bud that insects find delicious. However the ridges of the pitcher plant make it difficult for insects to crawl on causing them to lose balance and fall into the liquid inside pitcher where they will drown.

Those types of pitcher plants are called Sarracenias :) They're a lot of fun to grow. They catch truckloads of bugs if you plant them outside.

It's a Pitcher Plant. Marsh Pitcher would be more accurate for this version, but there are many variations.
