Would love to see the interview with Chet. We had a similar situation happen at our place where we had a person that grew up in our house come by and walk through the property with us. It was pretty awesome to see her face light up until the stories about her childhood and all the things that have changed or that were still the same, it’s one of my favorite memories

I am always appreciative of what you share. I don't know how you find the time to film and edit, but your videos are enjoyable and well done. Your choice of music is spot on and goes with the video. You are living the good life. It seems it is the hardest but the best time when your children are young. My five are all grown now. Our youngest daughter still is living at home, but she is busy working and living her own life as it should be. I am looking forward to my husband retiring this fall. We have many projects we will be doing together on our little farmstead, things he hasn't had time to do. It is always a good feeling to do just one little thing. I love your rail fence. It does look like it has always been there.

It’s good for the mind to change up some of the projects to outdoors, gives you a little bit of a reprieve from construction on the house. You could always add a third row in the middle at some point if you’re concerned about the cows getting out.
Being from the southwest my heart skips a beat when I see shoes stored outside -- growing up we were always taught to shake out our shoes before putting them on because scorpions love hiding in shoes even when stored in the house. Ahhh! We finally found it. It was delivered to our old address and tucked away in the garage . I can only assume the delivery person did that because obviously no one was living there… anyway. It is absolutely beautiful! 🤩 the kids love setting up parties with it. Cheese and fruit/ veggies usually but they used it for tacos too! It certainly elevated the taco night to “fancy taco night.” Thank you for such a thoughtful gift.
it's the sweet border collie waiting for momma to throw their toy. i miss the days when our BC would nudge his thousands of tennis balls while trying to work in the yard, or work cows if he wasn't needed. never mattered if it was 2 am or 12pm, he was ready! lost our 1st BC just before christmas, at the age of 14. he was a red and white, and boy oh boy do i miss our old man.

Murphy is a huge part of our family, it’s been difficult watching him age so rapidly, lately. Still a puppy at heart
