I like your set-up. It's simple, and judging from what you tell us, practical. Nothing goes on my Tacoma that doesn't serve a purpose. Thank you for the video. I'm definitely interested in BR wheels.
I have the Black Rhino Rotary Forged Stadiums in a 16x8 -10 offset in matte black and they are ridiculously light at 25lbs a piece. Can't recommend them enough.
same here! I have the matte black rotary forged stadiums on my tacoma in a 17x9.5 -18 offset with 33s on them and I love them. 28 lbs for mine and i couldnt believe how light the were until I picked them up for the first time.
Love my black rhino armory wheels. Have had them 4 years. Looking to buy the arsenals for my soon to be new truck. I want more offset this time around.
I’m certainly not an engineer but I can’t imagine that a couple extra CFM would make a huge difference in heat dissipation when we’re talking about 1000s of degree changes in brake temp. Does the Armory really hinder the cooling properties compared to other tires and does that really change performance…?
As a former Toyota technician it is beyond rare for any toyota car to wear out pads before rotors 😂. We cut rotors all day every day because of vibration while braking, pads would still have like 6mm but the rotors are toast❤ always measure your rotors before selling a brake job toyota techs 🎉 it sucks to turn a $300 brake job into a $800 brake job because you didnt sell rotors initially and you should have. It's also a huge problem if you cut them past min thickness. You are liable for any brake system issues or accidents caused after that. I've seen it in person and been to court to testify for people. Document document document. Let the customer know all of the details before you try to sell anything. I've worked at 4 different brands now and Toyota brakes are the worst.
@@theccwdad my tacomas and 4Runners brakes always vibrate. Even after new brakes and rotors I’m good for maybe a couple months before vibration on braking
I like your review. I’m new to custom wheels/tires…asked to different shops if the 17” Black Rhino Legion is a wheel that could fit my 2020 4Runner without a lift. Got confusing and conflicting answers. Not to mention when they got into offsets. Any recommendations/explanations about the BR Legion and offset?
I always thought ‘Rim’ was a part of the wheel, which applies mostly to multi-piece wheels. The rim is the cylinder part of the wheel that dictates the diameter & width, the center piece dictates the offset....🤔 just confused myself 😂.
Looks wise, they look awesome. But they look hard to clean & not a lot of air circulation for the brakes. My friend has matte black wheels & he says they get dirty quickly. But I really do like the aggressive look of these wheels. Reminds me of a military-style wheel. I’ve had my eye on them ever since I bout my Tacoma. Great video man ✌🏾👍🏾
As far as airing down what would you think is a safe number? I got black rhinos too but they’re not beadlock but I can’t find much info about anything regarding airing down.
Hey Brad do you think I could get away with the armory's 17x9.5 with - 18offset with the falkens 275/70/17 Lt's on stock suspension???? I hear some say you can with minor trimming on inside fenders while other claim it'll need a lift. Any thoughts? Running it on a 2022 off road double cab taco
Hey thanks man! I'm rocking the 16x8 Black Rhino Arsenals wrapped in 285/75/16 tires with a 3ish inch suspension lift. I'll do a detailed look on the wheels, tires, and suspension in an upcoming vid.
@@squaredawayeveryday I have the BR Rumble wheels for the 4Runner and the OE lugs do not fit. I'm wondering what type of lug nuts I would need and how long (acorn, flat, sphere or whatever)
@@squaredawayeveryday Nice! ive been thinking of getting ARB's Summit front bumper but I dont know much about shocks and suspension, I figured that Fox and King are the best since their the most popular but Old Man Emu must be some off-roading stuff that can handle extra weight.
These have been my dream wheels ever since I saw them. Finally looking at buying some 🤞

Just got the Black Rhino Chambers w/ Goodyear Wrangler AT’s for my ‘24 Ram 1500.
Thanks for this review!
I'm getting some for my 2wd d21
Have some on my Subaru Outback...love em!
Considering buying these for my 2017 Compass. Tks for the input.

Thanks. Looking at the Armory and/or the Bantam. Hadn't considered heat dissipation/airflow.
It's a serious concern.
If only they made some skinny ones for my pizza cutter 255/80/17s. They looks perfect for a sturdy interesting wheel.
@@DaysOfDarknessUK thanks man but 16s won’t fit around my brakes and I don’t want to use spacers.
About to throw these on my hummer! -18mm offset 🥰

nice that they're made by TSW.. the "paint" you speak of is POWDER COATING so it's a tough coating!!..
Lol, tomato vs tomaato. Thanks man
I like your videos. When did we stop calling them rims?
Thanks man, I guess when I realized they're actually just a wheel, lol.
I asked myself that same question earlier today. I guess they're wheels now.
I think it's probably more of an industry change than a personal one...
technically they can be called rims since rim was the word wheels derived. Both wheels and rims are correct.

Since Taco hub bore is 106.1 and those wheels are 112.1, did you use any hub centric rings? If you did, where you get them?

Did you feel the need to regear?
Can you put metal spikes on all the bolts
Question would these look good on a 07 Toyota Sequoia.

What air pressure do you run them on the road/on the trail
Did you use wheels spacers for your wheels
Special lug nuts required? Or did your factory ones work?
I ordered some BR wheels and they require two sets of special lug nuts at $40 ea set
They look cool, but look like a pain to clean. So many features to rip and tear at mitts and sponges.
I just give it the old pressure wash.
Can you share which lug nuts you are using? Thanks in advance.
Just some standard black lugs that I purchased from Toyota, there's a lug cap on these wheels though and you can't seem them.

Hi, does it need a hub centric ring?.. thank u
No, although it is lug centric. lol
do u need a special lug nut or does the oem works?
No special lugs.
You should have gotten the tan ones...
Eh, I've already got enough tan on the truck.
Black makes it look a lot sleeker
What size is the offset on these?
Do you have any kind of lift on your truck?
I do, it's a BP-51 suspension lift.
