Sohyang and Harim's duet is good! Sohyang is the best singer of this era. A singer whose live performance is better than the record! It's a dream, hope, and touching.
So Hyang joined this BeginAgainKorea group of talented younger musicians after King of Mask as she was still recovering from frequent bouts of pneumonia. There were some videos show how well they got along and how much in awe of her they were. But their busking to small groups oppressed by Covid restriction was a great opportunity for her to reach out and offer comfort to those going through difficult times. So Hyang was shown traveling with a nebulizer in the van going to these remote locations but she produced some her most impressive performances with these great young musicians and we are blessed that they were recorded so well for us.
So I am here a year later and while I was never a big Michael fan, I did like this song. I've heard many people cover this and they always try too hard to out do everybody else who has ever sung it. Then there is what I just heard, which is the best version ever. It is heartfelt, clean with add on's that compliment the song not try to upstage it. The addition of Hareem was a stroke of genius. He is perfect for this part of the performance. His vocal quality is a perfect match for Sohyang's it is strong and clear and easy to understand. Just like his keyboard playing, strong and to the point no embellishments it lets the song breathe. Thanks TT for once again giving a to the point reaction. That's why we all keep coming back here.
This song was originally sung by Michael Jackson and his brothers way back in 1970, 52 years ago! Mariah is a comparative newcomer and was only born in 1969! Sohyang says that during the "Begin Again Korea" series she was only capable of 30% of her normal vocals and was concerned that people would notice it. She need not have worried. 30% of Sohyang is like 150% of anyone else! 💘😎😉👌

Masked singer: Breathe, Home and Mona Lisa I am singer: Fate.... seriously run to do that one Begin again korea: Misty Those first four can't be missed. Misty can't be either. But Breathe and Fate are just shocking. Home is addicting. Also heck Day Day from masked singer is epic and fun. I'm not caring for this one as it plays. Nor at least a couple of the others. That's just saying how much more epic these others are because I pretty much just search out reactions to her. Occasionally Lara Fabian.
Sohyang came down with covid19 yesterday and this can be a serious health issue for someone who is immune compromised like her. Please add Sohyang to your prayers so she can be healed by God. She got hepatitis B when she had cancer surgery when she was 20 and this is why she gets pneumonia so often. Thus covid19 can be a mortal danger to her because really serious pneumonia can develop from it. I thought everyone would want to know that. 😯💘😲
