- Welcome to my new channel everyone! Thank you to those of you who have come across from my main channel @SophieShohetOfficial
So the point of this is that I want to talk about topics NOT related to 'luxury'. For example; High Street shopping, non-shopping vlogs, getting groceries vlogs, hacks and money saving tips etc.

To be honest I’m very tired of shopping, luxury and over consumerism. I’ve been a long time follower but I don’t watch every video anymore. You have so much more to offer. Financial soundness, groceries/recipes/lifestyle.
The same here, I stopped buying new luxury items all the time and stopped watching unboxings.
I agree. And don’t forget all the Declutter videos we get after all the over consumption.
100% on point! Although I enjoy some of the lux videos (make-up, accessories, travel, etc.) I am getting tired of the same thing regurgitated differently depending on the channel.
I think Sophie is on to something here (not surprising, she is a marketer). I am here for the random, low key vids ❤
I think a lot of viewers watch just for you regardless of the topic. I’m one of those that just watching you makes me smile

I am one of the few subscribers of yours that prefers to watch your non-luxury vlogs where you and David go on random adventures to see stone henge. 😂 This channel is honestly a great idea.
Oh yay! I'm so glad to hear this, indeed there's so much more to life (and me!) than luxury. Non-luxury has never done well on the main channel, I get it, it's not what most people there subscribe to me for. But I'm hoping over here that I can really start making non-luxe content that everyone enjoys :) Hugs my friend xx

To be honest I am more interested in high street and quiet affordable luxury rather than " big logos ".

I know what you mean about the shopping vlogs, they're fun but I have 100% had comments from people saying they aren't into them so much. I've wanted to get into non-luxury for the longest time, but I knew the main channel wasn't the right place for it. I can't wait to start making new content here!!xx

Ooo yes empties what you love or didn’t and how you pack to go abroad. And how to save for a designer. Eg; min to put away and best time to look.
Would honestly love to see grocery shopping/grocery haul content from you! It’s one of my random fav types of videos as well as general day in the life vlogs doing everyday things. I’m excited for this channel 😊
The grocery store is the first place I go when traveling to another country. So much fun!

Sophie, I’ve been watching you for YEARS. I love to see this other sides of you. I’ve found it useful, your videos on finance, career, etc.
I came for the ‘Balmain told me I’m fat’ vid, I subscribed for the handbags, but I’ve stayed around because of you. My interest in luxury goes up and down, but you could be talking astrophysics and I’d still listen! So excited for this new channel. I really like the sound of high end high street (which is more realistic for me), financial/life advice videos (these are usually my favourites along with story times), days out, travel… looking forward to seeing where you go with this! (Also, I don’t know if you like hosting dinner parties, but I think that would be a fun video, you could take us shopping, show us your outfit, the food, table decorations)
On that note, I'd like to ask if you could talk more about history? Or historic places around the UK that you've been to or find interesting. 🙂
Personally love your business, travel and lifestyle posts the most! Also a lot of us like to “window shop” nowadays and are mindful of spending and consumption. Unboxing and “hauls” are not interesting to me and feel a bit crass in the current climate

This sounds really good Sophie, feel like I’m moving away from the luxury purchases but still enjoy watching, but I always always enjoy the other videos such as your ghost stories, savings, how to etc. Looking forward to it x
Im very glad that you have this separate channel because alot of youtubers are so "consumer focused". But you're very authentic in the sense that you do like to shop, but you're not shopping ALL the time for the sake of videos, and you're not "pushing" consumerism via affiliate links and such. Thank you for being so authentic!

This is great, Sophie! I am one of those people who really enjoy your non-luxury videos. I enjoy your travel vlogs and also if you show everyone what you are planning to take on your trip and why. I remember falling in love with a gorgeous pair of sandals you had in one of your France trips and I went looking for them but the company had gone, sadly. I like cooking videos, bunnies, shopping at Home Sense, stuff like that. I only hope you won't take too much of your precious personal time to add the extra content for us. Thank you! xx
I know what you mean Wendy, I rather think I've 'over egged it' from a time perspective! But I have an editor and that's a huge help. I will have to add the 3rd video into the x2 I block film on a weekend. We'll see how it goes! xx
Yay! I have wanted this type of content from you for a while, just daily vlogs, all down to earth every day stuff. But also I fell in love with your channel when you were giving career and financial advice. Anything that discusses having your own business and all of that is what I love from you. ❤

Sounds fantastic, most people need to save money rather than spend it. I for one don't need to see unboxing of designer bags. I would rather see interesting shopping areas in London.
Actually, I just love the browsing. I don’t have those shops around me and I enjoy seeing what is new out, and what styles/colors are trending. I only have a tiny budget so I buy pre loved, vintage but I enjoy window shopping even what I can’t afford.

I followed you over from the main channel, where I watch you for you, not the luxury content. (I don’t like shopping to be honest). I would be very interested in your travels, but especially your view on current affairs (in fashion/marketing)! Loved the videos in which you try to explain something that is happening, such as a possible economic crisis or things on social media, in which you also do some research. I’m very excited to see what you’ll do with this channel :)
Car content? I’m a massive Porsche fan like you are, but I love all things car, and not just racing! I love watching reviews, getting someone else’s views on them.

I think this is a great idea. You don’t have to sell off all your bags to adjust your vision or have a try doing something more/else.
i‘m so happy you made a new channel, i love your personality and i always thought its so sad that you dont do other stuff. I would love vlogs, baking/ cooking daily stuff, traveling, gym, thoughts on different topics and so on… Honestly i would love anything.

Hello my friend! You all got me through covid, REALLY. It was such a lonely time in lockdowns and it was a privilege to be able to communicate with you all. It made me feel less alone and I hope the same was true for all of you :) I cannot wait to get started! I actually wear a LOT of non-luxury branded clothes, but when I've done hauls in the past on the main channel, they flop (I get it, people over there want Dior, not Zara!) I'd like to see you conduct walking tours of the villages in the Cotswolds. I visited the Cotswolds 10 or 15 years ago with my family, but we didn't have a good GPS and kept getting lost or going around in circles. (I'm in the US, by the way.). I'd love to see the old churches, the village centers, the quaint shops, etc.

This sounds like it’s going to be a really good channel. I love luxury bags and accessories but my clothes come from the high street too. Mind you, as I live in Australia the stores won’t be ones I have access to but as everyone copies everyone else these days it will be helpful for ideas. I get very bored with designer ready to wear clothing because it’s just something I would never want to buy and being covered in logos is not my jam.
There’s a lot more to life than luxury, even though I love it, but I have always enjoyed your videos about finance, work, travel and life in general.

Yessss Sophie! As many others said, I actually love your content re: finances, cars, etc. besides shopping! The luxury aspect is what drew me to your channel years ago, but I love your story times, especially about your rabbits. Looking forward to viewing more of your other content!
