Could you imagine having to dust that place?! How about cleaning every crack and crevice in those carvings?! I think the gloom in the room would drive me to madness. Nice tour tho, and you always make it interesting.

A small joke... What do you have if you have a mothball in one hand and another mothball in the other hand? A very large moth! LOL
You can get a black lens hood cover for a GoPro. If you press it against the glass cases it eliminates any glare.
flash photography of a pair of nice globes might get you in trouble, sunglasses won't

I think you will find the reason for the no flash photos or photos in general is to keep any copy of the image out of General public view , more so if you have to pay a fee to see the collections or if they depend on donations .... jmho. Glad to see you two are happy she is a good thing for you I think , Best to you both always and Good Hunting ,

Its not because of that mate. I was able to take photos all day long because its funded by some sort of heritage fund. Its because this stuff is between 500 and 700 years old and needs to be kept under strict temperature and light conditions and camera flashes actually reek havoc with it all
I have found museums are dimly lit so you need a camera that takes a long exposure. To make a long exposure the camera must be on a tripod. So museums ban tripods. They dont want you to get a good photographic copy.
If they don't have any J.M.W. Turner I don't know I can be bothered... Ya know Mazzy really is having a good influence on you. I'm mean it wasn't more than a year ago that you not only just couldn't be bothered with art of almost any kind but now, you seem to know a lot art. Something just doesn't jibe. There are those darned kids following you again.
