Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。In The First Take, three figures in white hood adding some background vocals are certainly homage to BM's girlhood with original three girls. I assume, however, they are the same girls who performed Doki Doki Morning as clone BABYMETAL in Makuhari shows last January. The combination of their heights reminded me of them dancing face-to-face with Su, Moa and Momoko.
Su and Moa depict various images by singing and project them into the listeners' brain. The waves by those images come and go and make me move emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL.

Great double reaction, thanks for doing both versions. It was already a beautiful song and then The First Take version really emphasised how good they are and especially what an incredibly gifted and talented vocalist Su-metal really is.🤘🦊🤘

The three girls in the chorus wearing white capes who appear in the middle of the song may symbolize the young BABYMETAL. I am moved by the beautiful and strong bond between the girls as they hold each other's small hands with all their might. I feel like crying, we fans are overjoyed by the miracle of BABYMETAL 😭😊😊 We are so happy!

First time watching you do a reaction. So yes, the ladies in white robes were singing the verses that Moa was singing. Yui left the band in 2018 due to health reasons. April 1st, during Fox Day, it is widely believed Babymetal will be announcing a new member who will become the official 3rd member since after Yui left it has technically just been Moa and Su with what they were calling the Avengers that were filling in the 3rd spot. Anyhow, new album coming out very soon, so you can look forward to that! It'll be releasing in about a week, so very exciting!

Playing them back to back really highlights the contrast in the performances. Both are great, but I think I like the First Take version better because Su gets a chance to express herself vocally in a way that she doesn't normally get to. I already respected her tremendously as vocalist, but that performance showed just what a technically skilled singer she is.
If you want other slower more stripped back versions of other songs, you should check out Akatsuki (Unfinished version), and The One - Stairway to Living Legend.

Nice reaction. The contrast between the songs is as amazing as the contrast between the genres of their own songs. All these years and Babymetal is still surprising even their biggest fans. In an interview Su commented that she was surprised by the deep meaning the fans had of the song. While Moa let us know they started working on the song over 5 years ago. Su took the song for a lighter meaning. she recommended looking more into the lyrics. The extra meaning of the song came from the video which has a rather deep meaning to it as it reflects back on what was. But both songs end with the happiness that could be. With that Just Smile. You have a great smile too. I'm sure listening to Babymetal will bring more smiles. They have that ability. I'm told going to their concerts is a life altering experience that will leave you happy for a long time. Babymetal have been announcing tour dates for this year. Already the world is a happier place. That's Babymetal magic. Enjoy the journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.

The three hooded figures are a bit of a mystery but are thought to be a representation of the girls at a younger age. They are singing the high harmonies with Moa. Very beautiful!

NICE reaction You have one of my favorite channels There is no doubt, in my mind, that tthis song is about the bombing of Hiroshima 1945, which is also Su-Metal's home town. Her grandfather was an Atomic bomb survivor

Glad you found Babymetal again, I won' epeat what others have said
PS You can add a video to multiple playlists just fine. 🙂 And in the future just have one topic/artists/song in each video.

    初めまして、ビデオメッセージに込められた「ラグナロクの黄昏」で破壊された地球から新たに生まれる新メンバーの暗示だと考えればストーリーは納得します。

Those 3 girls doing the backing vocals, in front of those two microphones we could plainly see. What were they doing?
Well , while I'm no big expert, I believe those 3 girls in front of microphones doing the backing vocals, were doing the backing vocals, you know, those voices you could hear in the background. 😂

BABYMETAL's hometown of SU is Hiroshima. So if you can imagine what you're singing about, I don't think you can laugh. Use your imagination.

The girls have said in a recent interview that the song has nothing to do with what happened in Hiroshima (which was actually just fan speculation from the video) and is actually about having positivity and hope.
