@@yiqingwang8655 Ross was asking the employee what shade of tan was he: 1, 2 or 3. The employee replied "I'm Puerto Rican", meaning "I didn't get a tan, I was born like this."
The awkward misadventures of ross are often the highlight of the show imo.

A little more Ross mishaps and less „we were on a break“ would‘ve made the show so much better imo.
The second best moments frequently involve Phoebe and Rachel. The time Rachel visited Phoebe's massage place was hillaarrrioouuus!

Dumb question: why did he have to count to five? I mean, you get sprayed on the front, you turn around right away and after five seconds you get sprayed on the back; no counting, no nothing. I suppose it was just a means to underline Ross's hillarious (and so aptly portrayed by David Schwimmer) nerdiness...
to let it sink in and dry before he pats himself.

He should know better than to count to 5 Mississippi. They specifically told him 5 seconds. 5 “measly” seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Simple.
@@jessicalygren3783 yea but then wouldn't it make more sense to make the way the spray tanner works consistent with what Ross said? Like make it work by one having to actually turn around after 5 seconds? Which on the other hand makes no sense I think for a salon to need you to count when to turn around for tanning so this method displayed here makes more sense, just not consistent with Ross' counting thing. That being said, so then Ross didn't just not know how to count but he also didn't even need to count? He just needed to turn around. So does he also not know how to turn around? Lol
@@sowhat... it is because you have 5 seconds to work it into your skin before having to turn but yeah. You could turn immediately and just work it in while facing backwards.
His tan was awesome though. I go for the highest level, am relatively dark skinned for a White guy and never got that good of a tan from spraying. The home one is much better
