I'm so sorry you went though this. I wish it didn't end up like this. I almost lost my son at 4 weeks old because his heart rate spiked to 300bpm and he was going into cardiac arrest by the time we got to emergency. They managed to save him thankfully. However, a few years later I had my son in emerge because he was sick and his heart rate spiked but he was ok and i saw the paramedics bring in a 7 month old into the resuscitation room (the same one my son was in) and the baby had already died. I remember crying so hard because I felt guilty that my baby had survived in that room and theirs died. I felt guilty for many years but I hug my son all of the time because I'm so thankful he is with me. Sending you guys hugs. Please know that your beautiful son has impacted many lives for the positive.

Rush was such a sweet & beautiful boy! His namesake story is the best. I love that big sis never stops talking about him. Letting her talk is the best way to let her process the grief she feels too. You’re all helping each other through when the other is stuck in certain moments of their journey. Rush’s Rainbow is such a great service even though it was born out of complete heart shattering need to survive. I’m a twin loss momma & I didn’t have many options of support at the time (few decades ago).

I recently lost an angel. There is no worser pain in the world than this. The worst part is if you keep repeating yourself too much people just say you have to let go at some point which is just bad on top of bad. It helps to reach out only to those whove experienced the same they're the only ones who truly will understand.
