I think the biggest reason why I got into making electronic music was because I once listened to Supermodified at sampling booth in HMV. I've never stopped trying to imagine and figure out how electronic music was made. My 20 yr old brain was at that time was blown away and fascinated by all the textures.
Neumann should male a link to this on their homepage... this has so much more soul than any real commercial! ❤ the kh 420 as well for producing... and to listen to your music on them! Keep it on. Your sounds are SO good!!
I wish I could have a sub at my house ! Neighbours wouldn't be pleased. I use Robson Acoustics for my home stereo setup. Love to see inside the studio of this genius .
I used to have a pair of KH420, D&D 8C and Kii Three to demo in my studio. How lucky was I. Finally I kept the KH420 : one day I was listening to music, a very old Ellington record in particular, and it sounded exactly like an old record, short bandwidth, crackles, humm, everything was absolutely obvious. Moreover, even the slightest tweak on an EQ or comp was obvious when I was mixing. So these were definitely the speakers I was looking for producing my music. However, the Kii Three gave me the best music listening experience. Space is incomparable, they make everything sound absolutely awesome, like no other speaker I've heard before. That's why I didn't keep them for work, as I need to hear flaws for what they are, as cruel as it can be. But someday I'll buy myself a pair of Kii Three for my music enthusiast activities. I'm writing this to say that if you have a chance to listen to Kii Threes someday, just do it, you won't be deceived, I promise.
@@finArodrigez Odd, I think you trolled the original poster. Logic isn't your strong point I think. I think you might be the one hurting. So easy to be big and strong on the internet, right?
I just claim I know and like my speakers. They are not that fancy but they do the job. Fixating on details seems to be worst when spending too much time watching what other people do instead of doing things myself. Just because of that I won’t put internet in my studio.
The full stuff is on his subscription service and that's what I'm getting at but I actually enjoy the insight and these videos. lol. I'm not just being an internet troll I actually think its dope he's turned it into content for his obsessive fans

I could listen for hours as he talks about studio monitors...
It's possible that because they don't fear making mistakes, they end up with a better end result. Fear inhibits creative problem solving due to the amygdala response. They might be fear-motivated but not fear-oriented about 'mistakes'. Ultimately, everything that's ever been improved upon is a kind of mistake. That accounts for just about everything that ever existed. In that case, the Neumann engineers are really Quakers.
The studio looks like the command bridge of the Nostromo spaceship, a second and Sigourney Weaver will pop out of a hidden corner!

And what better place to listen to early Tobin than a Sampling Booth!

I love klh
The KH 420 are such ajoy to listen to. They are so dry and have such a quik transient response, but still a lot of fun if you get your sounds right...
As always, love this 👌🏻
Thanks for your speaker recommendation. May I ask which brand and model is your super-wide display ?
still love my 0300 with my 805 sub! which subs are underneath yours?

1:51 If the subs are driven by amps, doesn't that mean they aren't active?
oops meant passive

There is no greater fear than that of a Neumann engineer that makes a mistake
