Thanks for sharing that! These are Audeze LCS-XC Bubinga Closed Back Headphones with Wood Earcups from around the beginning / mid 2000's. A feast for the ears 🤠
Really interesting, I love a lot the sound design on Foley Room, this album is a real audio experience. And I was super enthusiast when I heard Figueroa, good psychedelic music with still this magic dreamy sound textures and way of mixing. You keep surprising us Mr Tobin 👍😎🧙♂️
Thanks for sharing... I love your work... awesome! I have just started to learn to express myself using synthesisers... It's a fascinating world...lots to learn... I recently bought the Akai Force... that's what I could afford for now... Time will tell.... Your work inspires me a lot...keep on keeping on ...as they say!!! 👏👏 Thanks .... Blessings....to you and your family... ONE LOVE one mother earth 🌍❤️....
Out of genuine curiosity... why are vintage 20th century analogue mics, pre's, eq's etc. - So sought after? I know its claimed they are valued for the unique harmonics and warmth they provide, but in this digital age where we can model almost any circuitry using software for much cheaper.. why spend so much money on a vintage mic? Don't get me wrong, that neumann M49 looks incredible and id love to own one myself but asking really only out of curiosity. It seems like most listeners would likely not even be able to distinguish sound between a new $100 condenser from guitar center and a 1949 tube condenser worth thousands, maybe difficult even for a trained ear depending on the recording. So is all this vintage gear so appealing largely just for the enjoyment of owning a piece of history, or just a psychological thing? Could be somewhat of a placebo effect or do some of these vintage toys really do provide an unproduceable magic?
A great question and one explored at length in the video discussion between Amon and legendary producer Sylvia Massy here ua-cam.com/video/vpkS4qOuRO8/v-deo.html
Mr.Tobin I appreciate all Your work and I am very thankful for Your masterpieces...Bless You.

So very wabi sabi. Also whatever cans those are it looks like they're discontinued - Audeze doesn't seem to have any with wooden closed backs anymore.
LCD-XC, I think. Closed back version of the X
He is an amazing mad man.
Ah... So you are the guy that made my favorite music kit in CS:GO...
I brought Audee closed back just so that i coud enjoy Amon Tobins music better. Then i see that Amon Tobin also use Auseze is pretty cool. 😊

I'm partial of dimly lit rooms myself. It looks real comfy in there. 😊
Bless you forward, man.
There is a stereo pair of M49s on Reverb for only 30,000 dollars!

Oh hello mr.Tobin, would you tell about the friendship with the Capybara?
Finally know how to pronounce your name. Straight from the Amon's mouth.
⚡️
le plus fort grand respect
Is the drums real or are they samples?
From what I could gather from the Chaos Theory soundtrack "biography", they are recorded and sampled over through various means.
Awesome! I’ve only seen mics like that in glass showcases. Great find!

Eu gosto muito das suas musicas desde quando você fez as trilhas sonoras do jogo Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Nice rhythm, good luck....

When he mispronounced Audeze it made me feel a little less inadequate as a person.
Субтитры на русском бы,
Но как говорится мечтать не вредно!)
Hello Almond
Go back to adventures in foam and cujo
Do you also bark orders at the sun?
Yep. That’s what artists want... To be stuck in the stylistic limitations of an LP they made 25 years ago.
