I believe that the logic of this comment is unbreachable, securing the security breach glitches to truly breach it's limits. Turning it from a survival-horror game into a comedy-sandbox
one of my favorite glitches is in vox akuma's playthrough. he would just constantly hear roxy asking "are you lost?" like every five seconds loud enough as if she was right next to him, even if she wasnt even loaded into the area. it was incredibly funny because he was in fact lost most of the time
@@spidrmorales considering how bugged this game is i wouldn't be surprised if theres like one trigger for roxy saying a voiceline and then it just keeps going 😭
@@iwakeupandboomimarat yeah whenever you go to the backstage area there’s a trigger everytime that says “are you lost?” even after you complete that section and she’s gone 💀
About the "sad sun" animation. On my first playthrough, I did this glitch and got the flashlight upgrade. Sun did the sad animation, like mentioned. BUT. When I went back to the ground floor part of the daycare, I walked past him and got into the play structures to look for the generators ahead of moon's part. Thinking I was safe, I exited the play structure, coming from the ramp and stepping onto the ground, only to turn my camera and see Sun merely a few feet away from me, silently skipping into my peripheral. This visual alone scared the HELL out of me and I screamed, to the amusement, (and surprise) of the people in voice chat with me while I was streaming it. Moon's segment and jumpscare simply did not compare to Sun. Out of the entire game, nothing got me as badly as that initial unexpected Sun jumpscare. "A permanent crouching state" my ass
It depends, any glitch no sitter how small invalidating it or just gameplay affecting glitches? Because practically any game would be impossible truly glitch less without like a janky animation clip or camera being weird or stuff not loading quick enough.
@@ninjafrog6966 I found it very entertaining, the bugs only enhanced that. Yes it was frustrating to see the softlocks, but many of those glitches just had me laughing my ass off.
@@jhonnythejeccer6022 really? I found it more painful than anything realizing a game can release this buggy. Dude broke the entire game without even trying to. That’s a problem.
i do appreciate that its just 'whatever happened to markiplier, that one time' because no one knows what the hell happened. best part was that he couldnt figure out how to successfully do it so he just kept doing what caused it over and over and he kept spinning.
i don't think we talk enough about Markiplier's afton fight. The animatronics showed up in the wrong order meaning that Freddy gunned it for the rechage station during Roxy's appearance, so he couldn't make her go away even if the game properly explained how to do this. I've literally never seen that happen to anyone else
@@jackdingwall7204 I think he walked around a barrier and messed with the order of events in the game because the barriers are really bad at their job of preventing people from being in areas they aren’t supposed to be in yet
@@ninjafrog6966 even then it doesn't explain how the afton fight was out of order. you'd expect that to go the same no matter what since it's all contained as a single event, which begs the question of how the fuck did they code that fight? plus, he never dealt with the tendrils, the game just gave up and let him win
@@glareninjaexcept you have to tried to get glitches in botw and when you do there’re insane but with SB you can just break the game to the point of Reality being non-existent
The fact that this game is SO broken, even AFTER the patch, that people have CATALOGUED the different ways the characters and environment glitches to the point he have a billion different versions of Monty is absolutely baffling. I love it.
So it's like an uncanny valley: it a game is superbly done, people are happy. If the game is such a glitchy mess that it becomes funny, people also hapwy. But if the game has glitches and bugs that don't overrun the whole gameplay then it becomes annoying and people sad or angri
this makes me think the whole Security Breached situation is gong to be like a "Sonic:The movie conspiracy theory" y'all remember how some people theorized that they made sonic ugly on purpose to gain popularity through memes and twitter threads, i think the same has happened here. They made the game pretty, gain recognition; game launches sooner, more recognition, suspition factor; game is actually pretty bad, memes, critics videos; game buggy af......... yea *picture of AstraSpiff slowly fades in
@@mhplayer I think another factor is that people paid $40 for a game that was broken. If someone downloads a free game and it has a bunch of random bugs, sometimes they're funny. But if they spend $40 on a game they have the expectation to at least be able to play the game normally without encountering significant bugs.
As a game art student I can only say that security breach is fascinating. So many things that are easy to fix and that should be very easy to implement. Some stuff is obviously hard to fix but other should be fairly easy. Even the light issue should be fairly easy to fix. This game is great as learning material and it shows what can go wrong. This was a great video spiff thanks for this summary of this masterpiece!
Hearing the phrase "He started busting it down disrespectfully" in reference to Glamrock Freddy is quite possibly among (us?😳) the greatest things I have and/or will ever experience in all my time within this hollow existence
@@lolucorn1 The one that has the word Ranboo in the top right corner of his clip and screams "I'M ASCENDING" in the background as he ascends through a deloaded map
At first I was annoyed w/ security breach for being a broken clusterfuck of a game- but I realized, if it hadn’t been, I would never have found your channel! So thanks security breach, for having some of the funniest glitches I’ve ever seen; and thanks spiff for making such entertaining videos and livestreams, I’m definitely here to stay now (whether the videos are about fnaf, poppy playtime, peeling raw eggs, etc.)! :)
I dont mind it being stupidly broken (since the devs are trying their hardest to fix it anyways) because it's broken in a fun way. It's not like bethesda games which are just broken period
@@katykatmckatums8223 before launch, I chose Monty as my favorite. Looked cool and I love gators. Then they made him an aggressive stereotype. I kinda lost hope, but then I found Spiff, who actually sees something in his different versions, so I'm fine again
Kinda hated him for a week just because of the bonnie theory which was a dumb reason to hate the gator boi. But since then hes been my absolute favorite, I love him, hes the best (besides Bonnie who will always be my main favorite)
The reason why there are huge lag spikes when loading an area comes with how they distributed the load on your ram. instead of doing what most games do, and only loading each part at a time, like rendering the ground, then the walls and ceiling, then all the details and interactables, they try to load it all at the same time, meaning it will finish loading later, and you cant do anything while it is loading. this includes lighting, which as mentioned in the video, it contributes a lot to lag.
Ah yes, sounds like they tried to take a shortcut to cut loading times that completely backfired. Just like how some of the fnaf lore includes fazbear ent. cutting corners and having those corners later blow up in their faces. I know it's not but looking at it like that it feels like the lag is 100% intentional.
What's weird is the Roxy scream in the Afton fight always worked for me even on the old patch. In fact most of my playthrough have been mostly glitch free, the only ones appearing caused by me. But I understand I'm more the exception than the rule
@@killfected7309 It really not so much as rushing it than continuously expanding it without completing what was already there. Each new zone is a bug in a previous zone that wasn't patched, each new zone bringing new bugs... This game never could have been good with this mentality
@@killfected7309 Well that's the thing the community were rushing them so much and then they were upset at all the glitches in a game they rushed the creators to make.
@@General.Grievous "the community was rushing them" is the EXACT same thing I've heard people who defend cyberpunk say, no one was rushing them, infact I think after cyberpunk the community genuinely agreed that the game deserves more time.
the glitch that made Ranboo ascend is forever going to be my favourite one. i was there to witness it live, and every time people talk about glitches in security breach, i pray they mention it. markiplier also had roxy clip through the elevator doors because she was chasing him and the doors shut, which is a close second favourite. security breach is my favourite game to watch people play, purely for the glitches. i'll never play it--mostly because i have a laptop--but this game. i love it.
I’m not sure if this was ever mentioned elsewhere but, seeing this video has encouraged me to share some of my own bugs I’ve encountered. This bug started completely inexplicably near the beginning of the game. I was on my way to El Chips to begin the escape route check mission near the beginning of the game. I was passing by the arcade cabinets in the corner in front of the arcade elevator, and Roxy’s “Are you lost?” Voice line played directly in my ear, as if she was standing right next to Gregory. I had yet to encounter her at that point. Ever since then, every once and a while I will hear Roxy’s “Are you lost?” Voice line as if she was standing close by. Oh yeah, she’s also constantly spouting voice lines from the shadows/walls or some unseen hiding spot during the Endo section of the game, despite never being able to see her.
Security Breach weirds me out: It doesn't FEEL like a Five Nights title. It's like comparing Civilization 3 to Stellaris or CIties: Skylines. The jump in mechanics and graphical fidelity feels wrong to me, as though it's losing something vital.
i think they're trying to start a new storyline within the franchise after FNaF 6 ended the main one, so it makes sense for it to have a different look. i dont have a problem with that to be honest, outside the glitches, but i despise that they brought back afton. vanny would have been great as a copycat killer, instead of a brainwashed "split personality" thing
thats because its not a fnaf game. fnaf games are meant for an older audience but this one is meant for my 9 year old cousin who plays a little bit to much fortnite
In my first playthrough (Release Version) I got the Grey Fazerblaster thinking that was intentional. I failed the Laser Tag segment and the exit opened without me needing to return the gun. This made the Laser Tag minigame never load and the Laser Tag arena was just free to explore with no bots or Chica to be found. I didn't even know the Gold Fazerblaster existed until watching a playthrough afterwards as my objectives counted me getting the Grey Fazerblaster towards story progression.
Tbh having Vanessa calling out for Gregory every time in the tunnel stairs wouldnt be a bad idea, just occasionally have her calling out in random places on the map just to reinstate that idea that you're not only being hunted for by the animatronics but by a human too (even if we ultimately only encounter her twice lmao)
I really wish broken Roxy being unpredictable was an intended mechanic. The absolute best parts of the original FNAFs are the frantic reactionary moments where the plan is throttled and everything goes wrong (It's actually the main reason 3 and 4 are so much less liked as games then the other mainline games, especially at launch), and Roxy just going insane from losing everything to the gregster woulda really put a touch of real fear into the game that they clearly wanted to implimented after 6AM. Like seriously, this game is so broken it's making its own lore up, and it's honestly better then what the game intended.
60% of these glitches would be nullified if the developers removed the ability to jump. An extra glitch with Freddy. He has four specific voice lines that are only triggered if you flash your camera or shoot at him. But sometimes he'll randomly say one of those lines when you're doing literally nothing or flash in a direction that isn't even facing him. Hell, I think I've seen it happen in one of your videos.
spiff also has stream notif sounds that are these specific freddy voice lines, and i've seen both the stream notifs and the camera glitch happen in his videos!
@@regulargoat7259 this video's just a very basic demonstration of each glitch, if he went into a litlle more detail about each one, specially the more complex ones, he could easily top 3 hours
Jack actually encountered a brand new Vanny bug in his playthrough. He completed the security room where you have to guide Freddy, and after jumping through the vent to where Freddy was, she came in through the door that requires a Level 10 Security Pass and just killed him while he was talking to Freddy. The fact that she even used that door in the first place is... very strange.
I just remembered another issue I dealt with when I first got the game. I installed it on an external hard drive and not only did it make the lag magnitudes worse (no joke it took 40 minutes to get through the cutscene where Freddy glitches out and collapses on stage because it kept freezing and looping audio), but it entirely broke all textures in the game. For example Freddy’s eye textures bled into his face and his chest became a singular giant blue smudge covering his entire chest instead of the lightning bolt. It was horrifying and I didn’t know what the problem was until I reinstalled it on an internal drive.
"When your future children complain about a game that came out glitchy and you can say oh child you have no idea" was the perfect sum up of how many glitches security breach has lmao. The funny part is I knew 3/4 of these and I feel like eveyone else did as well. Thank you for making this masterpiece spiff!
It's a mess, a buggy nightmare, but that's why we all love it, right? It's almost a homely feeling, nostalgia from growing up with this game series, I could never even slightly dislike this glitchy masterpiece. It's honestly the main source of it's charm, I genuinely love this game, and even more so for how terrible it is. Security Breach is incredibly fun, certainly disturbing in some parts as horror games typically are, but it's also overall very fun, cute and charming to play. The glitches are wonderful and makes the game even better. Bless you for putting together this compliation, it's incredibly hilarious.
@Man with hair people have different tastes. I was terrified during the daycare (only made it out second try because moon got stuck on a chair), the endo room and a few other places
this game isn't even fun-bad like sonic 06. It's just a shitty game that isn't scary or even functional most of the time. and not only that but it shits all over the end of FNAF 6's amazing ending with the burntrap ending.
Naw then the game will lose the reason for playing it.. only if some kind of extension to the story or gameplay would make it worth patching the "main game"
OR to give them ideas of stuff to add to the game just because they can (e.g. a trolling employee secretly adding new triggers for glitches on purpose)
32:41 Actually I collected this in Chica’s Bakery and I always found an open box in one of the karaoke rooms in the Fazcade. As it turns out, you can collect the Chica magnet in either of these locations and you will see an open prize box in the other. This is the case for a few other presents and duffle bags, but this has been fixed in the 6/15/22 update.
20:43 i thought i recognized the clip from somewhere and then I noticed the stream overlay (because I somehow missed the giant text with the names lol) and I realized it was ranboo lmao, didn't expect to see him here lol

Despite all the glitches, I still love this game. Not as much as the "original" series - which I like to think ended with pizzeria simulator - but still, it rekindled the fnaf community. I just went to a con in Naples as the purple guy/ William Afton and thought no one would recognise me (count the language barrier in the reason why). I met 10 other purple guys, two Michaels, one Jeremy, sun, moon, Gregory, a funtime foxy and the puppet 🥰 It feels so great to be back.
monty has only appeared in 1 game and probrably has the most renditions of any animatronic weve seen: - Gate busting monty - Climber monty - creeper monty - Beta monty - Door hammer monty - Mini monty - GIGA MONTY - Omega monty - super jump monty - super jump mini monty - Alpha monty - Afton mini monty - creeper mini monty 14 MONTYS and probrably more... i dont think it beats freddys count but its up there with the main 4 atleast.
Two glitches I encountered on the newest patch today: 1: I had a crash happen during the Daycare Moon Sequence, which put me back to before I grabbed the Security Card. I decided to use this time to figure out where the last generator I needed was, so I used a Distraction on Sun. When I did this, the game would play Moon's "Clean up!" dialogue instead of Sun's, and it happened for every Distraction. 2: After completing the Daycare Moon Sequence, I noticed there was another flashlight that I could pickup. Apparently the game did not save the flag that I already had the flashlight.
I just realized this comment was here. Ya I had the same glitch. But my game didn't crash. It just started happening after I took the flash light and went back to explore.
fun fact: in an early version of the game, el chip's was connected to east arcade with no doorway.they were the same map.there was a similar thing in bonnie bowl where you could look out a window into roxy raceway. these were cut due to being too demanding on hardware.
They still could have kept it if they were to use lower poly models and lower texture resolutions at a distance. There is still power in a low poly model, especially when you render it at a distance since when you get a certain distance away, the details don't matter as much. That way the CPU and GPU wouldn't have to calculate all those polys and the RAM doesn't have to store as much information. I'll still boggled that this game barely runs on the hardware it's recommended for, considering that I've seen games do more on a lot less.
@@SUCHMISH sounds to me like it being too demanding for the hardware is just an excuse to hide how poorly optimized the game is. Hell, most people don’t even play the game with it’s lighting because it’s so poorly implemented it lags the game like crazy. It’s incredible how bad this game is on a technical level and a general game design level
Okay, for that 'real, non-bugged Chica sequence that SteelWool wants us to take seriously', it's been a reason for one of my theories as to the Pizzaplex. It's intended to cover up the teleport mechanic, but of course the game is.. suboptimal when it comes to getting information and concepts across. Firstly, there are multiple of each animatronic. They are programmed (in-universe, that is) to not be near enough to each other that someone can see multiple at once, this allowing for them to be, you know, in multiple places at once. If one breaks, another can cover for it, and if someone rents time with one, it can still perform elsewhere, several times over. As such, while you -will- _should_ never be chased by multiple at once, they can cover a large area. The alternate to this theory is a rework attempted to explain how the damage remains consistent between each, which is that the Pizzaplex has only one of each, but they have an alternate transport network to just walking around. They would be able to get into this network and go to wherever they should be at the time, allowing for very high mobility and making the most of the time in the day for the company. It would help with chases because they could always get near you and can attempt to flank you or cut you off with this system. Of course, neither of these theories really makes sense - the function of the Shattered animatronics and Glamrock Freddy's own function prove that, unless there's a dozen or so alternate Gregories killing each alternate animatronic and upgrading alternate Freddys; and there's no visible system that could even be hidden away which could transport the animatronics like the second suggests. Additionally, such a system would be mentioned by the text in the game at least _somewhere,_ even if it was cut later or never actually added it would've still been found. So it's just a patch job that never was replaced, in unfortunate reality. Also, my view of 'Brun DJ Protocols' is that it the B stands for 'Bouncer' since DJMM is switched to that mode, and the 'run' part of it means exactly that.
@@felinoidrose Yes, but it was a concept for what might've been the idea. I doubt it truly is accurate, as the teleport mechanic is clearly either supernatural or not canon (obviously the latter given... everything else) but it was something I came up with idly.
im currently running on 1-3 braincells, is there a way you could simplify this? it seems like a great explanation but the only words i got out of this was “teleport” “supernatural” and “multiple” 🧍
@@gaysonorthotdaughta Basically its an attempt at an in-lore explanation for why you can be chased by an animatronic, then see that same character walking around in front of you. So they're asking what if there were multiple of each animatronic, so that Chica or Roxy could be interacting with multiple kids in different rooms?
@@voltronimusprime3833 ohh i get it, like the infinite teleport bullshit chica pulls on us when she gets alerted by a bot. that multiple bot theory sounds canon, but it’d probably be awkward if the duplicates ever ran into eachother lol. the good thing about that headcanon is the parts and service might also swap different animatronics out like day-night shifts when one runs out of power. (even on fully upgraded power, freddy isn’t usable for long, and the clone robot theory perfecty backs up the situation with the mass amount of active endoskeletons in the basement near parts and service.) but, ill stop nerding out with my theory for now haha. thank you for simplifying the comment’s theory! ❤️👍
Tbh, one of the most interesting/infuriating parts about the game is the game's actual size, upon release I unpacked the game files fully, and I feared I had to do so on a separate hard drive due to the packed file size already being extremely big. As it turned out the game was not compressed at all, same file size after unpacking everything, could even play it normally and such. By now they have already somewhat reduced the file size, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was simply done by removing unused assets, and not utilizing Unreal Engine’s pak compression. This leaves us with four possible reasons as to why Steel Wool Studio decided not to compress the game files: A) They couldn't due to time restrictions B) Forcing the game to uncompress files while running would cause extreme lag on top of everything else C) Compression caused bugs even we can’t comprehend D) All of the above
Someone needs to compress it and make it run just to find out, I want to find the true Monty, the one that will transcend all space and time to kill you even after you die
To be fair, it is not something that uncommon. The original Mario 64 wasn't even compiled. Meaning: it was running on human language. Many places in the game that caused lag, mainly the submarine part, would hardly lag at all when its code was properly compiled. It doesn't justify it though, but it has seemingly become more of a norm rather than an Exception. Maybe studios believe its less of an issue due to better hardware?
@@MrDwarfpitcher You’re right, but we shouldn‘t forget that the devs at Nintendo had no prior knowledge of C, the programming language used to create SM64, and on top of that the architecture was entirely new. For example, just look at the difference between SMB and SMB3, both running on the same system but with leaps in quality between them. In the same vein UE4 has been out for years and there are certainly enough tutorials on how to properly package a game with it. For crying out loud even Balan Wonderworld was properly compressed, reducing its file size by half, from 30GB to around 15GB. Or Dead by Daylight, reducing the paks from around 60GB to 35GB. So this isn’t even a new standard, it is most likely laziness or greed on the behalf of management, pushing the devs to release the game for the holidays and trying to blame it on “Raytracing” or something.
At least we know now that the reason the cams cut out in the first 3 games whenever the animatronics moved wasn't so that scott didn't have to animate movement. it was to hide the fact that the animatronics had teleportation capabilites all along. Scott really thought of everything!
11:10 In older patches of the game, the entire atrium was accessable during the sound stage sequence. However, if you wander too far (Monty Golf or Kids Cove area works) the game spawns and alerts a Giga Monty to come chase you down. In newer patches of the game, security barriers are up everywhere now in that section.
I’m not sure if this happens to everyone, but the game shows the wrong subtitles for me after picking up the party pass. Gregory says something like “What’s this ticket? It looks old.” but the subtitles say “It looks like an old camera.”, coming from when you pick up the fazcam.
Can we all remember that on Backseat Stream's first playthrough, he cheesed the 3 minute timer for one of the security upgrades by just... Crouching in one place.
20:43 Ranboo also got a moon jumpscare during the "leave/stay/vanny" door cutscene 30:48 Where spiff says "later" my audio got stuck on the 'er' and just went "later-er-er-er-er" and I had to give my ipad a few seconds to figure out how audio works. The glitch video is glitched, the glitchness has maximized
*4:41* This also happens with the Chica cutscene. If you go back to the trash compactor after decommissioning her, a prompt to place the Monty Mystery Mix will show up and you can hit the button to activate the cutscene and teleport to the trash land, but Chica is absent. You can do this as many times as you want. this got patched in the june update
I'm surprised this glitch wasn't mentioned. I watched a streamer, Coney, play the game, and when he entered the bowling area, all the endoskeletons spawned in the bowling area, making him have to avoid both the security bots in the area and all the endos. It was pretty funny to see.
ive lately become basically addicted to spiff's fnafsb videos, and i really enjoy watching them and rewatching them. i love how his fairly chill voice and tone contrasts with the insane nature of the game and of chat, to keep things from getting too overwhelming. i love how he's taken a dorky game from a hot mess to a fucking act of god. these videos are really special to me and i think a lot of people would agree with me. i dont like going to twitch streams for personal reasons but i love streamer content bc it feels so genuine and like a real adventure to sit with them, and spiff somehow takes the storytelling up to 11 with how wild his escapades in this game get. this comment is probably too long for most people to read, im really rambly because im super sleep deprived, but i just really wanted to yell about how much i love these videos
This serves me very Fallout 76 energy. At least this glitch compilation isn’t over 3 hours long like that one. Everyone is getting different bugs, people are just accepting their fate, the union over chaos.
When MatPat played this game he had to start the whole game over because he got stuck in a nighttime sequence by parts and service (I think) and you couldn’t get Freddy into a charging station. He kept getting killed by Moon and he even started the game over and played through the same way, only to have the same problem. In the end he started over AGAIN and played through in a different order (the order Markiplier played it in)
I believe i remember him saying in the vid where he explained his post-problem process, that the problem was apparently solved with the patch that came out but he didn't wanna mess with his, at that point, non-glitched run. I might be remembering wrong, but if i'm remembering right, that would be y no one brought that glitch up. It was gone before half of the popular players started dissecting it and glitch hunting. And by dissecting I really just mean playing cuz u don't need a knife to find them glitches. Just a working eye and/or ear.
i feel like what made this game as equally lovable as frustrating was all of the bugs and glitches. they made run to run unique and interesting, albeit unintentionally. this is not encouraging games to be released like this, just something about SB as it was was.. entertaining.
There's another glitch that can happen with Moon that DomPlays experienced. Basically Moon crawled inside the play structure when Dom wasn't expecting it and he freaked out, making him shake his mouse around in shock and accidentally open the Fazwatch. He opened the Fazwatch like, RIGHT as Moon was about to get him, which caused Moon to get stuck right in front of him and just crawl in place infinitely. It's very enjoyable to watch and I think about it often. I know this could be put under the same category as just Moon getting stuck in the Daycare as usual, but I find this particularly amusing and might be a way to keep him from getting you similarly to using the camera to get out of a jumpscare if it's not just a one-time bug. Also hey hey! Security Bots poofing after giving them passes!
A bug I got was in the Prize Counter Mission, where when I reached the elevator and tried to trigger the cutscene where Vanessa catches you, it just… didn’t. I actually hid from Roxy in the weird space between the elevator and the glass surrounding the elevator. No matter how many times I reloaded the game and restarted my PS5, the cutscene just wouldn’t trigger. So I had to backtrack and start the loading dock mission instead.
Honestly the bald Sun at 16:47 could interestingly be explained by the fact that when a bright light is flashed on the other animatronics (unless they have glasses- Monty or in the other games like Foxy in FNAF 2) it confuses their AI for a moment. Thinking about it in FNAF universe standards, this feature could just be Sun and Moon becoming confused together or Sun becoming confused long enough to let half of Moons unstable/stronger glitched personality coming through to kill Gregory (now that Sun isn't in the way). I know it could just be another mistake on Steel Wool part but it is really intresting to think about 💕✨️😌🌝 Also he was probably meant to be used for more, like you said. It's unfortunate that those ideas will never really see the light of day 😔
@@0uttaS1TE Seriously, and it's not like he's had a massive upgrade in quality recently, per say- My favorite of his is the one about Wii Tanks, it's so good.
44:25 is from The Sims 2. When you were loading into the game they would flash marquees at the bottom of the screen like "Calculating Sock Ratios" or "Loading Grilled Cheese" or other silly things. Reticulating Spines was a famous one.
I kinda love this. I hope things like Eclipse and Giga Monty make it into the lore, because glitchy animatronics are literally the premise of the series.
A glitch I've had ever since I first installed the game was that the Moon that's supposed to appear as you ride the elevator down to Parts and Service after the Showtime mission never appears. I'm not sure what caused it, but it's consistent no matter how many times I close and reload the game or start a new run.
The "Pram zapped. Brun DJ protocols. Reticulating splines." is a Sims reference :) Especially the "Reticulating splines" part. Those funky little phrases would come up when you load the game.
Fun fact, I only knew about the fourth Vanny encounter because I thought that section was another ‘wait out the timer’ one and hid in a corner where the animatronics’ AI couldn’t reach me. I was quickly proven wrong.
My theory for Bald Sun and Afton is that it's programmed to enable jumpscares on whoever is stunned by the camera when the stun expires. Sun probably has copied AI from Moon and thus defaults Sun's rays into hiding and uses Moon's jumpscare. Afton doesn't have a programmed jumpscare, so when he catches you when his stun expires, it just defaults the cam to the origin of his model.
"SIXTEEN TIMES THE DETAIL!" "Boss, what about the bugs?" "It doesn't matter, throw this out the door and we'll iron it out in the day one patch" And then security breach was born.
No idea if it got patched but when I played the game when it came out, when Vanny is first let loose in the atrium during the showtime sequence, she will make a B-line for you, even if you're hiding in a photo booth. She won't open it, she'll just keep skipping into the curtain until you leave and get jumpscared.
strange take, but with the way security breach turned out I think it should've been a movie. I mean the cutscenes were really well done and the switch to 3d didn't work too well as the game is bug ridden and it would've also given fans a reason to excuse the ending(s) being really weird and bad (given the fact that the endings have plot holes and make fnaf 6s' ending a lot less cool) right now that's all I got I think it works at least fine as a game it just would've been nice if they tested it for more than 2 minutes.
The switch to 3D didn't work well only because the devs didn't know what they were doing and were too ambitious. Remember The Joy of Creation free roam demo? That was made by one guy. Now the game isn't too complex, at the end of the day that demo was more like a slender clone which makes sense though because the free roam demo was something that was hastily made while the dev was working on the full game. Point is though, FNAF can work well in a 3D environment if done properly and if one guy can quickly make a free roam demo with only a small amount of bugs than the devs for SB were more than able to make a free roam game with a complete story and no major bugs in like 2-3 years
A "minimal interactions" run would be interesting to see, so basically the least ammount of "hold e" interactions also nice vid! i think sb wouldnt be as good without the glitches
Two ways to get a game famous: 1. Make it really well and have so few glitches that nobody notices them 2. Make it so weirdly and uniquely glitchy that speedrunners/experimenters keep finding new stuff to make content on
35:37 there is also a point where you can do this in the sewers after you take Chica's voice box. I was messing around one time and decided to see if I could jump over some barriers, and I could, but when I tried to get back over there is a specific spot that just forces you to continually jump, making that noise.
I found a glitch that happens when you are about to work on Freddy for upgrades. Similarly to how he would sink through the map if you tried to enter him while jumping, if you click the button to begin upgrading him in the dome while you are in mid air, you will sink through the map.
My first experience (this was 2 or 3 days after release btw): During the intro tunnel section of the game, after Freddy spits you out and makes you hide in the first aid cabinet, I changed the graphics settings to low while in the cutscene, RIGHT when I got back in Freddy.. Every Single texture/decal (the textures that are overlaid on top of the actual walls (like the lines and text on the walls themselves)) Just went full Seizure mode. Flickering and causing the walls to either appear completely white or normal or pitch black. And I knew exactly want was happening. So in game dev terms it's Z-Fighting. A common thing in most 3D game engines and modeling software when you have 2 mesh's that are PERFECTLY aligned with each other so they look like the 2 mesh's are flickering whenever you look at them. Now why it would be happening in this case is quite simple: The LoD (Level of Detail) model for the maps usually aren't needed (if you knew what you were doing before hand/ use primitive objects that don't have that much geometry to begin with to need a LoD model for) However I took note that MAYBE SB's maps have LoD, and that the Decals weren't set correctly position wise for the game at that time when switching to the lowest settings. This however is also where it gets weird in my experience. Because even after I changed my settings back to normal (Highest settings (minus ray tracing)), it still was flickering even AFTER reloading my game after getting out of the UG tunnels it still was flickering. only after dying to Chica in that area did everything go back to normal.
was not expecting to see the ranboo clip, but i definitely remember how simultaneously hilarious and upsetting it was to watch that live bc it was post 6am and hed been trying to get the afton ending for hours but freddy ascending was objectively funny-looking
30:37 I have downloaded the Pre-February Patch version of the game from Steam since the beginning of this year and was able to take the game folder to anywhere I wanted and play the game off from that, and as I was recording the game, I also ran into this. Technically, you can actually escape from this self-locking by turning on and off the fazbear watch, which allows you to clip through Freddy like the whole collision of him for the time being was removed, and then the charging station will close it’s door and can progress as normal
42:12 What it's actually doing here is focusing your camera on Roxy, no matter where she is, since normally she's supposed to be near the elevator, but the trigger to spawn her there just doesn't happen sometimes In the clip you used, she seems to be in the atrium
Honestly, I think the game being this broken might've saved it. It's a bad game, but it's a fun bad game. Without the glitches, you've just got a barely scary FNaF title that ruined the Pizzeria Simulator ending.

The fact that 37:46 cant even be explained and is just "whatever happened to markiplier that one time" shows how much spaghetti code this game has
The reason why there are huge lag spikes when loading an area comes with how they distributed the load on your ram. instead of doing what most games do, and only loading each part at a time, like rendering the ground, then the walls and ceiling, then all the details and interactables, they try to load it all at the same time, meaning it will finish loading later, and you cant do anything while it is loading. this includes lighting, which as mentioned in the video, it contributes a lot to lag.

I personally really like the new look of the franchise the only issue I have with the game is all of the glitches and general jankyness
i think they're trying to start a new storyline within the franchise after FNaF 6 ended the main one, so it makes sense for it to have a different look. i dont have a problem with that to be honest, outside the glitches, but i despise that they brought back afton. vanny would have been great as a copycat killer, instead of a brainwashed "split personality" thing

Two glitches I encountered on the newest patch today:
1: I had a crash happen during the Daycare Moon Sequence, which put me back to before I grabbed the Security Card.
The fact that a glitch compilation can be 40 minutes long is insane.
fun fact: in an early version of the game, el chip's was connected to east arcade with no doorway.they were the same map.there was a similar thing in bonnie bowl where you could look out a window into roxy raceway. these were cut due to being too demanding on hardware.

Also, my view of 'Brun DJ Protocols' is that it the B stands for 'Bouncer' since DJMM is switched to that mode, and the 'run' part of it means exactly that.
thats definitely not true, even disregarding the other issues it would mean there would still be glamrock bonnies
(even on fully upgraded power, freddy isn’t usable for long, and the clone robot theory perfecty backs up the situation with the mass amount of active endoskeletons in the basement near parts and service.)
but, ill stop nerding out with my theory for now haha. thank you for simplifying the comment’s theory!
This leaves us with four possible reasons as to why Steel Wool Studio decided not to compress the game files:
A) They couldn't due to time restrictions
B) Forcing the game to uncompress files while running would cause extreme lag on top of everything else
C) Compression caused bugs even we can’t comprehend
D) All of the above
Somebody compressed it to 25 GB and it works just fine
It doesn’t need to be 70GB.
Me, too. I never actually get audio when picking up the camera because of this. Lol
Can we all remember that on Backseat Stream's first playthrough, he cheesed the 3 minute timer for one of the security upgrades by just...

I'm surprised this glitch wasn't mentioned. I watched a streamer, Coney, play the game, and when he entered the bowling area, all the endoskeletons spawned in the bowling area, making him have to avoid both the security bots in the area and all the endos. It was pretty funny to see.
Begone, Scambot!
Anyways, I’m p sure that might’ve happened to 8BitRyan during his game play of it too
ive lately become basically addicted to spiff's fnafsb videos, and i really enjoy watching them and rewatching them. i love how his fairly chill voice and tone contrasts with the insane nature of the game and of chat, to keep things from getting too overwhelming. i love how he's taken a dorky game from a hot mess to a fucking act of god. these videos are really special to me and i think a lot of people would agree with me. i dont like going to twitch streams for personal reasons but i love streamer content bc it feels so genuine and like a real adventure to sit with them, and spiff somehow takes the storytelling up to 11 with how wild his escapades in this game get. this comment is probably too long for most people to read, im really rambly because im super sleep deprived, but i just really wanted to yell about how much i love these videos
I feel 100% of all that, 100% of the way

This serves me very Fallout 76 energy. At least this glitch compilation isn’t over 3 hours long like that one. Everyone is getting different bugs, people are just accepting their fate, the union over chaos.

I love how Monty just stares up at Gregory like a dog waiting for its pets or treats XD
wierd guy
Monty went from egotistical megalomaniac with serious anger issues... to the cutest monstrosity in existance!
I know it could just be another mistake on Steel Wool part but it is really intresting to think about 💕✨️😌🌝
Also he was probably meant to be used for more, like you said. It's unfortunate that those ideas will never really see the light of day 😔
the clip of ranboo’s quiet “IVE ASCENDED” made me lose it I completely forgot abt that

Reticulating splines." is a Sims reference :)
Especially the "Reticulating splines" part. Those funky little phrases would come up when you load the game.
20:51 the faint “im ascended!” screaming of a very confused Ranboo will never not be funny
Fun fact, I only knew about the fourth Vanny encounter because I thought that section was another ‘wait out the timer’ one and hid in a corner where the animatronics’ AI couldn’t reach me. I was quickly proven wrong.
i wasnt disappointed because you do in fact have nothing
also yeah alright i get that
Of all the characters to hold the role of the Time Variance Authority, the off-hours version of the daycare manager seems perfect.
"SIXTEEN TIMES THE DETAIL!"
"Boss, what about the bugs?"
"It doesn't matter, throw this out the door and we'll iron it out in the day one patch"
And then security breach was born.
9:21 I have tested this myself, and you can also outrun him while crouching. You don’t even have to sprint while crouching.
No idea if it got patched but when I played the game when it came out, when Vanny is first let loose in the atrium during the showtime sequence, she will make a B-line for you, even if you're hiding in a photo booth. She won't open it, she'll just keep skipping into the curtain until you leave and get jumpscared.
I think Security Breach has reached the "So bad It's good" level of quality.
strange take, but with the way security breach turned out I think it should've been a movie. I mean the cutscenes were really well done and the switch to 3d didn't work too well as the game is bug ridden and it would've also given fans a reason to excuse the ending(s) being really weird and bad (given the fact that the endings have plot holes and make fnaf 6s' ending a lot less cool)
right now that's all I got I think it works at least fine as a game it just would've been nice if they tested it for more than 2 minutes.
they should've released it February/March 2022 instead of before Christmas
they could've cleared SO much stuff before the release
The switch to 3D didn't work well only because the devs didn't know what they were doing and were too ambitious. Remember The Joy of Creation free roam demo? That was made by one guy. Now the game isn't too complex, at the end of the day that demo was more like a slender clone which makes sense though because the free roam demo was something that was hastily made while the dev was working on the full game. Point is though, FNAF can work well in a 3D environment if done properly and if one guy can quickly make a free roam demo with only a small amount of bugs than the devs for SB were more than able to make a free roam game with a complete story and no major bugs in like 2-3 years
A "minimal interactions" run would be interesting to see, so basically the least ammount of "hold e" interactions
also nice vid! i think sb wouldnt be as good without the glitches
20:45 Ranboo yelling "IM ASCENDING" can be heard very quietly lmao
0:15 I love seeing map bot, map bot, and mapbot appreciating mapbot!
I was wrong, mapbot, mapbot and mapbot… They were summoning the demon mapbot by sacrificing their maps… Stop this cult.
Two ways to get a game famous:
1. Make it really well and have so few glitches that nobody notices them
Hope you get well soon spiff, so excited for 600%
yeah ima sleep now so hopefully i can

I found a glitch that happens when you are about to work on Freddy for upgrades. Similarly to how he would sink through the map if you tried to enter him while jumping, if you click the button to begin upgrading him in the dome while you are in mid air, you will sink through the map.
Ok that ranboo clip where freddy ASCENDED is cool- pog that you put a ranboo clip in 👏
My first experience (this was 2 or 3 days after release btw):
During the intro tunnel section of the game, after Freddy spits you out and makes you hide in the first aid cabinet, I changed the graphics settings to low while in the cutscene, RIGHT when I got back in Freddy..
Every
Single
texture/decal (the textures that are overlaid on top of the actual walls (like the lines and text on the walls themselves))
Just went full Seizure mode.
Now why it would be happening in this case is quite simple:
The LoD (Level of Detail) model for the maps usually aren't needed (if you knew what you were doing before hand/ use primitive objects that don't have that much geometry to begin with to need a LoD model for) However I took note that MAYBE SB's maps have LoD, and that the Decals weren't set correctly position wise for the game at that time when switching to the lowest settings.
This however is also where it gets weird in my experience.
Because even after I changed my settings back to normal (Highest settings (minus ray tracing)), it still was flickering
even AFTER reloading my game after getting out of the UG tunnels it still was flickering.
only after dying to Chica in that area did everything go back to normal.
This game is more a compilation of glitches masquerading as a game, then a game that has glitches, and its great
This is the definition of a totally glitch free game
The question is, which is more glitch-free:
FNAF: Security Breach, or Super Mario Sunshine?
They should use moon as an anti pirate. Just jumpscare people with pirated copy even if he isn't active
Totally glitch free game, a totally glitchy game that should have been free

30:37 I have downloaded the Pre-February Patch version of the game from Steam since the beginning of this year and was able to take the game folder to anywhere I wanted and play the game off from that, and as I was recording the game, I also ran into this. Technically, you can actually escape from this self-locking by turning on and off the fazbear watch, which allows you to clip through Freddy like the whole collision of him for the time being was removed, and then the charging station will close it’s door and can progress as normal
8:40 is the scariest thing I've seen in the entire game
42:12 What it's actually doing here is focusing your camera on Roxy, no matter where she is, since normally she's supposed to be near the elevator, but the trigger to spawn her there just doesn't happen sometimes
In the clip you used, she seems to be in the atrium
Honestly, I think the game being this broken might've saved it. It's a bad game, but it's a fun bad game. Without the glitches, you've just got a barely scary FNaF title that ruined the Pizzeria Simulator ending.
