It's a legitimate horror moment. The ominous out-of-place message showing that he's here, suspensefully watching the stairway, seeing Monty booking it down the stairs at full speed, and Spiff immediately scrambling to get to safety while shouting "How the fuck did he make it here!?" With each development, the growing feeling of being completely screwed, an unstoppable oncoming threat has just arrived. A pure sense of "doom". The whole sequence of events is incredible.
I like the mention of Gregory-less with permanent Freddy power. I somehow managed to get that going in my first casual playthrough - no idea how! What a blessed game.
All these challenges really make me wish Security Breach added something similar as optional modes; which give a star on the menu for each one you complete. (Unlocking certain extras for each star level). Just imagine : - Freddyless mode (Tweaked to skip freddy requirements and cutscenes, but also make it longer/harder to get certain freddy-required stuff) - No Jump mode (You cannot jump, some boxes are added to help you get to certain places; however mini music man's will now roam certain floors outside vents, just to up the difficulty). - Giga Mode. (Vanny or possibly another animatronic) will be hunting you down throughout the game and will work like Giga Monty does. You can hide from them, which will cause them to despawn after a certain amount of time hiding; but will respawn after a while ahead of where you are. (I would also like to add, they could add the moondrop effect for this and many give you a Dreadbear Foxy from VR to make it even scarier; like a nightmare is chasing you.) - Real-Time Mode. (The clock will tick down every second and certain events won't skip the time forward or back. Make sure to get everything done before 6 AM, you don't want to be late). - Walk Mode. (You cannot run, only walk. Pretty much the same though. Maybe add an enemy like Shadow bonnie that will jumpscare you if you stare at it too long to keep you on your toes?) - Nightmare Mode (Vanessa remember to turn the lights off when the pizza plex is closed. You will need your torch more than even now.) - Nightmare Mode + (Similar to Nightmare mode, the lights are off and- ...wait... did you hear that? ...I don't think we're alone. Something is moving in the shadows. Is that.... Freddy? No.... It looks much older... this doesn't look good. ) - Hard Mode (All animatronics are at highest difficulty, will respawn closer and specifically to block your way.) - Harder Mode (Same as hard mode, but now certain areas are blocked off, you have to go the long way around this time) - Cassidy Mode (You must 100% the game to get unlock this. From start to finish you will be hunted by something. Something that's like moondrop but fades away if you use a torch. You probably know who. That's right. Yellow Bear) - Endo mode (All animatronics are replaced by Endo-Skeletons. Security bots will still be around but don't summon them. Still, don't get caught; the staff bots take up valuable time!) Tbh I went a bit overboard but still, would be nice to add new ways to play the game!
this feels like the ultimate spiff lore run, with pizza bot, timetravelling, and the no freddy mad dash for the exit featuring the threat of giga monty
@@ONLY_RR7 I don’t think they were saying this was the first video that HAD a raid ad, what they were saying was it’s the first time they willingly watched it instead of skipping it
That dark mode is honestly how the Pizzaplex should've looked in game. There's no reason for you to be looking around in awe in a horror game. It's part of why the original FNAF games were so scary. They weren't inherently scary, it was just dark and hard to see.
Especially since the place is supposed to be on a lower power consumption for nighttime. Where’s the horror aspect when everything is lit up like that one neighbor’s house the second it hits December?
That last part was like an epic boss battle, a culmination of all of the horrors of Security Breach: Giga Monty, quantum Freddy, TVA Moon man, unloading/falling into the void, pizza bot, ticking, and time travel. Truly awesome stuff!
I've got a few mode ideas for SB that might work; Hacked Mode; Will seem like a normal playthrough of the game, except Freddy will also be hunting you down with the others at random, so always be alert around him. Moon Meter; The Moon meter will appear after the Daycare section is completed. It works very similar to the Vanny meter, and it will let you know when the lights will go off. So make sure to be near Freddy or a recharge station when it happens. Moon WILL know where you are. Golden Freddy mode; This mode can be unlocked after gaining all of the golden plushies. Basically, what will happen is that a Golden Glamrock Freddy will appear near specific locations or times. He won't harm you but he may startle the player due to his unpredictable nature. You must find out who he is... Sun mode; A mode where Sundrop will also be hostile. After achieving the Daycare section, Sun mode will allow you to enter the Daycare again whenever you wish. If you hear a music box, either hide inside Freddy or run because Sun has realised you're there. This only happens if you're anywhere in the Daycare or in the theatre. Total insecurity mode; A mode where Vanessa helps you and Freddy is hunting you as well as the others, but unlike the Hack Mode, he'll be hunting you at all times. Plus, you get to spend five nights at the Pizzaplex and delve more into the (insert Matpat) LOOOORRRE!!!! Psychic Friend Fredbear: During your playthrough, you can end up finding a Fredbear plush. Obtaining this guy will make Gregory's shirt a bit darker and will cause the Pizzaplex to go completely dark. The animatronics will become nightmarish in looks and Freddy will become a prick and bully you like Michael did. Mike Mode; Normal SB playthrough except Freddy will sound more british....Freddy's sus.
I like to think that "Sun hostility" will be to write an apology letter to all the animatronic and Vanessa, forcing you to be close to them, you can escape but the chance are slim

I love how this game is so breakable that the way to do a run without some ability is not be really good at the game, but be really good at breaking it
Absolutely love how all the voice lines glitched out, too, so every so often its: "way to go" "FIVE HOURS??" "Gregory! What are you doing?!" (along with the ticking, of course)
it’s not glitching it’s just Spiff has redeemable sound effects for chat to redeem with streampoints they get by watching the stream, the ticking is the only glitched sound effect
Rules for Only Freddy would just be "No moving as Gregory" that way you can still pick stuff up and stuff, you just aren't allowed to move at all as him.
i actually really like dark mode in this game, feels a lot more realistic considering a lot of establishments keep aesthetic lighting on at night but turn off the main lights.
The thing I love about astral is the presentation of his persona in his videos. I remeber subbing to him around 6k subs, and despite the rapid growth astral has still kept that friendly persona. It doesn’t feel like your watching someone perform to you, with a charismatic tone, beaming down over thousands of viewers. Instead it feels like your watching a friend who’s proud to show you what he did with a game, and is genuinely excited when he explores something new. Astral has gotta be one of my new fave youtubers. And it’s ok you did an ad, you get that bread homie
"All we have to do is walk along the track, grab the head to set the time to five AM, repair Freddy, and get the escape ending." _casually looks at the time bar_ _fifteen minutes into a 45 minutes video_ Alright Spiff impress me.
I know this was a while ago, but I just thought of something that would have massively changed the shape of the run, there is a way to just trigger Roxy's death scene without the screwdriver. He actually ran by the area where you can do it too, after clipping and running behind the bleachers and the forklifts, if instead you head over to the racetrack it will play the cutscene and you can take the item. Unsure if it has the intended affect of changing the time but from what was said here the cutscene triggers the time change. Backseat gamer's first play through did this, he actually went and killed Roxy twice, once the glitched way and then the normal way. I thought it was interesting since he was so close to the glitch, like running 10 seconds in another direction would have saved all the trouble with the security badges, crazy(I'm fairly certain it wasn't known at the time that you could even do that, which is 110% fair)
This is also a super late response lmao, but I don't think the screwdriver was for killing Roxy or anything, it was for a vent after that blind Roxy fire room chase, which happens after you get the racetrack cutscene
I kinda like how Security Breach is a horror game that is bright and colorful, helps it stand out. Then again, Security Breach isn't scary at all so...
@@JonesCrimson i kinda agree, but it's different with video games specifically. If you want your game to be less vulnerable to exploits, you recruit someone familiar with game exploits. Bug testers have to play like a player, not a game maker, because you're testing it to release to players.
Y'know, Dark mode actually makes sense for the Pizza plex. Since, if it was nighttime, and no human besides the nightguard(who had a flashlight) was in there. Then wouldn't they conserve power by turning off the main lights? It *would* fit the Fazbear Entertainment money saving brand...
Ya know, this made me think about TVA moonman, and I think I know what it is, I think that, over time, with every moon segment, he spawns slightly closer and closer every time, so getting the party pass so early causes an Integer Overflow (Basically Moondrop gets closer based on a number decreasing, which is based on the hour, so getting the party pass causes MD's distance meter to go negative, which will set it to the highest number, typically 255, so moondrop gets to instantly drop kick you into a wall.) This is some real Civ II nuclear Gandhi type B.S. here and I love it.
Upon seeing night mode, I think it would have been really cool to start off in night mode and have an optional mission to restore power to the pizzaplex maybe having to go to a fuse room in one of the early maintenance areas, but that you could skip it and keep the minimum energy consumption mode throughout, since I can't recall any points where it being light/dark matters (other than "whenever it's a time o'clock moon dude comes out to check if the timeline is doing well and energy is specifically diverted to the charging stations" which could work all the same)
In the ending when the guitar was playing while spiff was trynna escape, I could just imagine either Monty or Bonnie SHREDDING it on the guitar like some movie scene where it keeps going back and forth between characters
You know what? I'm going to say it. I'm glad this game is this broken, and I genuinely think it's better and more fun to watch it when it's broken, than if it were perfectly well made, without a single bug, and with perfect AI. I genuinely believe that, and that, on its own, makes it one of the most fun FNAF games to watch, so far. This game is this year's Skate 3, if not even better than Skate 3, and I'm all for it. Plus, I wouldn't have found you if it weren't for this broken ass game, and, currently, your content is one of few that I genuinely look forward to, no matter how long it is, because it's fun to watch broken speedruns, and you yourself make it even more interesting and enjoyable with good editing, leaving the best parts, and giving proper explanations for anything necessary to know.
Well said. Although I feel for people who wanted satifying storyline, functional gameplay, scares... and an overall polished game, SB has brought so many unexpected gems to the community
The game itself is so boring and isn't scary at all, not only because of developers being too ambitious and other things that people say, but because in my honest opinion, this game's concept CAN NOT be scary and interesting. That's why I really like how broken it is: it's brokenness somehow creates a new game, full of fun and some really scary moments. Sometimes it almost feels like all of this is intentional and it's just some hardcore prank from the developers honestly
It would've been cool if the lights all had gone off when the doors lock at the beginning, and then turned back on when you re-opened them later. Then you could have a chance to see the cool layout and all the Easter eggs, but also have that spookier ambience for most the game.
Dark mode makes the game look so much better. It should have been released like that. It feels weird to have it be dark when I'm used to it being so bright but holy shit it looks way cooler when you can't see shit.
We need a mod for 'nighttime mode'. Gives that scary "you should not be here" vibe and that paired with mods like better AI and better graphics would make the game REALLY scary.
i know the community has found out its possible to beat the game jumpless, sprintless and freddyless but i wonder if they could figure out crouchless security breach great video btw i love this style of content
well I mean the only real hurdle would be the very begining in freddys room, after that I'm pretty sure you could just use regular any% strats and I don't remember them using crouching
Yeah, I sat through these streams. Thank god we didn’t have like 4 more hours of pushing lids and lag strats lol. I love these challenge streams though, they’re very fun, and the chat is so chill! I hope we come up with even more dumb challenges over time! GOD, I forgot how much I hated the ticking! It’s the worst.
This is the coolest ending i have see to this game: You are bringing chased by 3 gigamontys Roxanne and moon man trying to get out before the insta kill happens.
I think the reason that the ticking never stops is that it loops, and once you leave the intended area there is nothing to stop it, so it just keeps on going
The mad dash to the exit from 33:55 to 36:18 was so cool. Not having the backstage and complimentary entry pass added to the thrill. 34:40 The curtain, wich is the first glitch used in the run, makes an appearance. 35:19 Gigga Monty makes it a real don't-get-spotted-or-you-are-dead moment. 35:57 just as you see the exit and as you believe you have conquered the challenge you see one last obstacle.
I believe there is a way to the Afton ending without getting in Freddy, you can cling onto the edge of the broken concrete just barely, and walk all the way around until you’re just over the planks, then you can just fall down, I’m not sure if it still triggers the Jumpscare though, I’ll need to test it
He already went down there, either he just dies to the blob, or he stands on the planks and nothing happens. He even tried to hack himself into the fight room to check the possibility of it working but the fight only start when the cutscene of Freddy breaking down the planks and falling in the fight room happens, if he managed to enter the fight room without the cutscene (therefore without freddy) legitimately, he wouldnt be able to fight afton
It’s crazy how I’ve always ignored videos like “can you beat super mario without collecting any coins” but I wait for and watch these with bated breath. Just goes to show you that concept alone doesn’t make good content, can’t wait for more security breach shenanigans.
This game challenges the original Paper Mario with how many ways there are to skip literally everything in the game. But nothing can contest the number of ways Paper Mario can crash.

I love the build up as well. The small voice line as the only warning, the confusion for only a moment that cuts off with realisation, the freezing and spinning to the entrance with dread. Giga monty is a better threat than anything steel wool could code.
@@ryuudevie7 he's iconic✨
My anxiety after he started running went so high 🤣
Giga monty does what vanny failed to be
It's a legitimate horror moment. The ominous out-of-place message showing that he's here, suspensefully watching the stairway, seeing Monty booking it down the stairs at full speed, and Spiff immediately scrambling to get to safety while shouting "How the fuck did he make it here!?"
With each development, the growing feeling of being completely screwed, an unstoppable oncoming threat has just arrived. A pure sense of "doom".
The whole sequence of events is incredible.
I like the mention of Gregory-less with permanent Freddy power. I somehow managed to get that going in my first casual playthrough - no idea how! What a blessed game.
It is actually a cool gameplay mechanic where in-game time is tied to certain actions you perform. Wish to see it used intentionally in a game.

All these challenges really make me wish Security Breach added something similar as optional modes; which give a star on the menu for each one you complete. (Unlocking certain extras for each star level).
Just imagine :
- Freddyless mode (Tweaked to skip freddy requirements and cutscenes, but also make it longer/harder to get certain freddy-required stuff)
- No Jump mode (You cannot jump, some boxes are added to help you get to certain places; however mini music man's will now roam certain floors outside vents, just to up the difficulty).
- Giga Mode. (Vanny or possibly another animatronic) will be hunting you down throughout the game and will work like Giga Monty does. You can hide from them, which will cause them to despawn after a certain amount of time hiding; but will respawn after a while ahead of where you are.
(I would also like to add, they could add the moondrop effect for this and many give you a Dreadbear Foxy from VR to make it even scarier; like a nightmare is chasing you.)
- Real-Time Mode. (The clock will tick down every second and certain events won't skip the time forward or back. Make sure to get everything done before 6 AM, you don't want to be late).
- Walk Mode. (You cannot run, only walk. Pretty much the same though. Maybe add an enemy like Shadow bonnie that will jumpscare you if you stare at it too long to keep you on your toes?)
- Nightmare Mode (Vanessa remember to turn the lights off when the pizza plex is closed. You will need your torch more than even now.)
- Nightmare Mode + (Similar to Nightmare mode, the lights are off and- ...wait... did you hear that? ...I don't think we're alone. Something is moving in the shadows. Is that.... Freddy? No.... It looks much older... this doesn't look good. )
- Hard Mode (All animatronics are at highest difficulty, will respawn closer and specifically to block your way.)
- Harder Mode (Same as hard mode, but now certain areas are blocked off, you have to go the long way around this time)
- Cassidy Mode (You must 100% the game to get unlock this. From start to finish you will be hunted by something. Something that's like moondrop but fades away if you use a torch. You probably know who. That's right. Yellow Bear)
- Endo mode (All animatronics are replaced by Endo-Skeletons. Security bots will still be around but don't summon them. Still, don't get caught; the staff bots take up valuable time!)
Tbh I went a bit overboard but still, would be nice to add new ways to play the game!
Nightmare mode +, cassidy mode and walk mode sound epic.

I've got a few mode ideas for SB that might work;
Hacked Mode; Will seem like a normal playthrough of the game, except Freddy will also be hunting you down with the others at random, so always be alert around him.
“Hey guys, spiff here. Today we’re beating security breach without even opening the game. But spiff, you ask? How will we beat the game without opening it? Well, there’s this cool exploit. You see when you fall into the void…”

Alright Spiff impress me.

Ya know, this made me think about TVA moonman, and I think I know what it is,
I think that, over time, with every moon segment, he spawns slightly closer and closer every time, so getting the party pass so early causes an Integer Overflow (Basically Moondrop gets closer based on a number decreasing, which is based on the hour, so getting the party pass causes MD's distance meter to go negative, which will set it to the highest number, typically 255, so moondrop gets to instantly drop kick you into a wall.)

Upon seeing night mode, I think it would have been really cool to start off in night mode and have an optional mission to restore power to the pizzaplex maybe having to go to a fuse room in one of the early maintenance areas, but that you could skip it and keep the minimum energy consumption mode throughout, since I can't recall any points where it being light/dark matters (other than "whenever it's a time o'clock moon dude comes out to check if the timeline is doing well and energy is specifically diverted to the charging stations" which could work all the same)
Somebody should try to implement Constant nightmode into a mod, because that looks sick. Way more atmospheric

Honestly, yeah. I'm not glad it got released this broken, but in that state, it has provided a lot of entertainment for me
