- The winter shop work has begun with Matt and Andy servicing the sprayer. But Matt also has his friends at Delta Spindle come up to tend to a serious problem he found with the new cotton picker while he was washing it.

Strippers are so much easier then pickers lol. I’m sure glad for that. 😂
Yep that’s why it was at the auction 😢😢😢
Dear, About Business, check the mailbox.
Hey Matt, just ate supper with Delta Spindle crew, Stephen and Jacob. They said tonight's supper was courtesy of Griggs Farms....lol . I ordered a couple of extra jumbo margaritas 🍹 😋 Thanks. Lmao
Thank You.
Matt i dont know if i told you yet but change them pins in them baler belts that hold the baler belts together every season. They will be broke and you wont know it. The last year i ran our picker i broke a belt and it was in the module and I didn’t realize it until i was servicing the picker the next morning. We called the gin and warned them but there module feeder found it before they did.
And Southwest Georgia all the pickers I see I've got big old back tire like I said in Southwest Georgia they do and they are a lot of them around
Howdy Matt, Kelly, Andy
This is a late upload, but that's Cool with me, I've already watched all the latest Farming videos from all the Farming channels I'm subscribed to, so this is perfect, Thank you Matt for this late upload, now I can enjoy watching another very Cool Farming video, Stay safe, and Farm on my Friends, Peace
Andy appears to be a very good addition to your operation....handles semi, experienced with equip maintenance, excellent on vids, positive attitude, and oh yes, able to bail you out on cattle issues lol!
the good side of it you know stuff is done and not looking for paperwork of stuff they say was done
Hopefully this new purchase doesn't CHACHING you too bad. The video of when you drove it home at night time, you were so happy but as they say, there's a reason why equipment is at auction. Your new hired hand seems to have a level head on his shoulders 👍.
I’d recommend an analysis on that litter if you haven’t already done it. There are some shady farms that essentially dilute the litter after each flock with more wood shavings or peanut hulls to get more “volume”. The best litter is windrowed and only taken out of the houses after a couple years or more. Super concentrated.
I can sympathize with you on buying something used thinking you got a really good piece of equipment and then just keep finding stuff wrong. I bought a used tractor about two years ago thought I got a really good one for the money and I guess I still did but I am having to work on that thing a whole lot more than I thought I would
We got plenty of chicken litter here in Indiana can't get rid of it fast enough
Tell That truck driver he should inspect his rear axle suspension bushings. when he hit the brakes the first time as you were pulling him out, it looked like that rear axle had some movement in relation to forward tandem.
at about 17:55 in video.
Matt send Dylan a picture of that red combine tell him thats what a combine looks like hahaha 😂🤣
Get a John Deere and then you'll know what to combine look like I love John Deere
Our 9960 was a 5 row machine new. 30” cotton was the worst decision we ever made I think.
Why at 12:00 am but love the videos
My guess is he hit the wrong time frame meaning pm instead of am. Had to get these done before we left for Mexico!
If your going to be big time, your going to have to spend big time. Both in equipment, fertilizer, chemicals, seed and labor. Hope there's not very much wrong with the picker.
I would never recommend a dump trailer to anyone spend the extra money and get a belt trailer it'll save you the money from buying another truck after you tip over
get rabbit poo its really good
