Just bought one, DRIVES LIKE A DREAM!!!!! Great looking and very comfortable interior and the V-6 makes this full size car move with authority, plenty of power to spare.
Such a beautiful car. I just wish GM would bring back the two door coupe SS and Convertible with a 6.2L V8 small block automatic and manual transmission
I have a 17 Impala with 46K miles on it. Just getting ready to put new tires on it. Otherwise it hasn't asked for a thing. I couldn't always say that about a 3 year old car.
joeblackakareaper... Yes forty grand is a lot for an old Impala but not for the new ones which have most of the features and options of a seventy grand Cadillac and it is built on the Cadillac ATS platform. The Impala is a lot of bang for the buck. I know because I have one.
Just got a 2015 CPO Impala LTZ this July. Every option except for the Radar-cruise. LOVE that feature on the Wife's 2014 loaded Regal Turbo AWD. My '15 LTZ is the gorgeous Burgundy-Metallic with Black Leather. Traded-in my loaded '08 Burgundy Impala LTZ with the Tan interior. Jeez I love this newer version!!! Feels like a luxury car compared to the "plasticky-feeling" '08. I've got the optional 20" rims shown in this vid (option AQ9 I believe...). They're only available on the LTZ, not standard even there! I'm just about 6'3", with a longer torso. I have headroom issues in 98% of vehicles. Not here, even under the big sunroof! I can even sit behind my own front seat setting, with plenty of room!!! To ME, that's amazing! Couldn't do that in the previous Impala. I'm in Fargo, ND. I don't have to say how much I love the heated-seats & steering-wheel!
Hey, almost a year later do you still love this car? Asking because I saw the one you described on the market almost to a tee including the burgundy metallic color. Thx in advance for your opinion.
@@Israel-nb7ip --- Hey Dude! Yes, I love my baby just as much, maybe MORE, than when I got it in July '18!! I still smile when I walk up to it! It only sees Ethanol-free, Top-Tier class Premium. Using Seafoam once a month in the tank keeps her fuel clean.
@@Wyn61 cool...thank you for the response. The one I saw is off the market but I'm going to keep looking. Glad you're enjoying it to this day. I thought the price tag would have leveled off a bit since it was discontinued but it's still coming at at a pretty hefty tag for low mileage top tier Premier models. I'll keep looking, though. Thanks again!
Taurus has 20cubic ft. in the trunk. Taurus is the competitor to the Impala. Taurus and Impala are both 200.plus inches long. Fusion is not. Taurus is 60. Inches tall. That is 5 feet tall. Fusion is a MID-SIZE car. Not FULL-SIZED.
Just got this car and wish I noticed there was only 1 12 volt plug and it’s located only in the center council. Makes it hard to plug in radar detector. That’s my only gripe other than that, love the car.
I like the feel of a larger car or SUV, also I think the Ford Taurus is little better style wise even though it hasn’t had big make over in years. The Impala a very well equipped car for $40,000.00 when compared to similarly equipped Taurus.
I checked out the Impalas and took a test drive. Very nice car, plenty of features everywhere. It has Cadillac type quiet smooth ride and handling. It is just too bad the Impala is such a poor seller. It is a nice looking car except for that horribly ugly rear end. Newer Toyota Camry has same rear design. Impala is a "Classic" badge, why can't they build a car that reflects the heritage (like Camaro)? I don't think GM will ever recover from the Holden "SS" debacle.
V6 with 6 speed is a winning combo! Wayy better than my 2018 V6 Camaro with iffy tranny known for hwy shudder at 35K. Dealer has band aid fix but eventually needs servicing again.
I used to have an 06 Impala SS with that engine and was glad to get rid of it. Now have a '17 with the 3.6L and there is about 50 lbs less torque but the horse power is the same. For the driving I do I could only get about 300 miles comfortably (330 was pushing it) on a tank in the 06. With the '17 V6 I can easily get 400mi doing the same driving.
I understand little if ANYTHING has been changed/updated/refreshed in this car since 2014, but owners of the 2014/15 impala's, please confirm this: Are there any major reliability and/or expensive repairs to watch out for on the 2014/15 impalas compared to the 2016-present ones? "All New, Totally Redesigned" model years in general (much less from GM) seem to be the most risky years to buy a brand new (and possibly used) car from. But I do see well equipped 3-4 y/o versions holding their value pretty well, even well above 100k miles... If I were to wanna save additional $$$ on a current gen 2lt (with ALL options) or ltz impala, would I be perfectly fine reliability/repairwise in a 2014/2015 with as much as 60k miles? Or should I just simply start saving up for a downpayment for the 2016-present ones where whatever early production problems/bugs are most likely nonexistent by then?
i don't know if you've already found this out, but for anyone that wonders this, that grille is a part of the Adaptive Cruise Control option. If you want the Adaptive Cruise Control, you'll get that grille.
I have a Monte Carlo SS with the Hemi engine. Looking for something new it’s between the Impala or Malibu. I need something good with gas and not too expensive to fix. I’m a Chevy person, any suggestions???
Awaken Butterfly there is nothing between the Malibu and impala Malibu is their midsized sedan the Impala is their full size sedan. Unless you want to go small get a Cruze LT
DEFINITELY You cupcake..... My gorgeous 2015 LTZ (with the big 20" wheels) gets lots of looks. Burgundy-Metallic with Black Leather. I'm good with my ROM Polisher, so she really pops!
Just bought one, DRIVES LIKE A DREAM!!!!! Great looking and very comfortable interior and the V-6 makes this full size car move with authority, plenty of power to spare.
Chris Waits totally agree I traded my 2015 Malibu lt for a new 2018 impala lt...such an amazing car with that v6
This car has plenty of space for passengers. I'm 6'3" and I have great space behind me. The trunk is big and spacious for cargo...
I love the truck, we can take the whole family and have room
This vehicle is definitely on my vision board ❤️
💯
There are one of the impalas are around for decades of generations a blast from the past and present vehicles of the future.
That is a very good car GM needs to come back with the Impala
Such a beautiful car. I just wish GM would bring back the two door coupe SS and Convertible with a 6.2L V8 small block automatic and manual transmission
Yes! We need as many V8's as we can get before the eco-brigade kills them.
This is 2020 not 1994
Very nice car I love the rims, awesome interior. Nice Review Cameron!
Thank you Andy!
Why does Chevy always use that nasty yellow beige colored trim on the interior no matter what color the actual seats are. Huge con.
I have a 17 Impala with 46K miles on it. Just getting ready to put new tires on it. Otherwise it hasn't asked for a thing. I couldn't always say that about a 3 year old car.
Love the shoes on this one...they make the whip pop out😎🚘🚗
Thats what I was looking for the 20s but couldn't find one with them at the time.
Got this car love it got it for 23500 before taxes with 631 miles on it no brainer Bap
Man that was a good price
Love full-size sedans
40 grand for an Impala? That is insane ! TheReaper!

I have a 15 LTZ too. It's on my Channel
That's the interior color I want. Haven't bought one yet, but I plan on getting one soon!
If I were in the market for a full sized sedan it would be a VERY DIFFICULT toss up between the Ford Fusion and the Impala.
Jordan F The Fusion sits just below the Taurus, so the Taurus is the full-size sedan. I believe the Fusion is a mid-size.
VQ3713 Fusion is a mid size but it has a bigger trunk (16 ft to 13.3 in the Impala) 😂
Impala has a 18.9 cubic foot
trunk.
realimbored668 stop.....just stop you have no idea how wrong you are .

One of my favorite car
I like ram truck, Chevrolet impala, karma revero....

Oh my God I have the same year same color same color seats but mine's an LT with just heated seats

Good review, thanks. I replaced my Taurus with an Impala, and I like it a lot more.
i would love this car, but honestly i have concerns about the long term reliability. i'm leaning toward the toyota avalon

Thanks a bunch for sharing.
Love this car!!!
I would like to have one but I don't know how much will cost 2015
Wish my grandmother had this instead of a 2014 Toyota Camry SE.
Can you do a 2018 Honda Accord whenever they release in a few weeks?
Yes
don't know why but Honda accord 18 turned out to be garbage
Can you do a 2018 Nissan Maxima
....Ever wonder how much better sales would be if it had a 5.3 liter V8....;-),,,,,,,,,

troy g how you feel about your 17’ Impala now? Do you still love it? Have you had any problems with it?
6.2 L,V8 sounds better
how many americans can afford gas for that engine these days?
Thats why they made the ss

Get a new - newer model with low miles so you'll get the most out of your warranty
Hey Cameron, was kinda wondering if you can do the new XC60?
Thank your
Cameron, what do you think about chevy volt?
Does that grill come standard on the premier model? Or do you have to pay more for it?
i don't know if you've already found this out, but for anyone that wonders this, that grille is a part of the Adaptive Cruise Control option. If you want the Adaptive Cruise Control, you'll get that grille.
BOSK thanks! But yeah I found out about it. I got my car without that option so unfortunately I didn't get the grille.
Shaun Buckingham I find that grill tbh super ugly
Its not ugly at all. Maybe to you. I want that grill TBH.
Tiene alguna posibilidad de que llegue a la Argentina ,el impala o el Malibú
2:33 was so uncalled for
I’m trying to purchase one of these now do they still sale them
👍
Does any one know the difference between the LTZ / 2LZ / premier ?
Turkiyeye gelecekmi
It's a shame that Chevy is putting the Impala to rest. 😢 It had a hell of a run.
nice car I need to get me one
How much 💰
Nice review but can you review a genesis g80 3.3t sport

billy fatbowe it's silent so not sure wtf you're on
This car is not large. Not even as big as a midsize from the 1960's.
Paul Cheek idiot alert....
@ Paul cheeks Read your comment out loud and think about what you just said lol
Is it just me or is this interior pretty ugly for a modern car
vince gredo it's just you
Yeah it’s definitely you
DEFINITELY You cupcake.....
My gorgeous 2015 LTZ (with the big 20" wheels) gets lots of looks. Burgundy-Metallic with Black Leather. I'm good with my ROM Polisher, so she really pops!

@@CameronsCarReviews OMG my comment was hearted
Chevrolet Impala is a good looking car I think so.but I am a Toyota Avalon.man to me the too car is cool I will buy a Chevrolet are Toyota
On of the most agile enterer steering wheel is bad
Yucky, can you do a 2018 Ford Taurus?
realimbored668 The Taurus has been discontinued
Chevy Lamar I still se dealers ordering 2018 Tauruses, they're the same ones as the 2013 refresh
Chevy Lamar see*
only the Taurus SHO discontinued
TheGlamoureboy no you can still order a 2018 Taurus SHO, Ford still has it listed on their website
Toyota Avalon is way much better choice than this v6 frontwheel drive crap
