I had watched this movie in 1981. How beautiful and innocent that time was. I think this movie was the pioneer in its style and all such romantic musical films were released after it. It was a trend setting movie. Sunjay dutt's Rocky, Jackie Shroff's Hero, Sunny Deol's Betaab and later Amir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan's love stories were in the following years of 1980s and 1990s. While 1970s era was of totally action heros. This movie suddenly changed the mood of cinema goers. And now I'm watching it after 40 years. What a nostalgia. Everything has changed, streets, people, their emotions, days, nights and particularly evenings. 😭🙏

In 1981,this movie released. I was reading at that time in class 8. With my parents, I had seen this movie at Rourkela, odisha. That was a memorable day for me. My parents stayed 40km away from Rourkela, at Rajgangpur. That day was Sunday. By bus we came to Rourkela. Matinee show saw Manoj kumar movie kranti at Razak talkies, evening show saw Love story at konark talkies. Both the movies, my father purchased tickets in black. After seeing both the movies we returned to our house by train to Rajgangpur. Now I am fifty. My father passed away in 2002. But this happy memory will remain with me forever.

Old film 🎥 of 1981. Full of Love, Little violence, ample comedy, negligible action. Overall very nice film . Excellent songs and music. Simple story. High moral values. I liked the scene when Pinky slapped Bunty for such beautiful reason. Children should respect their Parents. Role of a good father by Mr. Ram , goes begging for happiness of his son keeping aside his ego.
