Ajay and Birju are brothers. Birju encourages Ajay, who loves cricket, to become a professional cricketer, and he does so. But his rise to fame creates many enemies for him, one of whom is fellow cricketer Vikram. With a help of a woman friend, Vikram gets Ajay to get drunk and act disorderly and gets him dismissed from playing any professional cricket. Ajay's brother Birju is disappointed too, and both brothers quarrel, and Ajay runs away from home. Ajay's girlfriend Ritu and her parents too are disappointed with Ajay. Ajay takes up drinking alcohol to forget his woes. Will Ajay ever redeem himself in the eyes of his relatives and his fans?

This is a good film. And Kumar Gaurav’s acting is faultless + He is so gorgeous! Why didn’t it work? I can’t understand when many sub-par movies became popular around that time? This is a real mystery.
Because looks are not everything all the time. New actors come and replace the old ones, like Salman, Aamir, Akshay, Ajay Devgan came and replaced Kumar Gaurav. It's funny that Salman Khan used to borrow clothes from Kumar Gaurav and even his car sometimes. I think Kumar Gaurav was not a very competitive person who was desperate enough.
