I watched this movie atleast 20 times and everytime I enjoyed it. Hrishikesh mukherjee was true legend and one of the best director. His all movies like Anand, Golmaal, bawarchi, Namak Haram, Guddi, Mili, Abhimaan, Anupama, Khubsoorat, Naram Garam, bemisal etc etc were masterpiece. He was genius directors. Thanks to hrishikesh da for making so great movies and we are still watching his movies with out getting bored. Love u hrishikesh da❤
Dharmendra's acting in this film is superb. He is a great and fantastic comedy actor. He looks so handsome. My all time favourite heroes is Dharmendra, Vinod khanna and Akshay Khanna.

Actually I am short of words to express my feelings about this master piece. This much pure comedy can never be recreated by anyone. I have stopped counting how many times I have watched this film. I have this in my computer and watch it whenever I want to relax. It's a Hindi version of the Bengali movie "Chaddabesi" meaning imposter where Uttam Kumar and Madhabi Mukherji played the main roles. I read the story in Bengali maybe 65 years ago and had the best laugh while reading the most hilarious story.
I prefer to listen to this film.. and every time .. each character and scene comes alive in my mind. Even without seeing it, you can visualize it. Simply the greatness of the script.

Dharmendra's acting in this film is superb. He is a great and fantastic comedy actor. He looks so handsome. My all time favourite heroes is Dharmendra, Vinod khanna and Akshay Khanna.

What a Gem Movie......such a wonderful Movie. watch over n over......
Actually I am short of words to express my feelings about this master piece. This much pure comedy can never be recreated by anyone. I have stopped counting how many times I have watched this film. I have this in my computer and watch it whenever I want to relax. Above all what I have written here, I strongly and surely want to go into this story in that era and want to live this story by being a part of this pious story. Actually I earnestly wish that this type of life one must be in to live.

Fantastic movie
It's a Hindi version of the Bengali movie "Chaddabesi" meaning imposter where Uttam Kumar and Madhabi Mukherji played the main roles. I read the story in Bengali maybe 65 years ago and had the best laugh while reading the most hilarious story.

I prefer to listen to this film.. and every time .. each character and scene comes alive in my mind. Even without seeing it, you can visualize it. Simply the greatness of the script.

However best was om Prakash and then Dharmendra...Amitabh was just add on...but it's all Hrishikesh film...y om Prakash? Bcoz first he is old n senior artiste and second his character was not that big while Dharmendra was a superstar and his Character was all around the film so I give more marks to om Prakash and other actors / characters were add on...
