also some characters can counter the push frame traps. as soon as you get hit in the air you can active an ability to counter there frame trap. you can active claw rush, lightning, thrust and vader choke in the air after you get framed. would be the same for anakin and obi off of the thrust frame trap. great tutorial tho

What abilities do you have to use for Anakin and Obi-Wan (also do you mean mauls choke or grievous’ thrust surge)
@@BusinessOnCatoNeimoidia it’s pretty risky to use pull, your charged abilities are also good it just depends if they go off fast enough to get the punish hits. defense rush is very reliable and passionate is also good as long as you know they aren’t gonna mash you through the ability. also i’m sure you could do it off of mauls choke but i’m not sure how that would play out. but i meant grevious thrust surge frame

You should have added Darth Vader's frame trap. His works
better if you do focused rage then the choke + swing at the same time, then repeat lightsaber swings
Yeah, I do have a tutorial on that although I'm not proud of it because it feels a bit too OP. It's the kinda thing I would only do to someone toxic, because it feels disrespectful
Same here, I use it sometimes when its getting into a long duel where no one has taking any damage, or when the timer is at 1:30 to 1 minute

How is this a frame trap? I play multiple fighting games at a high level so I’m well versed in terminology. How is this a frame trap? From my understanding these moves send them flying and they cannot do anything while in the air unless they have a force ability. Meaning they are basically free to be hit until they touch ground. You optimizing dmg and positioning to get that dmg in that gap isn’t a frame trap. That’s just tech. A frame trap is when you let’s say hit your opponent or they block and then you do another attack preemptively when they thought they could dodge or punish or counter or take their turn back with frame advantage. The closest thing this game has to frame traps is the actual parry system. Frame traps are used when you’re either in negative or positive frames and do a move that traps your opponent from doing a punish, counter, or taking their turn back. I don’t understand how you’re frame trapping… I’m new to bf2 but this seems like a way to stop their momentum for a combo. That’s tech unless I’m just a noob who doesn’t know enough of this game yet. Also I’m not coming at you, I’m just curious so I can truly understand what’s going on.
Yeah, I get where you are coming from, the terminology in bf2 is super confusing and I disagree with many aspects of it. When you swing straight after a ragdoll ability and hit them as they are being pushed away, they do what is called an "air recovery" and that's the term to describe the motion they do in the air. The whole process is usually called a "frame trap" combo, but I honestly don't know who decided to call it that because clearly, a frame trap means something else universally👍
The terminology is used differently per game
Vader can also frametrap with his choke to get unlimited swings and still have the choke going as normal (usually if you hit your choke subject it ends instantly). This can deal insane damage

I accidentally did this with obi wan against Kylo ren once and got super confused about what happens

Yes with his pull, or if you have a friend you can frame trap with his freeze and be able to hit them while they stay in the freeze
How do u double parry with Yoda? I csn do it with maul luke and pretty much everyone else but him
It should just be the same as everyone else. His slower swing speed doesn't really effect it.
only issue with it is that it can get you killed sometimes especially as Yoda
Yeah, these days I always dash after pushing because then you're set up nicely for a lunge. Cause of his slow animations I don't really frame trap with Yoda much, I mainly use the ability to drain stamina tbh.
Frame trapping with yoda is bad, normally u land a hit then a rush compared to two hits
Yeah, that's why people should know how to control whether they frame trap or not. I always rush after push though.

It’s really broken and just plain out cheap but all you have to do is choke and push the attack button at the same time this allows your enemies to stay choked but you are free and can hit them multiple times making it a one hit kill combo

@@brys4621 for light side I recommend han and for dark I recommend iden. Both good blaster heroes with good damage. It can be great fun and you have to be more sweaty and manage your dodges rather tapping two buttons on a controller for a saber hero
Frame trading with obi is useless unless you have a rush it's best just to wait and get the 2 hits than rush
Yeah, very true. Although I prefer to do it on low health because if you lunge and then get the slow animation a smart enemy can punish. Sometimes I just prefer to get my 1 hit and then safely regen.
