Nice little video. I had to fly for 25 hrs before I could construct a sentence as to how good the v4 is. 🤣 So many people were and even still are suspicious of a 2 liner C for what ever reason BUT this really is a true C with all the benefits of a 2 liner and its performance. One day I'm going to land at your parents and they will wonder how you've grown a beard 🤣
Hi there yes compared to the sigma 10, the sigma 10 is definitely more agile in roll. I did find the volt a little bit "plankie". But I can live with that because the performance is so much better
But I've only flown it once so I will have to flight more to give you more feedback but I think in terms of pilot demands, I don't think it's any more demanding than the Sigma. Felt just like a normal C wing to inflate, but definitely faster and better Glide
To be honest it's hard to say because I haven't blown it once because of the bad weather but I would say it's definitely more plankie than the sigma 10 but I would say the performance is definitely worth it. Because you can tell immediately that he has so much more performance and Efficiency
@@johnrudge777 thank you very much I fly with advance at the moment and what I like is its construction quality and the details in its gliders how is this comparison with the volt4
@@lifeintheair22 yes I agree advanced quality is absolutely excellent and I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of the Volt4 as well the attention to detail seems just as good as advance at first impressions

Lol! Brilliant! Thanks Russell!
Great video. It'll be a while before my next purchase but I'll definitely keep the Volt in mind when I'm ready. Enjoying my Epsilon 9 in the meantime.
Thank you Bob for your comment and that's great to hear you're enjoying the Epsilon 9. I'm told it's a fantastic wing. 👍
@@johnrudge777 I like it. Only recently upgraded from the Alpha 7 so I’ll be in this one for a bit yet 😁
Nice movie John…wander how one of these Might like a life soaring around the mountains of Kerry 🇨🇮
nice, can you please compare it to the sigma 10 a bit more, agility, easy of use, is it more demanding to fly, speed.

hello, a question about the change from advance to aire design volt4, what an impression

Where you flying the sigma 11? Did you shorten your brakes in the end?
Hi Rob. No, this is my new Air Design Volt4. Not shortend brakes yet.
@@johnrudge777 sorry I meant which sigma were you flying before? The 10 or 11? Just got the volt 4 but not flown it yet
It was the Sigma 10.
@@johnrudge777 I saw another review and I think they said take a full wrap.
Hi there no it was the sigma 10 and I haven't actually shortened the brakes yet, I'm going to just wait and see how I get on
