Honestly it's not about the smudges dead ass slammed my srt8 by the window and the thing got so misaligned I had to take it to the dealer to get fixed and it took a month to get back so really don't give a fuck about smudges but if you are mad or just got some heavy hands you can mess uo the window to wear it either goes uo too high when you open and close it the window would miss the seal cause it would go up just for enough to keep knocking it out
