When a friend asked if I would make a video of the flood enveloping his farm, how could I say no.
The River Foulness has broken it's banks and this is the result.
Excuse the typo in the video, it’s supposed to say the 4th January 2024…..

Truly devastating. Many years ago I had to spray potatoes on a farm near Holme on Spalding Moor when the Foulness had burst its banks.That was bad that year helicopter s were given permission to spray for blight ,but it was all too late .That was bad but doesn't even to start to compare with this .I really do feel it for the farmers.
