Even on my scale, when I started working, my mum would tell everyone that I earned more than her and it pissed me off. I want to be the one who chooses whether to disclose that information or not, I feel like it's very personal (and I was earning a very normal salary for someone with a master's who works in a public administration, so it was nothing to brag about). It might differ from country to country but here in Belgium, it's usually not something that you ask someone and you don't tell everyone what other people earn. I guess it's probably the same in Sweden. Bear in mind that Felix doesn't come from a family of multimillionaires and didn't grow up with strangers constantly talking about his family's earnings.

He detailed everything required to ensure the person receiving the item has as little burden as possible (tax, registration fees, licensing, etc.). It's actually incredibly difficult to accomplish and Mr. Beast has said in the past that he's had to basically pay for all those extra things out of pocket when he gives things away. Which is why his tax forms at the end of the year are INSANELY complicated.

About how Felix says 'money doesn't matter', he obviously knows that having money gives you more ability to do the things you need and want to do in life but there is a cap on that. There is a certain level of wealth at which your mental health doesn't increase anymore or might even decrease from the amount of stress that managing such a large amount of money can give you. I personally am living below average means financially and am relatively satisfied, I do still experience financial stress and often can't buy things I want but I can afford the bare necessities. I don't have fancy clothes, a car or a very comfortable house but I have enough to live and get something I REALLY want every once in a while. It's easier to get excited about things that cost money when you don't have much of it, I imagine if you're really rich and you're a decent person you might feel guilt over not spending your money in the best way you could.
I agree. My uncle did alot of travelling in his life, and he said that alot of men, women and children he would meet in developing countries, although their situations are devastating, would try and give what little they had to him. They have no sense of materialism or greed, they are grateful for what they have with the people they love and that's enough. Of course money is so so helpful in so many areas of life, and people who are suffering deserve safety and the ability to live comfortable lives, but I think there is truth to the saying "money can't buy ULTIMATE happiness".

About how Felix says 'money doesn't matter', he obviously knows that having money gives you more ability to do the things you need and want to do in life but there is a cap on that. There is a certain level of wealth at which your mental health doesn't increase anymore or might even decrease from the amount of stress that managing such a large amount of money can give you.
I personally am living below average means financially and am relatively satisfied, I do still experience financial stress and often can't buy things I want but I can afford the bare necessities. I don't have fancy clothes, a car or a very comfortable house but I have enough to live and get something I REALLY want every once in a while. It's easier to get excited about things that cost money when you don't have much of it, I imagine if you're really rich and you're a decent person you might feel guilt over not spending your money in the best way you could.

My uncle did alot of travelling in his life, and he said that alot of men, women and children he would meet in developing countries, although their situations are devastating, would try and give what little they had to him. They have no sense of materialism or greed, they are grateful for what they have with the people they love and that's enough. Of course money is so so helpful in so many areas of life, and people who are suffering deserve safety and the ability to live comfortable lives, but I think there is truth to the saying "money can't buy ULTIMATE happiness".
