Jokes aside, this is an awesome among us themed animation that tuched my heart of impostor. If i would have been there with the job of killing all the crewmates, i would actually fail because i can't kill a potential father. But when is an among us game i fail at killing people because in my group of friends there is the meme that i am the impostor always, even if i didn't do anything yet! But thats a story for another time...

With his last shred of humanity, brought to the front of his mind by their tears, he herded them into the escape pod. As the door sealed one turned and saw him outside the pod and asked "wait! What about you?" A hollow voice, one he no longer recognized as his own he said his last "it's already too late for me" he hit the button, blasting the pod away from the ship. The lights continued to flash as the reactor overloaded, but he couldnt see them. It could however, as its tendrils reached for him, to punish for letting them escape.
The ship detonated, a white hot flash in the cold uncaring tomb of space, incinerating everything inside in a nuclear fireball that disappeared as fast as it had formed.
She had seen it, from behind the glass of the pod door, the tendrils emerging from his suit, trying to stop what had once been a person from saving them, she kept the others from seeing it though. Hopefully it was finally over.

I'm tryimg so hard not to cry- I thought the imposter was going to kill the crewmate but the imposter gets crewmate and mini crewmates into the escape pod just hurts.
Just To Let You Know, Escape Pods Aren't Actually In The Game(Yet) So IT Probably Murdered Them, They're just hallucinating escaping due to the lack of air, They'll probably die soon. (Being ejected is just you being thrown into space, not being sent to Earth in an Escape pod, So don't try to be a smart ass)

That was his mission, his sole reason for being alive was to destroy this ship and all living things on it. It wasnt even a question, it was an instinct. He hadnt even thought about slicing his fellow "crewmates" throats and then without any remorse framed another innocent crewmate.
He had a partner, a while ago...
But they were sloppy... caught red handed, the idiot. He had to vote for him, if he didnt, he risked riling suspicion among the other crewmates
So from there on, he took the sole responsibility of slaughtering the rest.
However, there was one crewmate that foolishly stood by him everytime he was accused.
"He was in the vents because the lights scared him!"
"The tasks confused him, so I helped him!"
"Purple where were you? You came out of Medbay just after him, and now theres a body in Medbay? Kinda Sus...."
"The Logs are laggy Blue! You know that!"
One after another, the crewmates began to dissapear...Yet, The Crewmate continued to vouch for him.
He had to say, he wouldve been caught a few instances if it werent for that naive crewmate
Soon, he slaughtered the last crewmate...
He walked down the bloodstained walls, as the reactor alarm went off and the lights flashed red. His knife openly displayed.
Who was going to report him?
Who was left?
He heard the sound of faint sobbing echoing down the hallway
He stalked into Admin, knife drawn and ready to be coated with fresh blood.
But he then realized, it was The Crewmate who helped him complete his mission...
She was the only Crewmate left on the station. They voted Red off last night.
She was soothing four smaller sized crewmates. All bearing the colours of his past victims.
He approached The Crewmate, his blade raised.
He put his hand on the Crewmate's shoulder, the mini crewmates trembled at his sight, they knew what he did, the horror he was.
But they couldnt say anything.
"The reactor" She sobbed, "It's too late isnt it?" The Crewmate said softly
He stood in silence for a moment
"No," He said,
The Crewmate looked up in surprise.
He picked up The Crewmate and corralled the mini crewmates into the escape pod.
"Wait! What about you?" The Crewmate shouted, banging on the pod's window.
He didnt say a word, he stuck his hand on to the launch acess pad.
"INVAILD HANDPRINT"
He punched the pad as hard as he could.
"ACESS GRANTED"
The escape pod launched away in a blaze of white fire, leaving him alone.
The Crewmate desperately clinged to the cold surface of the window as her and children jetted into the abyss.
Watching through the stations window was Him. Tendrils started growing out of him, and incasing the window of the station where he stood.
She gasped in horror as the lights flickered off.
The numb shock settled into her as she slid down the wall of the space shuttle.
"You've killed us White! We are all dead and it's all your fault! You're next White, You're Next!" The sound of Red's shrill voice echoed through the ejection room, She watched his body twirl comically through the empty void, she tried not to think of how he would die of hypothermia, or starvation. Even if he was an imposter, she couldnt imagine that fate on anyone...
Tears fell down her face. This entire time, she had been sticking up for the enemy.
She was responsible for the deaths of her crewmates.
Why did he spare her?
The reactor gave its final warning, but he didnt pay any mind as he watched the shuttle float away into the darkness.
"This....is the price of the guilty..." He said, "I must die, so you can live, we will never be able to co-exist peacefully,"
The Reactor gave a countdown, and He smiled,
Maybe he found it humourous that he would spare something so pathetic. Maybe he found it more humourous that he was willing to trade his life for hers.
Whatever it may be...
"Learn not to trust too deeply White..." He chuckled menacingly, as the reactor blew, igniting the entire station in a fiery combustion.

Exactly, the parasite's goal is to survive and only that. So it wasn't the parasite letting them go, it was the imposter's last bits of control/humanity left.

We never actually know whats happens after the impostor wins, does he die? Does he starve since he cant go anywhere? What was the point of sabotaging a space ship with a destination
The parasite doesn't care, the parasite barely even thinks. The parasite only cares about one thing, to grow. I feel like the imposter's last bits of humanity sent them off to Earth. Parasites don't care what happens after and I presume the parasite kills the impostor due to taking all it's nutrients. I am also under the assumption that the space ship will turn into a nest for the parasites due to the things branching off. In conclusion, what I believe will happen is:
- The imposter will die
- The parasites turn the space ship into a nest for more parasites
- The dead crewmates will be food for the new parasites
- To the parasite there was no point, the only "point" is to grow and reproduce, it's simple mind can't really think much else, it's in it's nature.
Sorry if I'm going too in-depth, I just like to think about stuff lol.

Spoons Did you know the imposters was actually based off the movie made in 1982 Called “The Thing”. The thing basically is a parasite that slowly takes over the body and transforms the human into a monster (Which means the imposter isn’t an alien at all just turned into something different). The people the thing infected dont know they’re infected until its too late and they’re fully infected. There is probably no cure. So Among us is basically people getting onto a ship with 1-3 infected, and they try to kill as many Humans as they can, there is no point in doing this, they where just brain washed into doing those things by and infection. There is proof if you look at the beta from 2018 Among us you would run around killing people but the name of the imposter was titled “Infected”.

How I see it is like this:
Before the game starts (when you are in the drop ship) a crewmate (or more) gets infected with a parasite, the parasite is slowly but surely killing them, that’s why if you are an impostor you get nervous and/or excited at the start of the game, because you are terrified/excited about what you are about to do, while the game progresses you become calmer, the way I see it it’s the impostor slowly loosing consciousness of what they are doing and the parasite taking over, at the start you even sometimes hesitate killing people, but as the game goes on you kinda stop caring, if the impostor wins the crewmates remaining use a mini-ship to evacuate, or maybe they get killed by the impostor or are infected by the parasite. If you win by tasks i assume the ship has enough power to recognize who the impostors are and throw them into space
Possibly the ship can tell that said people didn’t do any tasks, yet still the task bar is filled up. Not alarms go off before the task bar is full, because the ship is programmed to except the possibility that someone might just be waiting for the last minute. Once the information that the task bar is filled and someone did no task is out, the crew would do whatever to said person.
That’s my idea on the winning by tasks thing.

The impostors last conscious moments as they pushed the button and watched the last of the crew escape as the parasite takes them under forever now-
Can you imagine the relief they would feel, watching the pod fly off, knowing that at least they're safe? That the impostor wont have to live with the idea of killing that many more?

Considering that the imposter doesn't have to kill all of the crewmates to win, just enough that the crewmate are even with the imposters, there's a chance that the imposter lets the survivors leave to take care of the mini crewmates. I think that would be really sweet. Amazing animation!

Here’s my interpretation.
Egg is the last survivor they have gathered all the crew children in one place so they feel safe. Because they were in one place they didn’t know that the other crew made before them had been killed. Plant the imposter already feels bad about killing in front of crew mate children. Maybe a maternal instinct on the alien imposter’s part? They know that the children will die if they stay on the ship with them. So in a act of mercy they spare egg and take them and the children to the only escape pod.
After the pod has launched. Hopefully the planet of origin for crew mates. Plant is the last living thing on board. Slowly fading away as the spaceship is damaged by space debris and astroids. Without knowledge on how to run the ship the shields will eventually shut down and the cannons won’t be able to shoot the astroids.
That’s why in my opinion there’s always one crewmate left after every game. To take care of the pets and children.
Edit: if you look closely you can see that egg has a crew child of their own.
I'd like to think this is how it ends when the Crewmate is the only one left alive with the Imposter, the Imposter let the last one go.

I imagined a scene where crewmates that has little minis and when their Guardian/Owner has been killed or voted off. The Imposter, instead of killing the minis they let them go with the last surviving Crewmate.

Alternatively, the impostor(s) might have already won. If this was the only impostor, they win as soon as there is only one crewmate left, so if this were the last crewmate, then the impostor might have already won and decided to show mercy to the defeated. After all, impostors never kill their victims' pets, so perhaps the impostor succeeded in stopping the Skeld's mission and just wanted to let the mini-crewmates get home, with the assistance of some adult supervision in the form of the last surviving crewmate.

'Family' that's what food called their groups when they were genetically close. And this family was held by food that called itself Blue. Blue had entered commands into the core and knelt down to hug the progeny of the other Food This One and The Other hunted down. As This One stalked closer it could hear the progeny:
"Can we go home?"
"Daddy are we going to die?"
"Is it going to hurt?"
"Is mommy going to kill us too?"
This One stopped, the partially consumed brain This One was merged with suddenly flashed with memories. This One and Blue at the academy, This One holding one it's Host's own progeny. Blue naming This One it's progeny's Goat father? No God Father. More and more memories flooded This One and it stopped. This One was part of this family, no Host was, still the feelings pushed through. If this ship crashed then The Other and This One could hunt every Food on the planet. Every... Family. Reaching forward This One grabbed Blue and guided him and the five progeny to the escape pod. Wordlessly This One slammed the button to eject them out towards Earth. Just then:
*WARNING CORE BREACH IN ONE MINUTE* This One stared out the window ignoring as The Other came running down the hall screaming, using it's stolen voice to tell something about disarming the reactor. I continued to ignore the yelling until a deep growling sound filled my ears and a flash of light filled my eyes.

I LOVE these depictions of the imposter being an alien/monster in these comics instead of just another crewmate. It adds a sense of lore with the game.
Remember guys, even an alien parasite wich infiltrates between the crew of an unknown species just for kill them can have feelings and compassion

My head was frying itself, red filling my entire view. I saw blue squatting to comfort the crying mini crewmates, all of which had seen the fate of their family. A knife in my hand, I slowly approached blue. My head was splitting with the pain and my thoughts were muddled by the one command blaring through my body,"Kill Everyone". The parasite was slowly making its way out of my suit, growing off of the nutrients it had received by killing so many others. I stood still behind blue, my mind fighting back for control against the damn parasite. The mini crewmates were crying into blues shoulder, thinking his fate was going to be the same like the others. Red, brown, black, white, pink, yellow, orange, and purple were all gone. I had their lives on my hands, all because of the parasite that had snuck aboard our ship during our trip to the planet Polus. The parasite commanded by body to kill blue, my legs going against my will, my hand reaching out to crush his body. I put my hand on his shoulder and clenched my other hand into a fist. I steered him and the mini crewmates through the ship, the parasite slowly corroding what was left of my consciousness. I put him and the mini crewmates into the escape pod, my hand shaking as the parasite was slowly taking control of my body once again. I slammed the hatch separating them from me, my mind accepting the fate I was facing, but I refused to let them die. They were my friend and their children. I couldn't let them fall to the hands of this god damn parasite. I pressed the button to launch the space pod, sending them back to Earth. As soon as my body followed my final command, I felt my mind give in to the parasite. I had saved them from the fate so many others had fallen from. I had saved them from the fate of the others. As the parasite grew in size slowly enveloping the space station, I looked through the window and watched as blue escaped to Earth. I finally relaxed, as I knew that everything was fine now, I looked at what the parasite was doing and resigned myself to the fate. The Impostor about to kill the last crewmate, but when that Impostor saw the crewmate and mini crewmates, the Impostor just feel horrible. And then the crewmate in the Impostor mind show up, using it last humanity, take the crewmates to the last escape pod. The crewmate confused, and begging the Impostor to come in, but Impostor shut the door, and push the button. The escape pod flys away, the crewmate in the pod cries, without knowing he's the Impostor. The Impostor looks at the pod, and smiling with tears, atleast it can do one last good thing before going to hell.
The pets is a free win. The moral of the story, don’t kill the parent of pets.

This adds an interesting idea to the table: What if the "Impostors" are crewmates that have been hijacked by some form of alien, like the Flood? And in this case, the crewmate, using every last bit of strength and willpower they had left, fought back to get their friend and the smaller crewmates to safety, all the while having their entire mind reel and scream against the action.
The Impostor wanted them to live since he killed the other crewmates he felt guilty so instead of killing the last crewmate he lets him live with the mini crewmates and puts them in the emergency escape pod in order to save them while he stands there watching the escape pod drop down to earth because he felt that he doesn't deserve to live anymore because of the actions he's done

The Good Ending in Among Us
I just imagine the other crew members are there in spirit...watching, trying desperately in vain to warn them of the danger....only to see the imposter instead let their children go....
This is not only wholesome as heck and the most adorable thing I've ever seen but it made me cry.

This doesn’t really relate to the game, but rather the art itself. Anyway i’m not sure which i like more, the idea that a ruthless killing machine stops and has a moment of mercy and compassion, or a human being taken over by a malevolent infection saves a family in his last moments before being consumed
My friend thought among us was gonna be a scary realistic survival game because of all the fanart going around.

Simplicity creates vacuum of hardcore-ness. *Something's* gotta fill it when the game either can't or straight-up refuses to.

Ah, so that is what happens when there are as many imposters as crewmates. It definately fits the narrative of most horror movies that a lucky one or two survive.
*I broke the part* where the impostor watches the ship go away while feeling consumed by his instinct. That IS a hero.
