I own 4 Metropolitans here in England UK where they were made, they never floated as some folk think they do, your mistaking it from the Amphicar, which floats as does the Metropolitans rival the Volkswagen Beetle

I thought the same thing, but someone told me the boat/cars were a different manufacturer. Those were cool too.
