Love the name 😂 I think you should be allowed to crush puffy things like the pb puffs, just like you can cut up vegetables! It might be a little easier to eat, maybe even better texturally.

Maybe next time- I like to give new ingredients a chance as they are most of the time- then experiment if and when they get rolled again using what I learned the first time!

I'm highly amused that you have a fruit that people think is a vegetable on this as well as a vegetable that people think is a fruit. Love it lol!!

As an Englishman, our cucumbers are *perfectly sized!* and *not small!*

    Oh. My apologies.

To be fair, how you use your cucumber is infinitely more important than how big it is.

The other day, I bought some Deetz & Watson cranberry honey mustard specifically because I saw it mentioned on RFS. I'm sharing this so you can point to it and say that sponsoring you is good advertising. (Good mustard, too.)

Is it just me, or does it feel like the roughage rolls lately are more wild than the wild magic?

2:53 Boil rhubarb with strawberries, making it into a jam, or bake the combo into a pie. Your mouth will love you for it.
Rhubarb is technically a vegetable, but it's better to think of it as a fruit. That's the flavour profile it fits in. Rhubarb on its own works really well in sweet pies, or as a compote eaten with milk.

Nothing is "technically a vegetable" because nothing is technically a vegetable - there is no scientific definition for what a vegetable is, unlike "fruit", which has a specific, defined meaning.

The peanut butter puffs remind me of Bamba! I have joked that it is like peanut butter flavored chips with the texture of cheeto puffs!

Ciabatta bread! It's a white bread with a crisp crust that really holds its texture. You can find it at most supermarkets (even Walmart), it's quite good.

@@numilani8267 No, that's 4, what was rolled in this video. They're talking about the actual ??? on the roll sheet (for rolling a 1). I'm honestly curious what that means too.

Are there readily accessible peanut butter puffs that aren’t Bamba? I used to love those but don’t want to buy from Osem or Israeli companies rn

I must advise against eating a double roll of raw rhubarb (not pictured). The high amount of oxalic acid can be very bad for your teeth and calcium supply of the body.

I’ve eaten a lot of raw rhubarb growing up. We had it in our garden and used to dip it in sugar and eat by itself, I probably ate a lot more than that every time

    • @adventuresinaardia
      @adventuresinaardia  2 місяці тому +7

The high amounts of acid are in the leaves making them toxic to ingest in any amount. The stalks have far less, making them safe to eat as long as you don’t eat pounds of them at a time.

I see - I avoid raw spinach and rhubarb specifically because I already have problems with my teeth enamel. But if you can handle it, go for it lol.

Rhubarb is terrible. In any dessert it’s just “a good dessert plus weird celery.” Pairing it with cucumber sounds interesting though - anyone have any dishes that made you like rhubarb?

If you think rhubarb is terrible, you just haven't had a good rhubarb.
I just made my first strawberry rhubarb pie and rhubarb jam last week. They were amazing. I just ate some rhubarb jam on toast, not but an hour ago. Delicious!
