“Hey Bartender, I want to die tonight” is by far my favorite and most relatable.
i said “same aide, same” out loud
Agreed
I loved that one lol
I legitimately want that one lol
@@Altom85 I may have said the same thing to a bartender when I was in college.
Her messing up the lines kinda made it look like her friends have a point.
That would have been some good improv.
1,000th like
ik nobody cares but I think it's cool
This might have been the dress rehearsal cause she didn’t flub her lines live. Love this one !
"Basically I just sit in drink dirt and drink"
@@cjpatz I just saw a replay of it on NBC and she messed up the lines there too. Interesting.
“I am sexually promiscuous and my house is dirty” was actually really funny and I would probably buy it.
I also need the “Home: where the ho and me come together”
I just looked it up on etsy lmao
But I have a vinyl cutter and will do what I have to do
I read it as it was said.
Id probably buy the "Hey Barkeep, i wanna die tonight" sign
The props team must’ve had so much fun 😂
Ikr
They were projecting too much...
@@PuzzlePinkdolltuber thanks
Are you in this video?
Imagine all the "no"followed by the reasons why.
The fact that she kept flubbing her lines made her seemed drunk and actually made it funnier.
It's weird how she kept looking at the cue cards instead of just reading the signs.
Hilarious
Stupid.
@@ender003 its because if you she turned her head the audience can't see her facials and stuff
@@Elena-hv3lk Her facial expressions while reading aren't important. That's what reacting afterward is for. It just looks awkward and unnatural the way it was done.

“It’s my favourite”
That's because your cross faded as F.
Can you please delete this comment. I don't want it here. You have until 5 PM. Thanks.
@@BLOXKAFELLARECORDS give me one good Reisling why I should?
@@benswindlehurst1857 Because I said so. DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?
I read your comment at the 2:23 mark, right when Regina King said it.
Regina saying "It's my favourite" over and over again, started to feel like a personal attack. I'll try to be more nuanced in the future Regina King.
😂
Was that your favorite line?
That's funny, I say it way more often now
I love the end of the one sign that says "basically I sit in dirt and drink".
The way she says, "It's my fa-vor-it.
"My sponsor thinks I'm in bed" is hands-down the best alcoholic joke but "I'm sexually promiscuous and my house is dirty" is the one I need STAT
DM @woodasyouwish on IG and I can make it for you!
I don’t understand the alcoholic joke, please explain T.T
@@patrickhsu5582 a sponsor is someone who helps you through the process of Alcoholics Anonymous. So someone who has a sponsor in the first place knows they have a problem. They lied to their sponsor, though, and are out drinking. So the joke is like the disconnect in self-awareness
I do embroidered signs and after seeing how many people want this, I'm going to make an all-"I'm sexually promiscuous and my house is dirty" Etsy shop.
I really liked the “Home: where Ho and Me come together” sign. I’d buy that so fast
Same, I've added that saying to my "things to embroider" list
I want it too!!! But I'd like it better if it said 'where the Ho in Me comes together' 🤣
My husband and I actually made this sign for a white elephant party this year. It was a big hit.
That ones my favorite
I'm gonna make it
Kind of want the “I am sexually promiscuous and my house is dirty” sign though
That one was "My favorite".
Come on, Rachel. Take it easy. It ain't water.
same
Oof
I don't get it
I really thought the last sign was just going to say “I’m an alcoholic”
Regina King is one of those hosts with such incredible presence she elevates the whole sketch. Also, Cecily's suburban mom is *chef's kiss*!
Such an amazing actress but she was also so GAME for everything as a host! The weed gummy sketch was a particular stand out haha. And omg her 70s singer?!
She’s my favorite 😉
The “I am sexually promiscuous and my house is dirty” sign is all I want lol
Heck yeah!! Me TOO!! 😂🤣
@@lguimarin06 girl, for real?
I want a "I am sexually promiscuous, but at least my house is clean!" sign. But I guess promiscuity is kind of expected from guys, makes it less special.
I want the “ Hey barkeeper, I want to die tonight”
@@cosmicslacker omg same
Trish’s “friends” must have made some requests on Etsy because those signs are way too specific.

Cheers to that 🥂
Write a letter
I agree. I hate all those "wine mommy" signs normalizing problem drinking
I work at a store where we sell that and it's sooo uncomfortable. Like one of the signs we display unironically says "parenting tip: wine" O.O
Yeah, white western women have such easy lives in this world they get to develop alcoholism in the comfort of their own man-paid home
People: “sNl ISn’t FuNnY”
Me: “show me where the sketch hurt you.”
lmfaoooo
a lot of it especially the last like 5-7 years is pretty unfunny i think. but these kind of sketches are definitely good. It is way better in this youtube format - you dont have to sit through 8 'so stupid you roll your eyes' ones to get the good ones
snl has always had its ups and downs with sketches, episodes, and even full seasons. i personally think the cast is great and are really funny, but the writers just don't know how to utilize them properly except for maybe kate, keenan, and cecily
It wasn’t until I became sober that I realized how forcefully this “wine mommy” stuff is pushed on women. It makes the big bucks. Love this sketch.
@@CaliMel184 Absolutely. I just didn’t quite notice it until I intentionally stopped that we’re kind of expected to drink everywhere. For most people it isn’t a problem, but if you’re facing any kind of addiction or hardship that ends up being compounded by using substances as a long term crutch, it’s almost like- no wonder! The messaging that we need to be intoxicated around other moms, after yoga, after work, around our kids, holed up at home, out on the weekend- it’s everywhere. And it’s pretty tongue-in-cheek funny until it’s not, which makes this so hilarious.
Also, "Im a grown ass woman, drinking is a choice. I dont need to tell you my life story if I would rather have a coke than wine." - sincerely, someone who just prefers soda to alcohol
God this mom wine shit is so played out.
@Midnight Raven it’s a coping mechanism. And alcohol is psychologically and physically addictive
@Midnight Raven they can and some do. Alcoholics don’t just start seeing a therapist and stop drinking in the blink of an eye. For many, sobriety is the hardest thing they’ve ever done. Most can’t even fathom it in the beginning. Typically it takes years.
I fucking lost it at “hey barkeep I wanna die tonight” 😭😭😭
Not me, due to too many depressed people in lock down have committed suicide
I actually want that one...
@@davidthedeaf dude I have crippling depression and it’s still hilarious
@@davidthedeaf Jesus debbie downer
@@davidthedeaf I'm sorry. That's hard to deal and cope with and is very real. But as a former alcoholic and continually depressed person, it really helps to joke about it. It's not making fun of it, it's finding the humor in the rotten and miserable parts of life. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to cope with my struggles. I NEED to make light of it. You know that's why they used to make tragedies in Shakespeare time to purge us of all of our sadness. And then they started mixing tragedies with comedies because they found people enjoy laughing at things they struggle with. If you want an example of joking about tragedy in a way that's cruel I'd look up the comedy central roast with Steve-O and Amy Schumer making a joke about Ryan Dunn's death straight to his best friend's face. There's a big difference.
Chloe Fineman totally BECOMES whatever role she’s playing. Never anything less than perfect and believable. Cinderella, Tiffany Trump, middle-aged white mom.
This one was great.
It's my favorite
I lost it when the signs started flipping down

So did she 😂

The premise of this sketch is top-shelf
I see what you did there
Lmao
Is better than bottom shelf.
Having worked in the Home department of a department store, it’s actually pretty accurate how messed up these signs are. And middle-aged WASP moms love the shit out of them for some reason.
We can't help it. I was literally looking at some new ones to buy when my daughter texted me a Trey Kennedy sketch making fun of them.
"I'm sexually promiscuous and my house is dirty" unironically though where can I get that
“the woman on the sign looks just like you,,,she’s cute”

My favourite part of this sketch is how Aidy's character is uncomfortable with the signs, and that doesn't faze the friends at all - they just keep giving her more signs like "Here you go! 😊" Lol they act like NPCs in a game

The irony of this being an intervention while all of them are drinking wine. I love it. You could say it’s my favorite
It wasn’t an intervention
Holy crap! My neighbors actually did the thing with putting liquor bottles in my recycling. Went to put something in the bin, and was like: “When did I start drinking cheap hooch?” 🤣
Same, except I started going to different liquor stores once a store clerk starts addressing me by name
ROFLMAO🤣💀
Its bc their bin is full. Not bc the trashman might think theyre an alchie.
I know for personal reasons.
@@ChristinaFromUA-cam No, that’s not the case here. Each year, we are given a bunch of stickers that we can put on any bags of garbage or recycling that won’t fit in our can. All you have to do is sit it next to or on top of your cans and the garbageman will take it.
And even if their bins were full, we pay for trash removal separately for each house here. What gives them the right to come and put their garbage in my can? Can I park my car in their driveway? Come take their newspaper if I get to it before they do?
@@tvdavis Yeah I agree. I know in some countries, you're charged for your trash/sewer based on weight. So in essence, in your case you'd be charged extra for all of the items that were sneaked into your bin. It's just a weird thing to do, like just wait until next week, or go down to the recycling center in person if you really have that much extra! 😂
It just shows how you can literally put any thing on a sign w a fancy font and suburban women will buy it (As a homegoods employee, I can confirm this)
Quite sad and tasteless that those women actually hang that rubbish in their homes.
Ex employee I can confirm
I've given myself indigestion twice laughing so hard at this. It's comic genius. The lines are amazing and Aidy is the perfect comedian for this sketch. She just reads each message out so realistically and she's obviously really enjoying herself. She's phenomenal.
'I'm fine as long as no one gets on the trampoline' 🤣
When I was 11 I went to my best friend's birthday party. Her birthday was in December so there was always a lot of Christmas gifts available at the store. We ALL bought her bath kits 😅😅😅 after she was done opening like the 5th bath kit she looked at us really self-consciously and said, "Do I....do I stink?" 😟😵😅
LOL. Did she?
