Is weird to read this kind of comments. Like, not too long ago people would know who where the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Like, as part of popular culture, even kids knew!
I like seeing the younger generation react to songs I liked in my teens. You guys seem genuine and you give off a good vibe and that's what makes me come back and watch more of your vids.
Honestly I really love your guys' reactions. I grew up eating this music for breakfast, including the hard stuff too. I love it when people branch out from their usual and listen to something that could be good.
That would be great if they react to this. Most react to Californication and Under the bridge and lose interest in the band then. There are so much better tracks than these. Around the world get's you hyped.
If you knew the history of this band before they released this song you'd know why they made this video. This time period marked the band finally getting themselves into a good place after years of turmoil including a death, near deaths, a mental breakdown and copious amounts of drugs along the way. They're a very interesting band to delve into and I guarantee you won't be disappointment should you listen to more of their tunes. Most reactions on UA-cam are from this period and after (1999 - now), so it would be great to see some reactions to early RHCP material, ie. 80's to early 90's. A few of the top of my head: 'True Men Don't Kill Coyotes' 'Green Heaven' 'Fight Like a Brave' 'Yertle the Turtle' 'No Chump Love Sucker' 'Love Trilogy' 'Subway to Venus' 'Show Me Your Soul' 'Apache Rose Peacock' 'Soul to Squeeze' And there's loads more
I really enjoyed Chris's reaction because he sees how things can come back around and now he has the maturity to sit down and listen, Good on you! ✌️😁 Even more so that he enjoyed it 💖
Scartissue is my all-time favourite song from the Peppers... It's my go-to song for when I need to calm my spirit. John's guitar work on this makes me want to hop in my car and drive for days just to heal my mind and my thoughts.
So Anthony the lead singer was a heroin addict and he slept under a bridge in L.A. ..... can you guys do Under the bridge by the Red Hot Chili peppers that was one of their top songs
It's hard to pick one song from the peppers' vast catalogue and call that my favorite, their songs are perfect for every kind of mood.Too too good MAN 😍💖💖💖💖💖
I just found y'all today and I've watched AT LEAST 20 videos so far. I effin crack up at you two!! Your facial expressions and shit and when you both go "oooh!" at the same time... ugh you're just adorable together! Thank you for bringing my teenage years back with all the KoRn and Manson and RATM and Slipknot and what not. I've been following KoRn over 2 decades and they're a huge part of breaking the hip hop and rock divide. I love seeing you guys bringing all this shit to a crowd that they otherwise never would've heard!!
Time by Pink Floyd is probably the best song to get introduced to them. They are a unique band that can be really deep but Travis Scott definitively was influenced by their music. They are 🐐
Bout damn time! First listen was in 1987 in Santa Cruz. Check out the album "The Uplift Mofo Party Plan" and the songs 'The Power of Eqaulity', 'Under the Bridge' and 'Sir Psycho Sexy' on the Blood Sugar Sex Magik album. LIVE videos are Fire!
Love watching your reactions....you can just see it when the groove hits and you both start bobbing your heads together!! Lyrics for ya: Scar tissue that I wish you saw Sarcastic Mister Know-it-all Close your eyes and I'll kiss you 'Cause with the birds I'll share With the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view Push me up against the wall Young Kentucky girl in a push-up bra Fallin' all over myself To lick your heart and taste your health 'Cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view Blood loss in a bathroom stall A southern girl with a scarlet drawl Wave good-bye to ma and pa 'Cause with the birds I'll share With the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view Soft spoken with a broken jaw Step outside but not to brawling Autumn's sweet we call it fall I'll make it to the moon if I have to crawl And with the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view Scar tissue that I wish you saw Sarcastic Mister Know-it-all Close your eyes and I'll kiss you 'Cause with the birds I'll share With the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view With the birds I'll share this lonely view

Loved your reaction; this song has such a smooth flow. You two are adorable and it feels so good to see younger people experiencing ALL genres of music and spanning several decades--Rap, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Smooth Rock, Classic Rock, Metal Rock, R&B, Disco, Country, even Classical; if it's good, it's good.
This was my teen years. Glad you're listening outside your comfort zone. Music has a lot of beauty. It can build culture for you and others. My music is taste goes from classical all the way to the harshest metal there is. Keep an open mind!
Yeah often times you need to listen to things on your own. Whenever my parents played some shit I was always like "eh, no thanks" but then I'd listen to it on my own years later and would grow to like some of it.
All right you two...I've been watching for months (not years, sor) and never realized until today I never hit the "subscribe" button. So sor! You two Rock! Love your energy, and yeah, Rheasis is totally...:)
One of my all time faves. Reasia could not be more accurate. This is complete road trip music. I listened to the Californication album over and over on a road trip out west in 2006. ❤️
Dude lookin out the windshield is one of the greatest rock bass musicians to ever walk this planet, his name is Flea....and y'all need to react to Californication and Blood Sugar Sex Magic
This songs lyrics are a haunting beautiful story of the pain that people goes through with addiction and the how people perceive them after their recovery. The “scar tissue” in this song refers to the scar tissue from where a needle injection area healed. Althe bands singer Anthony Keidis is a recovered addict and many of his songs reflect his struggles as an addict. Beautiful song. If you wanna hear more like this I recommend “Under The Bridge”
The absolute BEST Concert that I've ever been to, in my life! Fu Fighters opened up for them, WHAT A DAMN OPENING ACT (1of the Best Bands there is)... I've been to a ton of Concerts, Rap, Rock, Alternative, Country, u name it, & The Red Hot Chili Peppers Concert was 2/12- 3hrs of HEAT!!
I love how you two take the time to think about the songs and talk about what they mean to you, it's the whole reason I watch reaction videos. I also love it when you're all cute with each other, it's why I like your intros, but this video I felt like you both showed off your love for each other and how much you like to have fun together ^_^
Oh, f*ckin' hell yeah! Red hot chili peppers...oh, man don't get me started with them - they're simply put one of my favorite bands. They have written SOOOOO many huge hits and great songs, starting from the early -90's! First I just want to say I love your channel...I think it's the first of it's kind that I really enjoy watching. Probably largely down to the fact that you seem to "react" to pretty much EXACTLY the kind of music that I love and in many cases grew up on - but also I love the way you really give every song a real chance, how you analyze them and and especially it's lyrics - and on top of that I find you simply endearing and entertaining to watch! Love from Sweden! "Breaking the girl" - that's another song I would HIGHLY recommend that you listen to! It's simply put one of their masterpieces and is set with very deep lyrics as well. (Actually the whole album "Blood, sugar, sex, magic" which came out some time in the early -90's is without a doubt their absolute masterpiece, their crowning achievement that put them firmly on the music-map forever!) "Give it away" - is another great song from the same album I mentioned above....it would be really nice to see you react to that one - not least so since it's one of their songs which kind of incorporates "rap" full out. Just thought I'ld mention that since I've at least gotten the impression that you like rap-music....or am I wrong? Anyway, thanks for the video....your channel keeps me sane during these times of Corona-lockdown! Keep up the good work.. Sinc. Matt.

In 2004, lead singer Anthony Kiedis released his autobiography, which was titled . In the book, he explained some of the lyrics: "Sarcastic Mr. Know-it-all" is Dave Navarro, whom Anthony refers to as "the King of sarcasm." "With the birds I'll share this lonely view" was inspired by birds that Anthony saw while he was singing outside of Flea's house, and he also says that the line has to do with how he felt like an outsider, looking in. Anthony was introduced to pot when he was 12, but he first got high when he was 4. He was walking down the street with his dad, and his dad blew pot smoke in his face.
OMFG watching you guys vibe to this is making me SO HAPPY 😩🤍 RHCP got my through my youth. Both parents were addicts and this helped me understand, gotta listen to more RHCP, like Under the Bridge 🤍 you guys!
I was a supermarket night manager when this came out, all the younger employees blasted this in the break room, probably heard this friggin song 300 times in a year, lol.
It's great to see you guys love this music. There's so much good music in this world. Your reactions almost made me cry with joy. Now we all feel a bit better after listening to this. Thanks you guys are awesome
1st, so happy you reacted to the Chili Peppers! They have a great body of music! 2nd I just happened upon your channel yesterday & loved you both instantly. 💕🤗 I've been binge watching your videos for 2 days. You cover a real eclectic range of music & many of my faves! You are both so in sync with each other during the videos & as a couple... beautiful! Goes without saying, you have a new subscriber!! ✌😗
Oh YES. My BOYS! That guy smiling into the dashboard is Flea, literally one of the greatest bass players in the WORLD. This was one of the first song of theirs I ever heard and I was a convert right then and there. So glad you enjoyed it. Check out pretty much anything from this album or from Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Keep it up! Love these!
Gotta say, I love these react videos where people listen to music from different styles they never heard much, because it was from outside their own groups growing up. Reminds me of a summer festival last year where they had totally different bands and rappers, so different that the crowds were never usually even in the same place at the same time. Was great to see the rap crowd turning up early and getting into bands they never heard of before, and then other people sticking around to see the rappers too. Cheesy as it is, music can and should bring people together.
Ayyy Idk what it is but I really fk with y'alls video man you two seem to genuinely cherish reacting but also cherish each other so the individual reactions have this added dynamic that's really playful and fun and tbh it's refreshing to SEE people react the same way I do when it plays! I'm the biggest rhcp fan if you ever do like a "band week" type reaction y'all would have a blast they been playing since the 80s. Like the 1980's. Yeah.
I love you guys reactions! Have been watching almost every rock video the last few days. You really feel authentic and that shows. Looking forward to see much more of you!
Wish more of us could see the beauty beyond hip-hip & R/B. Many of us are afraid of the stigmas and such amongst our own people, but when that courage to be yourself comes to fruition, what a beautiful sight. Keep doing what y’all do..

Only came across these reactions tonight and I'm hooked. It feels like I'm listening to them for the first time again the way these guys are reacting
Their bassist Flea is a classically trained musician. They've been around a looooong time. I ❤ their music and their story.
Yep. Always thought they was a 90s band but was shocked that they pretty much started off the same time as metallica (early 80s)
...and he did the bass line for bust a move(watch the video)
He was also the voice of Donnie on the Nickelodeon cartoon The Wild Thornberries
Flea and I share a birthday!!

Lyrics for ya:
Scar tissue that I wish you saw
Sarcastic Mister Know-it-all
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you
'Cause with the birds I'll share
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
Push me up against the wall
Young Kentucky girl in a push-up bra
Fallin' all over myself
To lick your heart and taste your health
'Cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
Blood loss in a bathroom stall
A southern girl with a scarlet drawl
Wave good-bye to ma and pa
'Cause with the birds I'll share
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
Soft spoken with a broken jaw
Step outside but not to brawling
Autumn's sweet we call it fall
I'll make it to the moon if I have to crawl
And with the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
Scar tissue that I wish you saw
Sarcastic Mister Know-it-all
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you
'Cause with the birds I'll share
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view
With the birds I'll share this lonely view

I've been binge watching your videos for 2 days. You cover a real eclectic range of music & many of my faves! You are both so in sync with each other during the videos & as a couple... beautiful! Goes without saying, you have a new subscriber!! ✌😗
😍
I love you guys! I bet you got that 300 times a day right? Let me know
Oh YES.
Great reaction ya'll. I can't wait to see the next reaction to this band!
Give it Away....one of my favorite songs from them....that's a must reaction!!
Yeah.
Keep up the good work. I listen to your reactions every time you put them up. BTW, I think you are authentic.
This is still fire in 2023! That riff is simple but powerful and classic!
