Very nice! I'm always impressed with footage the Mini produces. Love the orbit at the end. I really wanna start doing trips to fly around the David Thompson area. So many gorgeous spots!
You're welcome, it's definitely worth it! If you decide to camp it gets very busy in the summer months and you won't have much privacy. I would recommend finding a spot away from the main camping area where I stayed.
Hello, I have a DJI Mavic Mini. It weighs 249g and therefore you don't need a drone certification to fly as it's under 250g. As for the area, it's crown land and not in a National or Provincial Park so you're good to fly!
I wish you guys wouldn’t put stuff like this on the Internet. This is a beautiful spot and it is now overrun with campers. There is garbage everywhere. What is the point of putting this on Internet?
I don't recall the exact spot on a map but it was the main crown camping section of the lake, you know you're in the right place as there's a couple of porta potties down the road a bit once you turn off the highway.

@matt Fitzgerald hey buddy how is the quality if water there? Is boiling my water totally fine to drink and also should I bring a filtration system or do you think purification tablets are fine? Thanks looking forward to a response
Hi, I would recommend bringing a filter, I discovered little orange particles floating around in the water when I was there, also did not have any filtration setup which limited my use (washing dishes and bathing only).
From what I could find, the AB website says the passes would be available for purchase online at albertarelm.com or AlbertaRELM mobile app or at locations that sell fishing and hunting licenses. Sounds like it can be obtained instantly?
Hello, since this is crown land there are no campsites, the fun in coming here is that you can find your own place to camp at Abraham Lake. The main section is called the Abraham Lake viewpoint, that's where most campers enter and exit the lake but there are a lot of spots in other areas of the lake as well.
Used to be such a great place. Unfortunately it was discovered by countless ignorant people . The amount of trash being left behind there is astounding.
beautiful stuff. About how much per night do they charge for camping in this district ? Do u know of anyone who rents camper trucks etc ? Would need for 2 nights..Thx
Hope you enjoyed your wild camping because now you will receive a fine if caught. Wild camping is no longer allowed in Alberta due to septic dumping and littering.

with Public Lands Camping Pass, you are allowed to camp from Grande Prairie to Waterton Lakes National Park
What's the name of the campsite please to where we could stay. TIA
