I still have this set! This is one of my favorite sets just because Jim Lee is my all-time favorite artist. Plus, a number of these cards were used for Marvel Covers a few years ago. It just goes to show you Jim Lee's staying power!!!
As a kid, 90% of what I knew about the X-Men came from these trading cards. Great to see them again!

Watching box breaks of these are always fun, as you can really see how different the card culture was. Back then there wasn't a re-sale market, it was just companies wanting kids to buy as many packs as possible...which is why you see so many doubles, as it was really hard to complete a set back then.
Still fun to see the old art though.
These trading cards and the X-Men cartoon is how I go into collecting, comics was way later for me. This brought back a lot of good memories!

These are how I was introduced to the X-Men! My house parent at my group home taught me the whole roster. I had only been into Baseball, Football, and Hockey cards. It was 1992-93 for sure.
