Wussy takes their place right alongside the Beatles and the Rolling Stones for this generation. So glad we have this live recording of their songs from their best album. Thank God for Wussy!
There's so much music out there, but I can't believe it's taking me however long at least 10 years to find this band You guys are great. It does my heart good to see good music is still being produced. My favorite music from the '60s / '70s and on has then progressive. Great Stuff, I'm only several videos in, everyone has been awesome. 👍✌️💙
"It don't take much to sound like a sleeping prophet...." Incredible lyrics and an incredible tribute to the greatest of all the rock bands by one of the great rock bands of our time.
This is crazy. I've got like a total shoegaze vibe from this, but with some bluesy/folky vocals. Almost like the Low...not expected, but totally thrilled!
It's nice to see a new band with real diversity in ages get exposure. Seems like only the young bands get commercial success when there's so much more out there to be heard.
Robert Christgau gave the album Attica! a fucking A+, and later described Wussy as his favorite band. Wow. If you can get Christgau to give you a perfect grade and love you to death, your music has to be THAT good, and it really is! 🤗🖤
I agree. This is the one band that Christgau, without irony and with evident respect, completely loves. That's impressive from a critic who sometimes impresses me with his insights, but often irritates me with his easy dismissals. No such silliness with Wussy.
One of my favorite performances from WUSSY. Ok..they all are. I need to ebay Chucks Ass Pony's CD. Kidding Chuck! :-D When you guys playing next here in Cincinnati? Let's hook up and jam some Tuesday or Wednesday.
Poked that tator is the same as saying you knocked it out of the park. Both are alternative ways to say you hit a home run in baseball. And Ohio is in the Midwest, but as was mentioned, Cincinnati where they are from, is just across the Ohio River from Kentucky, which is considered a southern state. You can go back to the music now.
This is a great band! I'm glad they finally got live recording on the internet with good sound quality. If i ever get famous I'm gonna ask the lead singer (girl) out.
Brian Chylinski I've seen it. This is different level recording and performance here. It's hard to watch this kexp performance and not be very impressed. The performance in 2012 was good to me but not good enough to win people over. IMO

Saw this band years ago at the Beachland Ballroom and still remains on the top of my list of best live shows.

This is the most midwestern-sounding group of people I've heard in a long while, both the songs and the banter. Amazing group
The most under rated band in all of Merica !!!
I just love how happy this performance/interview is. There seems to be unencumbered joy there, which is nice.
Key to appreciating this band is to go against your instincts and and play them LOUD... it's a drone rock band subtly disguised behind folk rock.
This was so good. Thanks for always introducing amazing music KEXP!
RIP John Erhardt master of the steel.
Such a great sound. Really makes this performance.

Man, I am loving their sound! What a groove!

pretty girl with pretty voice, but chuck your voice has the real chops.
Lucky enough to see these guys playing alongside American Werewolf Academy in Old York UK a few years back. Outstanding stuff :)
UA-cam’s algorithms have been killing it lately. I found My Morning Jacket and this without searching. You get me, UA-cam
Beautiful is... beautiful.
RIP John
Love it 😍!

the version of joy divisions ceremony is very good

Lisa feeling it during Teenage Wasteland! Such a kick ass song.
this band saved my fuckin life
i wonder what that means: i'm not the monster that i once was. 20 years ago i was more beautiful than i am today. maybe a quote? from a monster?

Such a good band..it's sad that they haven't been able to quit their "day jobs" yet and be a band full-time.

xindeed1 Good I'm back in. Just need to get famous now....

A minute ago the ad came on in the middle of Bug. I realize that youtube needs ad revenue but come on!!!
I'm not the monster that I once was, I'm worse.
Ask not what the Wussy can do for you,
Ask what you can do for the Wussy.
I doth protesxt
rock chato
Fucking eh!!!! My ears thank you, lobes and all!!!
If every state were only able to claim one band, Wussy would be to Ohio what R.E.M. is to Georgia.
You guys poked a 'tater, for sure! Suicide Cokes all around!
come to new zealand
THAT AINT NO THE WHO SONG
C'est vachement mieux quand c'est elle qui chante...
P'tett bienqu'oui, p'tett bienqu'non...
Reminds me of good music before it all started sucking
The Renderers of Ohio.
this is high praise.
Would be famous but....sniff ah, too big a wussy.
I like the other d.j. at KEXP. He does not talk as much.
great music, but the female vocalist's voice just doesn't match...her voice doesn't fit.
Yeah, right.
