You are correct Mike, the plug & play harness only works for Goldwing year models 2018-2020, on my 2021 model the running lights only came on not the turn signals so I straight wired it. I was hoping for a quick plug and play but a good installer must always be prepared to improvise!
I have these in chrome. Rick and Team at Wing Stuff are pretty passionate about all things Gold Wing. They are the go to for Wing accessories. Now to these Pathfinder LED Cowl Lights. They are amazing. Super bright is an understatement. Very high lumen LED’s and perusal Pathfinder quality. I also used the 11 port Pathfinder Isolation Fuse Block. Since you have created the Caliente Signature Series Fuse Block you’re GTG. Nice work once again Chris. Good stuff. Ride safe and often. Peace
My Pathfinder Cowl light kit G18CWL did not come with the sub-harness for my 2022 GL which connects into both sides of the bike, BUT the Show Chrome fuse block 52-942 DID include it, so I will cut off the flat white connector end of the Pathfinder lighting wires and tap into the fuse block output with those wires. Seems an easier solution to me. Thanks for the video regardless!
Hello Chris, Man, I just finished watching your video on your installation of the Pathfinder LED COWL lights, great job! Unfortunately the harness didn’t work, but you had the solution with the harness you had already installed, that you tapped into. I guess in my case, I would need the Goldstrike distribution block to accomplish that hook up! I enjoyed your video!!! Loyal.

Hi Chris . I’ve just bought a new 2022 bike here in the U.K. . I’ll have to get some of these imported BM but same question about the Harness? How come it doesn’t work? Did the harness come with the lights or a separate?
Why didn't u tap into the showchrome and for the naked flame use a heat gun less chance of blowing yourself up with the petrol tank near by . The wiring is like spaghetti junction if you ever get a fault with the wiring it would take u a month of Sundays to trace .
Chris I just purchased a 2023 black Goldwing is there a way to leak your phone to the Goldwing hardwiring in the in the glove box I have tried the ma-1 Motorola I can't seem to get it to work
These were PATHFINDER BRAND LIGHTS that I installed In this video but GOLDSTIKE Brand Lights gives you a limited lifetime warranty when you buy Goldstrike lights products. My suggestion is that you reach out to Pathfinder to see if you are covered under some kind of warranty!
Khalid, thanks for watching my videos in your country, but unfortunately motorcycle are very small and it’s impossible to completely hide all the wiring for lights unless the manufacturer completely wired the bike for accessories during production before assembly and that’s not realistic.

Hey Chris. I have the same lights. The harness won't work on the 21+ models due to the can bus system.

You need a CAN bus controller for your year and model bike to make those lights work as advertised then it’s plug and play

I have that same Motorola adapter on my 21. You do need a Bluetooth headset connected to the bike for that to work.

Here in the States we like lights. Many lights. To be seen. Better visibility from road traffic. When done “correctly” this is never a problem.
