Awesome reaction! If you don‘t know yet: „Blut im Auge“ means „Blood in the eye“. Another really epic song by Equilibrium is „Unbesiegt“ („Undefeated“) And if you really wanna take some time and enjoy hands down one of the best instrumental Folk Metal songs, listen to the 15-minutes-beast „Mana“ This track is a wonderful journey that pulls you right into a fairytale land with trolls, elves and dwarves. Greetings from Germany! Stay curious and healthy \m/
Great pre-workout music. These guys are both epic, heavy, and fun all at once. Karawane is an outstanding song by them. At that point they had a new line up with a different vocalist who sounds more like a bear (he's also a massive dude). There's a live version of it floating around out there but the studio version would do just fine. The song is the very definition of "EPIC". Cheers!
Try Finntroll-Trollhamaren, trollfest brakebein, Korpiklaani vodka, In an other levelof folk try Falkenbach Donar's Oak, Forefather steadfast,Heidevolk Krijgsvolk and Primordial Tragedy's Birth...:p
hey man. u like this then.u gotta react to Brymir - Herald Of Aegir,,,these guys have my favourite band, dont wanna sound harsh but Equilibriums music for me has faded,,but Brymir has relit the candle,,oh and they sing in english lol
Dude, i'm also a former Equilibrium fan and didn't know this band yet, thanks for sharing! If you're searching for that trademark epic folk metal style, i can also recommend Vanaheim (dutch band). 🤟
I came here on weird ways and honestly did not like the song you reacted to, but hey, new subscriber and you probably now know how to say "Blut im Auge". 😄(German speaker here).
Hmm. I do love the vocals. The rest is hard to swallow. I appreciate the skills of these musicians, and it's kinda cool; but I could not listen to this type of Metal very often, if I'm being honest.
god tier band, their best days were early 2000s. it's german.

Their masterpiece is Mana, a 16 minutes instrumental from the same record with blut im auge.
Oh yeah. I have no idea what the hell they are saying. As long as I nail the "blut im auga" line I'm happy.
Means blood in the eye, bro :)
You could probably copy paste the lyrics into google translate and might get the gist of the song

Their rise again song has a good quality live video on UA-cam, with better vocals too. Great band
