I purchased quite a lot of the resin kits back in the early eighties. The only problem I had was getting the curve in the front windshield. Any good suggestions? I also see that the resin kit you were showing is way better than the original ones I have . It takes me days to get the cab good enough for paint and the full engine won't fit under the hood either. I enjoy your videos.
For a curved windshield, you can use a section of a clear two liter soda bottle or you can use a hair dryer to heat up some clear sheet plastic pressed over a curved surface.
Before I begin, how are you? I hope your health issues have resolved, and you have begun a sure and steady recovery. The following are my notes of your explanation. You mention Dave. What is his full name and business address, please? Jim Etter, American Industrial Truck Models. Again, what is his business address, too, please?
These Dodge cabs do not have a tilt hood. They have a conventional type hood and the front fenders swing out from the sides hinged at either side of the radiator.
Great tips for working with resin. And nice looking '77 Road Runner on there on the bench!
Good information. I have built a couple of fire trucks with AITM cabs, still have a couple more.
