Beautiful interview and presentation. Politicians we should let the professionals lead our country and take advice from them asfor our politicians are totally ignorant and cluelessof where our country is heading on to. Powers should be in the hands of professionals and not the politicians
I think Anura when he wins , should not abolish the presidency atleast for 2 years until he brings all the culprits to justice and until the country is in a stable condition.
Great discussion gentlemen, Hats off to Kusm for keeping SJB politics out... at least to a larger degree. Sadly the masses of Sri Lanka will never get this message,,,, they can never understand the higher level matter being discussed here. Saliya is spot on when he says how so many are keeping mum when Ranil is insulting the judiciary openly and breaking the spirit of the constitution... Sad how some can never rise above that and call a spade, A SPADE
Good interview but its not dlhonna solve the problems we are facing. As long as the current politicians are in circulation, there us no way this country will move forward. When the president promises political security to ministers who support him, when the opposition leader takes in MPs who drafted the constitution to favour extended life to the Executive Presidency, letting MPs behave like monkeys, jumping from one party to another for political benefit. And most importantly, being able to Blatantly Lue in Parliment without any consequences, we know we are doomed! All three major parties are hand in glove in with their 'Political Rivals'.
It would have been great that if you had given the history, how this executive presidency came about and the damaged that it did to the country. This is the curse of JR,
Many Thanks for interview guiding the public to elect honest sincere leader to rule the country
Newsfirst Sri Lanka, amazing content keep up the awesome content

Good discussion. It’s better to abolish the presidency, as in the past and in the present, the Executive Presidents turned out be Dictatorial,

Are party manifesto es legally bound?
Saliya preaching is akin to pot calling the kettle black. Not everyone is stupid
Executive presidency is not an evil it’s an asset to keep the country united in times of volatility
