I read the first book last week and I enjoyed it a fair bit. I wasn't holding out much hope for it as I'm probably (definitely) not the target demographic. But yes, Solid 3* for me, I will read the rest of the series to see how it progresses!
I absolutely loooove this series! It’s been a while since I’ve read it so I honestly don’t remember the conflict feeling unresolved like you mentioned BUT the third book definitely fell a little bit flat. I’m due for a reread because I can’t even remember what about the third one was flat but I remember being slightly disappointed when I read it. Glad you still enjoyed reading the series at least!
Yeah, I think you're right. The third book did feel a bit flat in general as if it was the last couple of chapters in a book that's been stretched out for too long (I also think the ending was a bit too happy/sweet) - I feel like if it has differed more from the two first books with Jude and Cardan truly finding each other and connecting (not just giving in to each other) the third book would have had an entirely different feel to it :)
I recently read this series as well (after postponing it as I kinda did not enjoy the first book *that* much for some reason) and I absolutely loved it!! I can totally relate to the "thing" with her sister, lol. And the slow burn and enemies to lovers-aspect within these books was indeed 👌 chef's kiss!
Funny, I think I liked the first book the best 🙈 I don't think I've recovered yet from the thing with her sister though haha! Yes! It was so lovely to read a true slow burn again ;D
I didn't read the books, I listened to them on Ultimate Autobooks here on youtube. Caitlyn Kelly read them all!! there was 5 books in all. Now there is some more coming out to cover Prince Oak's line. I am hope Caitlyn Kelly will read these too. Other wise the Books are fabulous. 😀
You mean the discrimination of humans from fairies? 'Cause then most definitely. If you are thinking about something else then please enligthen me, 'cause then I don't think I saw it.
No, it’s quite obvious I think. I also think it’s a common theme in many fantasy books that some races are discriminated unfairly. Probably why I didn’t address it although I should have 🤯
Have you read this fantasy series? And what did you think of it? :)
No but I want to so I appreciate this spoiler free review!!
also love your eyeliner!!
Go for it! Can't wait to hear what you think of it! :D
Aw, thanks! :*

Ooh, I didn't know there were audiobooks here on UA-cam. I'll definitely check them out :D
Did you see the metaphor for racism in this I’m really hoping you did
