-Modern, clean rooms with some offering views of the pool or fireworks
-Location is not too far drive from Disney Parks. 10 - 15 minutes. for
-Has a relaxing pool
Cons:
Parking ($35 per night for self or $50 for Valet)
-No water filling stations on property
Pricing:
The average nightly price for a standard room: $400-$500
The average number of Marriott Bonvoy points required per night: 40,000- 60,000
I recommend using points to stay at this property unless the rate is under $400.

Really nice hotel. Rooms are by far nicest of any Marriott property in Disney area and the exec suite he highlights is fantastic and quite reasonably priced. Just be aware dining options fairly limited.
Yes this one, Swan Reserve, JW Grand Lakes and Ritz Grand Lakes all have similarly nice and luxurious rooms. All our great options in my opinion and I would go back to all of them

A brand new hotel and they didn't install a water filtration system? WTH goes on in these planning meetings. 😂
I know! It should honestly be a brand standard for all Marriott brands to have a filtered water bottle filling station. I will see to it if I ever can be head of Marriott guest experience:)
It’s this better than the Marriott world center Orlando?
Both are nice options. This one is more luxurious. But the Marriott does have a water park. So depending on what you want.
Have you stayed at the Waldorf Astoria nearby? If so how would you compare the two?.
I have not as it’s not a Marriott property. But from the pictures the Waldorf does not look as new and modern as the JW. Looks dated and tired therefore I would not choose to stay there. For many it could still be a good option but the decor for me just doesn’t inspire there.
Josh as a Marriott Elite member, are the upgrades usually automatic based on availability or do you find it beneficial to ask for an upgrade. TIA!!
Depends on Hotel. Most Marriott hotels usually do their best to upgrade for Gold Members and higher but I always ask as it never hurts! Platinum and higher are eligible for suites if available at check in. At the JW Bonnet Creek I had to ask as I had originally booked a room with 2 beds and they will not upgrade to suite as those only have one king bed.
JW Bonnet Creek has a reputation for consistently upgrading eligible elites to Executive Suites.
Even for a lowly gold member? I booked a suite for Dec bc I didn't think I'd get an upgrade @@ucjustice1
What comparable hotel would you choose over this if you were planning a trip to Disney?
My second picks would be JW Bonnet Creek, JW Grand Lakes or Ritz Grand Lakes. For non Marriott just Disney resorts probably Animal Kingdom as it is so unique experience.
